I love playing a song WITH you! Let's do more of that-especially since there is no one for me to play with! PS There's a potential of rewriting those lyrics--instead of prison -"I'm stuck at home, inside..., etc." Everyone: Keep washing those ukulele hands:-) PPS -thanks for the earlier cute baby photo. So sweet to see that sweet chubbiness.
Very much like the man in black link, keep up the good work because now we've all got lots of time to practice. Your young lad looks great, enjoy being a Dad.
Thanks Kevin. I love the way you teach. Even us oldies 74 can learn from you. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to next week already. Hello From Western Australia. Also forgot. Congratulations on your new boy Regards Norm
Sorry to bother you Kev. I have been able to download PDF for lesson 1 in the new format but when I play lesson 2 or3 it will not let me download PDF. It keeps saying download PDF for lesson number 1. I have tried and tried to get the printouts still says download lessons for number I hope this gets to you. Could not find your email address. Sorry not up with technology. Regards Norm
Great suggestion - I’ll try it out! Thanks for tuning in and if you’d like more information about the series, I have pdfs available at www.allforuke.com/lessons
Hi Kevin .Quite new to all this find I cannot do Dm with correct fingers have to use middle finger to cover both strings on second feet as far fingers not enough room to get middle and ring do get a in space is that ok
Is your new website up and running? I tried to access your website and had some problems, all new, I guess. Help? Your baby boy is so handsome! Good Job~
Hey there - the new site is up and running. Try refreshing your browser before you check it out again. Let me know how it goes and thanks again for learning with me :) - Kevin
You are helping me unlock the mystery of strumming! One small request: please speak a bit slower. I know you want to get in a lot of information in a short time. Your normal more relaxed pace works better for me. I would rather watch a bit longer and feel relaxed as I learn new information. Otherwise I love everything about your teaching. I especially like your comment on fingering G7 to C in this video. I think of you often playing G to Em that you taught in another video. Thank you!
Hey Carole - I think I had a wee bit too much coffee before this film session lol. Having a newborn at home requires a little bit more pep in the step so sorry if I was a little more animated than usual. Appreciate the feedback and that you’re learning with me. If you’re looking for worksheets for these lessons, check out my new site www.allforuke.com. Keep in touch - Kevin
AllForUke I have two daughter each with a two year old and four year old. Believe me I understand sleep in everything! You are doing a great job! I am grateful that that you are continuing to teach during these difficult times.
Thank you , Kevin! Country road is now our favourite home jam song on a Friday night :)

So enjoyed your lesson! Thanks for keeping all of us motivated. Taking advantage of practicing more and wishing everyone well. Keep the faith.
Congratulation on your new Baby Kevin ( I just watch this video today . Lol )
you are DA BEST !
Thats a great video. I was stuck in the island strum for a while and needed to break out of my rut. Thanks for the great stuff!
Hey Kevin thanks for your strumming lessons and congrats to u and your wife.

Cracking video Kevin, getting more practice in, being quarantined, Thank you, from across the pond.
I love this mini course, Kevin! I think that one song that could be played with the 2/4 signature would be Country Roads?
Great lesson - stay safe all of you. x

Loved this Kev. Funnily enough, I’ve just been learning Folsom Prison Blues and this was a huge help. Keep on ISO practising. Thank you from Oz.
Sweet strumming lesson.
Another great lesson Kevin
The Dm and C part is the same as with somebody that i used to know, Good practice for this pattern.
Brilliant Kevin 😊
Again, great instructions and the DUXU works really well with Fulsom Prison, with a bit of speed, the rhythm sounds like a train! Thanks!

Good day what strumming pattern would you recommend for Jolene. Please

I think Sunny Girlfriend written by Mike Nesmith (still a Monkee) is 2/4 😃
Or perhaps '39 by Queen.

I like the faster pace. You tube let’s you slow it if you want but I like to move. You can always pause and replay if you want to.
