For sealing those rust holes in the hyd. Tank, I would use "the right stuff" made by permatex. It comes in a caulking gun tube at Napa for $26. I saw a UA-cam video of a guy that used it to seal a huge hole in the side of an engine block of a boat. He said those engines only get up to 400 degrees.
