I like the Video Post, I get mistaken for Latino alot, When I am Naturally Oriental and Born There.Love the Presentation, I was a Waiter and He knows how to Entertain Guest.
Anyone who says anything bad is saying it out of straight ignorance. You can't expect to find positive reviews on the Internet unless you're famous. He said my ninja not any other word because its japanese cuisine, which is super funny imo. He gave that little girl a time to remember and I laughed just as much as the og grandma!! I wanna go there just from this video of the atmosphere your family gave with this chef! FYI to everyone hes the best chef because he can put a smile on a child's face.
Nothing better than a hearty laugh from grandma. If you have a chef that can cook & make you laugh than it makes the restaurant and cook even better. Awesome!!
People who complain that this is not how you cook food. No, you don't. And serving drinks as a bartender is also just pouring the drink and putting them infront of them. If you mix a drink, you do it quickly and effectively. But there is a thing called showmanship and performance. You see some bartenders go the extra mile to make it flashy. Its not effective and it doesn't go faster and it doesn't make the drink better, but its interesting to watch while you wait. That is half the entertainment, you get a show of some nice skills that is unrelated to cooking or working behind the bar and you get your food or drink. In short. Do you want to wait 10 minutes while staring at some food being done with the guy just staring at it or would you rather have it take 13 minutes with the guy actively engaging in conversation, making small-talk and showing (If basic) skills at small-time entertainment. Like juggling.
Mauritz Nero Not that I like to correct grammar on youtube, but when you're attempting to make a point I feel I need to.. It's Fuck Off, with 2 Fs You're very welcome xx
Great seeing someone who really enjoys their job entertaining customers....I'm sure seeing the smiles he creates is rewarding in itself. Hardly looks like work at all.
4:50 Sake kicking in Mama? Smiling face.. Chinese, Japanese, look at this, Kee kee kee. That's funny BUT where's the beef? LoL! That laughter is infectious!!
i've watched so many kobe beef teppannyaki style here in youtube, and all of them are boring and makes you more hungry because of the waiting time, and i cant even finish watching those.. BUT i gotta say, this is the most awesome entertaining and most fun teppanyaki vid ive watched.
this is true. Why can't people say "This hibachi chef, who isn't japanese really, but whatevs, entertained the fuck out of my family and I, despite the chef not being particularly great at cooking in any way!". I mean, "best in the world..." is a bit much.
I've been working in Florida as a waiter for a year. No salary, only tips. Every day, I had to put my fake smile on and become a clown to make a living...felt like hustling.
Aziz Rahman no they don't. I thought so too until I worked there. 0 dollars (literally ) was written on my paycheck. EPCOT, Disney world 2009. But because all Americans know that, I got 15 to 18 % tips every time. But when I had foreigners, 0. Very frustrating since I had to pay, on sales only, the barman and the "buzz" who used to reset my tables . One day, on a table of 20 Brazilians, I gave away 20 $ from my own pocket.
You cannot really define who is the BEST CHEF alright, there are so many factors that goes into forming the genuine chef mentality and attitude, every chef has something special about him/her that counts for "making it" in the industry. Cheers!
sk8ergangsta2003 boy if you dont stop being such a bitch over one word. You heading to being a virgin the rest of ya life. Jst laugh nd have fun. Thats what the video for , bitter ass
Very funny! Chef is really cool! But what's a Torres Strait Islander doing in a Japanese restaurant! Funny how the camera man called him Jose. They say they are more Mexicans working in Asian restaurants in America than actual Asians lols! Maybe the Chefs Samoan or Maori or Tongan? But he sure is so good! Love how grandma was laughing her head off! Too much saki grandma!
Racism is alive and well on the internet. You people would never say anything like that in person. It was a funny video, that's all. Just take it for what it is people.
The woman being funny said "You're not going to strip are you?".......now just imagine if a man said that to a female chef? Hypocrisy at its best!!....women can say it , but men can't and they will be asked to leave or charged if they do.
randave jr addom thanks, i guess. Im a Filipino. Haha. But im not shy and polite. Lol. Anyone can be as perky as this guy no matter what the race. Sure he looks like a Filipino. But some Malays, some Japanese and other asian people look a like. So i cant be sure about this guy's nationality unless i see his id. But i get the other viewers. Id totally say hi to this guy in Tagalog (Filipino language) because ill think he is a Filipino before ill have second thoughts. Lol
Wow ppl. So much hate here. Can't you see thats 4 generations of a family just having a great time celebrating a bday? Chef's also engaging n entertaining. That's the whole point for a restaurant like this.
I wonder if im the only one, but THROUGH EXPERIENCE AND NO RACISM INTENDED but why do i mostly notice the blacks always laughing so hard and hysterically over a normal funny thing
I lived in Japan for eight years and agree with you. I think he is Hispanic. He is skillful but this kind of cooking was not popular in Japan when I was there.
Liam Datu, When I was in Japan Okonomiyaki ingredients were brought to you raw and you cooked them yourself on a teppan. That was fifty years ago though.
he is a Japanese from Okinawa. He lived in America for several years in the Spanish (Argentinian, Mexican etc) speaking neighbourhood. Teppanyaki is POPULAIR in Japan looong before you were borned.
The originator of the teppanyaki-style steakhouse was the Japanese restaurant chain Misono, which introduced the concept of cooking Western-influenced food on a teppan in Japan in 1945. I am older than dirt (well anyway I'm older than teppanyaki) and was born in 1941.
Ha! haha! Hilarious :) I hate to say I was wondering the same thing No Racism! I've heard from my friend who was a hibachi chef. "They tipped.........but they did not tip well." Just kidding haha.
Haha ya it sucks but working in the restaurant industry will certainly make you judge people and say mean things under your breath. I just got done reading about the NFL player who tipped 20 cents on a $65 check. Shame shame shame
SuperCuntpuncher In most of the english speaking world, tipping is not obligatory. Not even slightly. You tip when you enjoyed the food/service... if the service or food is nothing special, you don't tip... the more you know...
Lachie Black The english speaking worlds customs are staunchly different than those of the tipping systems in the english speaking American world. So you cannot compare a U.S. customary system to that of any in the UK or Australia. Tipping is not obligatory but it certainly is customary and yes you are highly encouraged to do so. You tip when you enjoy the service - you don't go back if you don't like the food. You still leave a nominal tip if the service was poor because it still isn't always the servers fault when the kitchen backs up, they are over loaded on tables, or imagine this... POOR TRAINING! Imagine if you were poorly trained then told to go work for 2.13 an hour. When you leave nothingg the waiter pays for you out of pocket which isnt fair under any condition. You damn well know going out to eat that the waiter is not compensated by the business for his or her time. That is YOUR job as the consumer. I always tip poor service a flat 5% - then I know the waiter didn't pay out of pocket for me to go out regardless of their level of service.
Lachie Black So our customary system in the US and Canada is a moral obligation because you really are a special kind of shitty person if you absolutely leave nothing at all to a person who makes no hourly wage and who rendered services for you.
It's looks like it was his first time making Japanese food. His speed, precision and flare will improve over time. He's obviously a trainee chef. I wish him the best of luck in his future career as a chef and I pray to god he is not a homosexual.
sk8ergangsta2003 Are you sure? I want to believe you but I think he doesn't give a shit about race pejoratives, so he just drops the n word when he pleases. Play it back homie!

is this the only Japanese Cook you ever seen? he isn't even a Chef...
You mean watch a video, with a title that you know is false?
Anyone who says anything bad is saying it out of straight ignorance. You can't expect to find positive reviews on the Internet unless you're famous. Didn't watch the video. I just came in to give it a thumbs down for the bullshit title.

I've been working in Florida as a waiter for a year. No salary, only tips. Every day, I had to put my fake smile on and become a clown to make a living...felt like hustling.
Well i think it's time for an upgrade
Aziz Rahman
Yes it's time for every American citizen to have a minimal salary like in Europe. So no one would have to lick people's ass to live.
I thought america have minimum wage?
Aziz Rahman
no they don't.
I always knew the over the top super friendly waitresses were so fake I never fell for it but regardless I still tip generously

I worked at a "Japanese" Hibachi and Sushi restaurant.
It was run and owned by Vietnamese.
The one my friend worked at was owned by a Chinese guy and the entire staff was hispanic.
I like this chef he talks throughout the whole time unlike the other chef they just open their mouth whil cooking the whole time

Racism is alive and well on the internet. You people would never say anything like that in person. It was a funny video, that's all. Just take it for what it is people.
so people laughing with the same angle of humor on the internet is now racism because it was laughed via the internet? i don't get it
@@ThiccNThirsty CNN told him it was racist.... therefore it has to be true.... why would CNN lie about anything.....they never do anything like that
Eating there never gets boring at all,for sure. :) thanks for posting this video.
Those laughs are contagious! Hahaha
The girl is getting way too offended lol just go with the flow
lmao, chef is samoan and who knows what else, this is $1 chinese food but cooked in front of you on a hibachi grill.
$1 won't get you nowhere near the ingredients for cooking this much in Canada or America.
$1 Chinese food is usually $1 for each entree, it's the quality i'm talking about.
Awesome!!! excellent chef indeed!!!
i like this man .. and i looooove the Grandma.God bless her laugh
The woman being funny said "You're not going to strip are you?".......now just imagine if a man said that to a female chef? Hypocrisy at its best!!....women can say it , but men can't and they will be asked to leave or charged if they do.
