I used to do volunteer work for an op shop is anazing the amount of garbage gets donated also amazing how much good stuff is rejected for sale and goes in trash
Goodwill #2. One of the last times I was at Goodwill, some of the customers smelled like #2. My friend was like "Do you smell that?" I enjoyed the video. Merry Holidays!
They might not know the prices where you are from but here in Colorado they damn well know. They pull any item with pulling and send it e-commerce bistro in the springs to hit online! If they don’t pull it then you can find nice used cowboy boots for $85 or so! Also, making videos and telling them they don’t know the price or stores like them is killing us as you know they watch this crap!
I do like a video like this. Bit of a weirdly choppy edit, wonder what's going on there, but the content is great! Would be fun to do a video harking back to this one in a year, sharing how the sales went.
Goodwill don’t how to price things but good for resellers like me I put up cameras and video game console all the time great money out if you know what looks for great video Merry Christmas to you and your family
Did you hear about the lady who picked up a vase at a Goodwill in Virginia for $3.99? It ended up being sold at an auction for over $100,000.00. It was an Italian piece by an architect . It’s quite beautiful . I’ve had some good pieces from Goodwill up here . But some of my better sales have been from small independent thrifts . I also go to farm auctions . I picked up a tap and dye set for $35.00. Flipped it for $$635.00 . I managed to identify how old it was . From the 1930’s. Merry Christmas John and Christianna. May 2024 be a wonderful year for the both of you . And a big thank you for all you do . 🎄🎄🎄🎉🎉🎉
@@Nighterlev I’m convinced that the more you thrift, the greater of your chances of finding those very special items that bring home the $$$. I live in Calgary, and with a population of around 1.5 million, there’s lots of variety up here . Best of luck to you in your thrifting . Sooner or later, something really good will come your way.
You and k need to go to the goodwill bins together. It’s a date. Star Wars is over rated from the girl who has a may fourth birthday. Happy Christmas as I suspect this is your last video for 2023.
To be able to accurately describe the plot of those movies, you must have had to call on your comprehensive knowledge gained through studying them many times! Tell me truthfully, you're a closet Darth Potterhead, aren't you? 🤣
Honest question here. Not condemning anyone, but is it ethical to buy from places like goodwill to flip and resell for a higher price? Places like goodwill are usually where people donate their unwanted items and profits go to charity, but it is also a place where people who don't have much money go to buy stuff
You hit the nail on the head. Their profits go to charity. Goodwill, for instance, funds job training and education programs from the sales of their items. St Vincent de Paul uses their profits to provide housing for the less fortunate. These thrift stores don’t exist as a place for the less fortunate to get items for cheap (as evidenced by their high prices). They exist as a fund raiser to fund their charity. The more sales they get (and the higher they can sell them for) the more good they can do. I use this same argument when resellers complain about how expensive goodwill is selling their items for.
@@haroldsicilian What's funny about the OP comment is that the Crazy Lamp Lady publishes a shopping-at-Goodwill video almost every single day of the year, and she seems to be making a pretty good living 'buying and flipping for a profit.' I doubt that she'd agree that either she or Goodwill has "destroyed reselling."
Toner sold for $45 eBay fees were $3.95 (which seems oddly low) Shipping was $9.94 Buy cost was $8.43 (with tax) Total profit was $22.68. Almost 4x my investment (factoring cost) in a matter of 24 hours. Can’t go wrong there!
Good to see you again and you're looking healthy too!
Goodwill in Oregon has become far too expensive. Like 5 less than retail for a basic solid colored shirt, or 8$ for a single knock-off golf club.
Same in Washington
Well they do now. Thanks a heap.
I used to do volunteer work for an op shop is anazing the amount of garbage gets donated also amazing how much good stuff is rejected for sale and goes in trash
I used to find those hp laser jet toners all the time in Florida. I would list them and they would sell in like 20 mins.
Love the recipe tin. Just bought it off your eBay store.
Wishing you and your better half a very Merry Christmas!!

Ok I’ll admit it modern fake foliage can actually look quite good these days and I’d be looking out for the best at Goodwill
Oh thrifting with rabbit. The good old days.

What??!?!? No PINEAPPLE??!?!? 🤬
Wait! Here's one for everyone!! 😁🍍
I found that the ink cartridges would get returned for being old when i was selling them
Merry Christmas !!!
They have good prices at your Goodwills.
I sold HP toner before I got home. So about an hour in that case.
But I've had them sell instantly
Hitting you up from Jamaica
Beat Dem Bro G
Aw, the Sackboy things in store 2 were cute, never saw them before. Too bad I live hideously far away.
Surprised you found anything………I only stop if I’m super bored! Other places in Green Bay with better prices but appears you did ok!
What, no daily pineapple? Have one on me 🍍

I'm curious, how many jokes are left on the cutting room floor?
Cracked me up. Ohh deer!
Enjoyed
You meant to say, “Oh gazelle!”
People like you make these shops raise prices and those who are struggling can't afford anything anymore.
Good for them! The more money they can sell their items for, the more money that goes to their charity and can help the less fortunate!
Now they do! lol

Might want to look up Steven Preston’s salary as Prez of International Goodwill or regions of CEO Goodwill salaries. Absolutely criminal!
SO WHYYYY tell them and everyone else. Sadly these channels have destroyed reselling
lol "Nobody Goes There Anymore, It’s Too Crowded." (Yogi Berra, and others.)
If this is a problem for resellers, they need to become better resellers....

You mostly sell stuff with free shipping so after shipping and fees you will probably take a loss on that toner.
He generally takes that kind of thing into another when listing
@@TheChristianna321 $45 toner sale minus eBay fees minus shipping cost minus goodwill cost = selling for huge loss not a good business practice.
