100 % agreed! @brentinjapan for me, it's everything!! once your out of the matrix and you see how the powers that be are pushing us in the wrong direction to enslave us, I always do the opposite of the mainstream. From diet, vaccines, salt, sun lite, climate change, woke politics etc. etc.
Love to hear you interviewed, Dave, because I always learn something new or at a deeper level. I don't know how youhave time; but you're continuously learning and sharing with us. The gum disease information got me. You made the point how important it is to do what we can to get rid of gum disease to avoid Alzheimer's disease. Thank you.
Not sure if you've seen this one. It's part 3 of an interview series I did with a Stanford professor where she talks a lot about the link between gum disease and dementia. ua-cam.com/video/B4aPLUB0EYw/v-deo.html
Dave described the Glut 4 Transporter mechanism quite well. I have been clean carnivore for 22 months and I have seen a dozen improvements and I am never going back. Carnivore is proper human behaviour. I have food freedom. The closer to Paleo Man that we get the healthier we become.
22 months!? Wow! Great! My eyes glossed over when he said Glut 4 whatever. LOL Paleo is interesting to me because there is no way to know for sure what people ate before, but we know what they didn't eat: simple carbs!
Before I went carnivore I didn't see that anything I ate affecting my body. But after eating carnivore and feeling the positive affects of it I feel the affects of eating something different. I don't know if I'm just feeling more aware or whether by body actually rebels after getting premium fuel for as long as it has.
I thoroughly enjoyed this learning more about Dave since I follow his interviews about the carnivore style of eating. I've always been intrigued about Japan so now I am aware of this podcast. Thanks!
Yeah! I'm watching more and more of his channel too! Not only is he interesting, he has a lot of great guests. I lucked out getting him on my little podcast for sure!!
Aw! Thanks so much. Of course Dave is a lovely person but also it’s my intent to display a conversation like anyone may have at the dining table which is why no microphones are present.
Any digestive problems it will work. I ate meat and vegetables for 8 months but it wasn’t until I dropped the vegetables did I see full recovery from many things I didn’t even think about. I just wanted the stomach pains and indigestion to clear
I've always felt as though it's likely more difficult to do carnivore in Japan than some other countries like the US. It's about availability. For example, you two talked about meat, and without Costco, I wouldn't be able to find reasonably sized packs of only beef. The beef/pork mix is very fatty and makes great burgers, but I always feel the best after I eat only beef, or ground beef with eggs. 😋
Cost definitely limited meat consumption years ago but now there is a Costco within driving distance of most Japanese people and more imported meat from Australia and the US. Unfortunately there’s also a lot of convenient premade processed frozen garbage that comes along with it.
Go to supermarkets and buy protein foods that Japanese don't eat, like chicken feet. Chicken breasts flesh is much tastier than what I have bought in large supermarkets in Thailand. Raw fish is great in Japan, but costly by weight. Eggs are under USD$1.00 for 10 eggs. Lots of 'yakitori' restaurants. I think organ meats are available for sale, but not widely?
@@chasmac9109 Chicken breast is definitely cheap. I buy frozen chicken thigh from Brazil - super cheap. I already eat lots of meat and eggs, veggies, some brown carbs and less white carbs. If there isn't protein, it's not a meal! LOL
@@chasmac9109 The eggs near me are quite expensive. I think of it as 100 JPY to $1 USD (if you think about dollar stores/one yen yen shops, it makes sense), so 10 eggs for me about is $2.50-$3.00, sometimes more. 😅 I find chicken thighs are better because they are fattier, always skin on. I don't eat carbs, so the boneless, skinless chicken breast at the supermarket is pretty much useless. I can always find organ meats, but I unfortunately can't stomach them. And yes, Japan is great when it comes to grilled meat, but going out to eat is too expensive for me... I save so much just eating at home. 😊
The reason the interviewer doenst notice changes in his body is because he hasn’t eliminated everything g except meat so he just can’t tell what’s going on at all. If he tries strict carnivore for a couple months and then eats plants he will feel it no doubt. Same for dairy.
Yes, When I transitioned from keto to carnivore I noticed it immediately . every time I ate Broccoli ( and nothing more ) I felt wrong ... so I finally dumped all veggies altogether , that was 3+ years ago. all the best , cheers
It’s possible! I’m insensitive to other physical things too like medicines and hours of sleep, to an extent, obviously. I’m considering carnivore as an experiment. It’s not something I’m interested in sustaining. We’ll see! Thanks so much for watching!
