Yep it's the ess-one for sure!! they made them for associated also but that stinks they made it not upgradable to change the sound how stupid was that!
I took a chance but for my needs it will be fine. It's just the little sound would have been nice to tweak as the lorry one is the one I would have used.
I hope I can get it finished, not done much for the last 2 weeks. Next door on holiday and the noise in the garden so bad I cannot work on it. I have the tarp frame finished, just the cloth to do. I'm trying to finish the rear to leave just the cab to do as that bolts on is seconds.
The sound is great, shame it did not work with the Rc Plus link. I think they need to make sound units a little cheaper, it's the reason this is my second.
I don't know the ESS-One. I have the Reely version. There's no horn but an air clutch and I'm happy with it in all my Tamiya Big Wheelers. Whe it's just motor sound and has not to be scale these simple ones are good enough
Sense ESS-One and ESS-Dual are the main sound units people seem to use. But I have the ESS-one and it's the same item and thid one had RcPlus on the bag inside that's the software Sense ones use. Just a shame it's locked.
Hi, congratulations for your video, it was very useful to me, I have to install both the motor sound unit and the single LED lights for truck together. Individually they work perfectly but by wiring them together if I turn left or right the direction indicator lights start to go crazy... as if they were grounded but that's not the case. could you help me?

It sounds very realistic. I look forward to hearing it in the finished build 🙂👍🏼

Sounds good to me Mal
It's a chopped down ESS-One, shame it cannot be programmed.

I have not use the light unit so do not know. Check the plugs are in the right place and see if there is any set up for them in the instructions.
