It's pretty amazing the lack of self-awareness some people have. The crazy thing is he didn't hit the truck just once. His front tires just kept driving until his hood is underneath the bumper and the truck is directly in front of him the entire time. What was he looking at?!?!?!? 🤷♀

Yeah. we have a LOT of coast to coast rigs going through there 24/7 so that along with SLC spreading and merging with all the other smaller surrounding cities into one whole conglomerate means we need mega sized roads in those areas. As you can see, it still don't protect from stupid though LOL

51. Is NOT the Mustang's fault (for once). He turned into the PROPER lane, singled to pass on the left a vehicle slowing in the right lane. The vehicle being passed tried to turn left from the right lane - not Mustang's fault. Moving quickly but lawfully doesn't mean reckless. Loud doesn't mean fast. Stripes don't mean fault.
You need to look up the statute "excessive acceleration."

The Mustang simply pressing on the accelerator is not against the law. @airplanemechanic9513 is probably the person in the white car who made a left from the far right and caused the accident. #26...I can't say much, I used to drive my mom's old Ford Tempo when I was 10 or 11 and she wasn't home. When I was 14 I took my dad's 1994 BMW 525i to school while he was in California on a business trip and the clutch went out as I was on my way home. It just revved up and wouldn't go anywhere, so I had to push it home 2 miles by myself, until a pizza delivery guy and a Hillsborough County Sheriff stopped to help push it. The cop was so cool, he helped push it to the front of my subdivision, and asked me who's car it was, and left. Thank God he didn't ask me for a license or anything. We got it to a mechanic and he said that the clutch was just worn out, it wasnt anything that I did, it was just old and heat checked (but my dad really shouldn't have been driving a stick because I drove it better than he did).

I couldn't figure out why your comments weren't making sense so I went back to review. When I posted about #9, I was talking about the one from San Antonio, the car coming from a parking lot that gets caught up on the pickup truck wheel and bounces lol. The first guy looks like he may have just fallen asleep. If you watch the van closely, as he braked pretty hard, it appears the right rear tire may have locked up/slid on the wet road and that is what caused loss of control.

So the guy hauling a trailer speeds up from a constant 48 to (at least) 53 to keep the other guy from merging, then deliberately pits him, and *he's* making like he's the victim? At best it was "mutual combat", but the other guy did have the room to squeeze in.
You don’t have to let anyone merge, as someone merging it’s your responsibility to speed up or slow down accordingly to get on the highways

You can see the loose gravel and how there is a drop from the pavement to the gravel which could have caused the left pull on the steering wheel.

#55- 19:42 Why did the cop cite the Jeep? The Jeep was maintaining it's lane and the dump truck turned into his lane side swiping the Jeep!
My guess is that since the dump truck wasn't completely out of the lane for the jeep to pass, and that's even if the cop saw the video/accident. The cop would have just based it on the stories they told if he hadn't seen the video/accident.
There is only one lane, the smaller one is a bike lane. (even though it was ending) The jeep tried an illegal pass on the bike lane as the dump truck was slowing down for a right turn. The only question I have that is hard to see is if the dump truck had its turn signal on because if he didn't, the Jeep could possibly have mistaken the wide right turn for a merge into the left turn lane.

Edit: I went back and watched it again. He was not in the bike lane and the dump truck was in the center lane (if there was only one lane).
