Are RC sound kits any good? Is it worth spending the extra money for a “better” one? Lets Try It!

I have the Sense Innovations ESS One Plus LE Sound Simulator, I love it!
It gave me problems, but after adding some foam to secure the internals, I haven’t had any more issues! Great sound and features! 100% agree with you!
I'm using the TBS Mini from ebay.. I haven't had any experience with others but the mini has light control, servo control and mix sounds with light and servo control. It doesn't come with the USB for programming. But once you have all the components it really is awesome.

That would be dope, there are a lot of sounds you can pick from the website, and in the place of the horn, you can select sirens which would be dope on your build!!!

The $50 one surprised me! The features are cool and it sounds great!
Unfortunately sound kits are crap because the sound stay the same volume but just change the effect, the volume should be higher with more throttle input .
That’s a solid point! Could be a multi million $$$ idea! I would buy it!
That doesn't seem to be true about the ESS one with dual speakers.
With that one it's not only a deeper more realistic sound, it is also an accurate sound of the startup and shut off, and you can hear the engine change tone and increase RPM as the throttle is pressed.
It's the one that comes with two pre-programmed sounds, and only holds two max, but it comes with a USB cord and you can go online and download virtually any sound.

I agree! I'm putting together a couple of them, I might add one (even if it's only temporary) because it may or may not be better, but we'll never know unless we try it... so LET'S TRY IT! lol Thanks for checking out the video!
hi.. my ess one+ stop working after trying to install new sound..
it said firmware invalid on RCPlus firmware.. i cant restore or upgrade the firmware..
if u have any solution do tell me..
I had a similar issue. Which cable are you connecting to the USB adapter?
@@letstryitrc direct to pc usb port.. its working now after i connect it directly to usb on motherboard
Buy a new one on Amazon. Switch out the old one return it for your money back 🤷

Anything that can handle water?
Not that I’ve found. There are some steps you can take to make these more water resistant, but I haven’t found anything that claims water proof or resistant.

dude can you make it a bit more obvious which unit you are testing? it is not exactly obvious when you switch. I think I know but it is not obvious. quite frustrating to work it out.
