3 lbs dried Chana, ? How much water or oil did you use ? Heaping tablespoons spoons .. and very large pinches is what the slang of the culinary world say . You can also say a large or medium onion or how long you marinated it for . When I saw my mom cooking she would measure the same way and I would put her measurements of spices in a small bowl then use a real cooking tablespoon or teaspoon to measure the amount . Hope this helps if you want to give a more precise recipe to your non Trini followers . Your food looks yummy . Great job I really enjoyed your cooking videos Thanks for sharing ! Keep making more !
