@@JoshConnectMedia What kind of competition are we talking about if UA-cam is blocked in China? And China blocked it for the sake of developing Chinese social networks.

They (Cogito support) keep saying "soon" but it hasn't happened in the last 6 months, so who knows when or if it will happen. Well, I'm gonna assume that With the DJI drone band actually moving along a worrying amount. They set up a front company in Hong Kong, which the US recognizes as an ally, so just a way to move around.
Think about it. Is there any way DJI wouldn't come down like a ton of bricks on a firm that cloned their drone, controller, app, and even the manuals? Also, rumor is this drone is updating via the DJI CDN. The front line DJI reps probably don't have a clue about what's going on at the level involved in this case. International markets, white label devices -- this would not be the first time in tech.

It takes some practice to keep it smooth and keep the subject centered for a full orbit. In general the sticks are one of the two movements, either left and right sticks "in" o>
So this one has also Video Transmission System O4 ? 🤔
appears to be exact same protocol.
How is it so far. Any firmware updates yet.
It flies great and there are batteries available on Amazon now, though I ordered a spare for the Air and received batteries for the Mini 3 times. Maybe they have it sorted by now, I kinda got worn out trying after 3 wrong orders. I was JUST contacted by Cogito and they said they have a major firmware update coming out that will address the geozones and more in the next couple of weeks that they asked if I'd try out, so I will publish that on the channel for sure. 🤙
@@AlienDrones awesome to hear about the firmware update look forward to it. Yeah that is what I have heard about the batteries that’s been a big reason I have pulled the trigger yet.
Excellent review. Subscribed.
Thanks for the vote of confidence! 🤙🤙
Nice. Thanks for sharing brother. God bless
Thanks for watching
Fimi x8 mini pro v 2 review's you have any??
None of the mini, only the X8pro...
@@AlienDrones no problem thanks keep on flying my friend good stuff 🤠
Was the drone footage unedited ?
Straight out of the camera in auto, no filters, no post processing done.
Where can you buy this?

Seems to be a good deal. it's the only way to get an "air 3" with the RC controller without the flymore combo.
It’s nice, but lack of info on their own website and the Geo Fencing that can’t be unlocked makes it a non-starter for me.
It does look and apparently flies like a DJI, but lacks the DJI after sale support. Again that’s a huge red flag for me.
Have to have parts, service and accessibility to support and they need to do it soon or it will be a missed opportunity for sure. Maybe it's simply too early and they will be on top of it soon but you don't get a second chance to make a first impression.
I like the set up
Only 1 battery ?
Agreed, not sure why companies do this. My guess is to get the entry price as low as possible, but I need a case/bag, multiple batteries and a charger bare minimum...
I’m convinced it’s a rebadged DJI air 3. There are photos of the circuit board on the internet. I’m just curious as to what DJIs plan is. 🤔🤔🤔
Well, I'm gonna assume that With the DJI drone band actually moving along a worrying amount. They set up a front company in Hong Kong, which the US recognizes as an ally, so just a way to move around.
I will definitly consider this as my 3rd drone.
It is a nice drone, hope they get the site and support up soon...
International markets, white label devices -- this would not be the first time in tech.
and who and how can dji a chinese company go to court against ? hong kong is now china and in china there is no copywrite on anything at all.. its not usa or western world it is china where anything goes... forget all about patent crap it dont exist in china.
@@philldownes8685 Actually, China has a quite robust intellectual property regime internally (which would include Hong Kong of course). And a major firm with a global profile like DJI would have major sway within that regime.
I'm sure they know full well exactly what's going on. They aren't going to openly admit it because then "cogito" would also be banned
I’ve recently seen adverts for this on Facebook, but thought it was just a fake cheap drone that was being advertised for a ridiculous price. I might have to check it out more.
Thanks for sharing! Most of those ads are simply scam junk but this is an excellent drone with great functionality, decent features with the dual cameras, the price is fair for the kit that is available. Until they get their site running with accessories and extra batteries and ability to unlock geozones, it's a wait and see for me. But one to watch in the future for sure.
@@AlienDrones , I dunked my DJI mini 2 in a creek after flying it down the creek and was nearly through to the end and didn’t check around before moving forward and destroyed the main flight controller board, sent it to dji just to get a quote as I was a bit short on cash. They fixed it up and I couldn’t afford the money to fix it and just let them have it. I should have asked if they’d let me pay it off lol. Then I was offered an avata from a friend and he let me pay it off. I love the avata for its speed and agility, but it’s not a very stable cinematic drone. I’d love to get the mini 4 pro, but don’t have the money, it would be a good compromise between a full cinematic drone and small structure so that it doesn’t scare people. Oh well, I guess I’m just going to have to save up for one, or if this one you’ve tested gets better over time and has a good customer support I may end up saving up for this one. Thanks for the review and for replying back to me. Looking forward to checking out your other videos. All the best from Australia.
Pronounced: Cogg’-ee-toe, as in cogito ergo sum. A latin thing. Cogito means “I think.” Great review Tim, thanks. Might get me one after they punch out a few bugs. DJI could use a little competition. Good for the sport.
Have you noticed a photo or video quality between the Specta and Air 3?
The image quality is IDENTICAL. They are the same camera/hardware. Different firmware...
Hey! He's back doing drone reviews 🔥
Did I stop? Maybe I forgot... 😎
Is it cheaper?
Clearly a paid advertisement
I had to pay for it by donating my liver, but good news is it should grow back. Then I'll be able to get the next model.
if i can not use any battery diy or other wise they can keep it i do not do Apple priority bs needs a firmware hack or something. i am not a drone owner but from looking at a 100 usd to this 1k i do not see 900 in extra dron may be 300 .seems like we are in gap ville at the moment
awesome tutorial :)
I need a drone like this
This is interesting, especially when it comes to the BAN part. Because TECHNICALLY, The drone assembly is from Malaysia, not China. So it's actually coming from a non-Ban country. Also, Hong Kong is not considered mainland China as well.
It's fun and interesting for sure...
Create a Day Nite camera system.
DJI for sure 💯
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a DJI duck😂
Don't ducks go in the water? 🐟💦
Please do a more detailed review.
This would have turned my head a little more if the ISO was somewhat variable… THAT would seal a deal for me.
The ISO is fully adjustable.
Great footage
Thank you kindly
hahahaha. I love the sound. Just sounds like my DJI Air 3. Never knew it got a twin brother . How cool is that in this world. Identical DNA. Awesome. The beauty of innovation. If other country can't think and innovate, they try to ban!!
Exactly! So many people are ticked off somehow, personally I don't care where the innovation comes from or why, as long as the consumer wins somehow I'm okay with that...
Incognito DJI think they are smart with this one
This is 100% DJ.I in case the DJ.I ban happens. They're switching everything over to spectra.Doesn't take a rocket.Scientist to figure out😂
DJI!
Amazing rth landing
Indeed, one of the best I've had. Had a couple others that search for the landing pad do this well, makes me wonder if it did a pad search and just didn't report it as the camera did point down during landing then pointed back out again a few feet off the ground.
Getting one
Cool video bro. Crazy a drone like this exists DJI bit not lol😅
Yes, please do a more in depth tutorial.
April fools nearly got me lollllll😅
If this were published on April Fools it would have been a good one for sure... 😎 maybe next year!
Very impressive got any prices yet😢
@@paulcgburrows7267 This kit is available on Amazon right now amzn.to/4a5oL5V
Not thanks got dji air 3
If that is not a DJI than I will eat it. Maybe that’s the way around theDJI band😅I can’t believe what I am seeing I don’t care what they call it what do you think." DJI with different name,,,
It's DJI with different name!!
I would gladly sell my air-3 for this one, IF they offered an HDMI out port for fpv goggles. That is the one thing I miss about my P4 pro plus drone.
Nice 😊
Great review. Does it have 10 bit log footage?
No surprises given it's a cloned DJI Air 3 to avoid the USA ban
Indeed, that was a good but arrogant thought from DJI, but it made things worse. ALL Chinese based drones/drone parts regardless of the name are now on the list to be banned from import to the US... Thanks DJI.
Why are DJI doing this?
It looks like a DJI, the controller looks like DJI, it flies like DJI, the battery fits like DJI, but there is no relationship? Sounds like someone is lying or, a copyright infringement case will appear soon.
Or, DJI has as an agreement with them where they can’t disclose that relationship.
Bingo. Most likely licensing with an NDA in place. At least you didn't talk about ducks... 😅😅
The FEDS will not like this 😂😂😂 it's a DJI. Do they think we are STUPID 😂😂😂 Good video !
Look at they way American has been run for the last 3 years, and you get the answer to your question.
They did work with dji in the design of the products and now gone to make a name for themselves
It cost more thwn the dji one. Djo is only 1099 and the soectra is 1199
Not with the RC 2
@@AlienDrones is it 1199 woth that controller
@@maddmavic Specta: $1199 with RC2 controller, DJI you cannot get the Air 3 with RC2 controller by itself, the smallest kit with the RC2 is $1549, but it includes 2 more batteries. So not much more expensive if you remove the batteries, but the DJI is more for the same equipment.
Be a DJI without telling me you are a DJI! 😂
Definitely a dji air 3 in disguise… nice move
How does another Chinese drone help us with the ban? We need a US or an allied drone company to stay in the consumer market, alas all of them go military because of the $$.
Magic Air 11
This dude loves being on tv look at me over here look mom look at me I'm on tv I hope they never fix the bridge so I can be on tv every day
You’re being lied to. This is 100% a dji drone. They’d be the first to sue and we’d all be hearing about it. The app even reports to dji servers!
100000000%
Still Chinese origins so it doesn’t matter ban will follow it as well
geo fencing .... no way thank you . i'll stay with my autels . i never had a problem with them.
i think a dji employee made new company,, hehehe
Hadn't thought about a DJI employee (someone with all the drawings and programs), that would be something for sure... 😎
