Watch out for the bolt on the passenger side motor mount, it passes through to inside the fuel pump housing area. That hole is used to put a longer bolt in to hold up the fuel pump push rod to make it easier to get the pump plunger in under the push rod. Once the pump is installed you remove the long bolt and replace it with a short bolt with sealant on the threads so it does not leak oil. If the bolt Nathan has in the motor mount is to long it get in the way of the fuel pump arm and push rod. Just an observation take it or throw it away 😂
Sincerity and humility make your channel a true gem. Keep shining.
🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕❤🙇♂️🤭😊
@Ftiger8229you do realize this is a bot right?
What a surprise! Sanding again it starting to get old a 6 year old could do it go to the next level on your pod cast try how to clean windows or how to put air in your tires it would be an upgrade
Don't like it Don't watch
Personally I would get rid of the original single stage master cylinder opting for a modern dual phase one. You have the room for it on the firewall and not only would be much safer but , it would also rid the bottom of the car from all the clutter and the difficulties of doing maintenance on it. If you have a parts vehicle in your collection with a new newer style dual phase master cylinder on it this would keep costs down as well. Love the car, I think it really cool and the work you and the boys ( Nate & Doug ) is fantastic.
I'll second that! Bad feelin' when you're free wheelin' without the juice!
Hi Chad, Jolene, Nate, & Fina, I hope everyone is doing well today. Chad I am glad to see you doing a little bit on the Bugatti. Also, is it time for a little road trip to find some Headlight bezels for the Ford? We are really hoping to see it painted before you leave for Australia for a month. Nate you are going along good on the Terraplane the engine & tranny are really looking good as you move forward on it. Jolene nice work on the camera as always & on the production of the channel. The viewership continues to grow and I am really happy for you! Fina is such a smart girl I noticed when Chad was welding she did no even look in his direction she must know that it would hurt her eyes to look at the welding light!
❤ Jolene it's ever so lovely to see you and the Bugatti is moving along step by step . Chad and Nathan will get it done 👍 . Hudson looking good engine in and that's soon to be a runner . Things are a hopping in the shop love it . Have a wonderful evening you guys 💓 enjoy your Sunday Funday .
Greetings from Adelaide in South Australia where shortly you and Jolene will be visiting. Looking forward to meeting you both, even briefly. I have been watching your videos for a long while now and for some reason I feel deeply connected with the Terraplane, so much so that I pulled out my mother's first photo album when she first arrived in Australia from Holland in 1951 and I came across a small black and white photograph of my mechanic Dad and his Dutch mechanic mate working on an old car, and by looking at various Terraplanes in Google I was able to see that it was indeed a 1937 Hudson Terraplane. And I am sitting in front of the car as a two year old holding my teddy bear (which incidentally I dropped in the Suez Canal when we went back to Holland in 1956, in retrospect my first traumatic memory!) So every day I watch your update to the Terraplane with excitement and I look forward to watching you drive down the road in beautiful Nova Scotia where I too drove my 1973 AMC Hornet back in 1984 for one month, and what a lovely long drive it was along the coast road. Great job Nathan working on the motor. Well done everyone including Doug and Fina the Aussie cattle dog.
Man I was hoping to see the paint revealed finally guess I have to turn into another day good to see progress on everything I guess hope To see some paint done before they go to Australia would hate to wait the whole summer just see the 50 get painted that would be a bummer just like waiting years to see the Bugatti finished
I Can't wait to see the Bugatti all painted and finished .It Shows the Talent Chad Really has to be able to build a car like That for Joline. I'm Excited for them both to see it all Finished Up and Them Driving it down the road enjoying the Car .Keep Up The Amazing Hard Work .l Really enjoy watching the Builds .
Don’t hold your breath waiting on the Bugatti getting finished am waiting on it for 5 years or more, well any car to be finished I suppose
@@gerard394 I agree with you, this time i hope there would be some work on that Bugatti, but as usual!, a few minutes...no thumbs up this time either.
@@petercarlsson8181 to be honest I think their working on the cars because of the snow outside
It will never be driven or finished that car has been milked on this channel for years to make money 💴 plus the fuel tank is about 4 gallons have fun running out of gas ⛽️
LOOKING GOOD EVERYONE!
Never get tired of the Bugatti
Hey Hiltz crew, a great Monday evening to watch good stuff. Paint the Bugatti and watch the Daytona 500. All at the same time👏🏻👍👏🏻👍
That's way win I or someone is doing mockups you must have everything on the engine like water pump auatnater distributor manifold if the auto going to have power steering put on the pump and the radiator hoses on then set the radiator in with at least two bolts it would be best if you can use the transmission that is going in the auto that way you can fit the mounts in place that way when you put the auto to gether everything thing fits perfectly just like it did on mockup . I wonder why 🤔 when someone is thinking on changing the headlights on the car way didn't he get all the parts first like the headlights bucket's and the headlights as well even if the headlights didn't work after the car was painted you could put in the new headlight bulbs . Me when i am making something that I need to cut and weld I use a marker and mark the side i am going to weld the other piece to it so when you get to the welder scent guess your self if you are doing it right that will save u lots of time an money. Marker's is your best friend when you are fabricating
The bolt that goes in the right motor mount to block make sure it is a short bolt because it will lock up the fuel pump rod
Might be done in the next 10 years
Whatever! I suppose you think you're better!
Not at all. Been watching for years and haven't seen nothing really finished yet.
Another thing I like about Chad is he does not edit out mistakes [ Like most would ], The only type of people who make no mistakes are those who make no decisions. Thanks for keeping it real
Yup, and you know what you call people that don't make mistakes? Liars😉
Good job nathan.
YES 👍 always good to see progress on the Bugatti 😍
We really like watching your show, but the one that likes it the most is our Rottweiler Rowdi, she looks to see Fina everyday. As soon as she hears Chad's voice she is in front of the TV looking for Fina. As soon as she sees her her tail wags and she runs to get closer. If Fina goes off screen, Rowdi will run to that side to follow her. We really like the way that all of the work that has gone into the 50 ford. We have had 2 of them and Chad, Doug, and Nate have done a good job. Really like the way you have redone your shop. Rowdi says please show more of Fina, we really love her.
That engine in the Hudson is looking saw eet!
Chad has more energy, then ten men, amazing
Great content great cars
Some how I missed the entire build of the Bugatti. But now that it’s ready to begin the painting I will try to keep up. I do have a couple of questions I’m curious about. What are the fins that run over the top of the body and fenders ? Looks like the car was built in two halves and bolted together ! Also how easy is it to get in the car on the drivers side. Seems pretty tight.! 🤔
Great show, keep them coming
Nice , awsome show ❤
Nice to see some more progress on the Bugatti!
It's all coming together very nicely... can't wait to see them in paint! Fina is looking relaxed.
Like the different projects keeps me interested
Great video one step closer to getting Bugatti painted
About time chad jolene has been patiently waiting 👍
It would be nice to see the Bugatti finished and painted will be fantastic keep up the good work chad and crew
The thing I appreciate about Chad is when makes a mistake, he’s confident enough to laugh at himself, true character of a forgiving person, if we had more men and women like that ,the world would be a nicer place live in
Are the scoops on backwards on the carbs?

Do you have finished projects?
When it's time for the bugatti to be completely painted I wanna see jolene do the squirting of the paint. We've seen her weld and now let's see her squirting. I think with some guidance from Chad she could paint as well.
Poorly worded
The Bugatti, Chads masterpiece
I was hoping to see some paint flying today. Still don't understand why putting the windshield in before paint, bit it's not my car. Jmo
He said it's only temporary, as he 'can't get a good read' of the dash and steering column. (First 5 minutes in.)
@@moyadapne968 he actually said after it's installed he will just tape it up before painting.
@@charlielemmons5525 Damn, you're right. I ASSumed too much.
The channel is doing very nice. I like the multiple builds
Yay! Go for it Chad 👁 🐅 👌
When you go to weld a piece of metal to another piece of metal all you have to do is mark the side you want to weld it to with an X, then you will never weld it on the wrong side. As soon as Chad started welding those 2 pieces of metal together I could see he was welding it on the wrong side, and I was yelling through the computer to him that he was putting it on the wrong side.
getting all the little bits done .they can seem silly things but always need to be completed for the stages to move .great as always thanks guys and Qj
Bad Newfie at work again , if something can be made upside down , the Newfie will find a way , cheers
glad you're back on the Bugatti
It was great to watch the progress being made on a the 3 unique cars in the shop today. Chad isn't afraid to start over with a metal part for the rear side window . Details these these items are all about patience and trial and error and diligence . Well done Team Hiltz.
When using that Bevery shear keep the good side on the left and it won’t get bent up as bad.
Chad and crew mixing it up today!
Be good to see bugatti come together
Excitement excitement excitement can’t wait till it’s done.
A Joy to see your Craftsmanship
they do nice work
Would like to see some more of the Bugatti hauler🍀✌️
Coming along well 😊
Looking forward to see this , keep up the amazing work dude.
Great builds
Great assortment of content
You better make sure that top bolt on motor mount to block is not too long, or it will hit the fuel pump rod, could tear the cam shaft up
Chad and Jolene are Cooler Than Dang It!
Wow the shop sure gets messy in a hurry
Yes yes yes thanku love the bugatti
love the bit on the bugatti,,shame its not finished ,,its only taken a number of years so thats not so bad for Jolene to wait is it..
The Engine is looking Fantastic in this Build.
Glad to see you finally spending some time on Jolene’s car tonight. She must be real happy.😊 ❤
You're on it Chad keep it going.
Nice job CHAD. Hi Nate Fina and Jolene miss Doug 😢❤😊
will it ever get finished?
great episode 👍👍😎🍀🍀
So the whole car will be painted with the window already installed?... I'm not getting why paint the windshield area with a can. I thought the windshield would be installed after the body is painted.
I'm glad I found your channel. I use to watch your series on motortrend's network. What were the two chopped bodies in front of your shop back then. Fords, Mercs? Keep up the great work.
You did it Chad and what a fantastic car that bug as well as the 50 Ford great cars
One step closer on all of these three
I agree there should be paint even in places we might never see. If it would come that way from the factory, it just makes sense even on a custom.
GO NATHAN !!!
Eye protection when welding?
Great team !! Great work!!
VAMOS CAMPEON
Painting has been a long time coming. Thanks for sharing your day, Does Jolene play hoops too? Id like to see her play Chad a game of Horse.
Step by step on the cars...liking it...cya tomorrow
A great shop. Nobody judges the other on boo boos.
Watching from the Philippines
Widows take a certain skill and prep to make sur the seal and fit right and expensive if you make a mistake urathane removed certain problems that happened by using butyl to sealthem and the rubber mounted windshields pop out on first roll over so install a rool bar id you are a fast driver.
Hi everybody
You know that is a 80s 305 engine with the knock sensor on the side of the block. ESC. Electronic spark control, came with a computer. It might want to knock if you don't use that setup. Like timing knock
Hi guys
Come to Detroit Autorama, this March
Progress all the way around. Love that Hudson.
So do I love the Hudson Terra Plane old style sedan, It definitely looks like it came from a gangster movie on the south side of Chicago .
Obviously I missed the beginning of the Bugatti work, cutting the Volvo etc. I'll have to dig that out and watch. The Hudson is looking good back there!
Got everything going in the right direction. I am anxious to see the Ford painted. I am stuck between Classic black with a white interior or laid back classic white with a powder blue interior. I know its Jolenes call just throwing it out there. Have a good one.
Nice 👍
Jolene’s car looks great Chad 👍
Turn your spray can upside down to clear the nozzle or it will block up
just a fyi short leg small block chevys are pre70 have specific pulleys and brackets for alternator and powersteering pumps
Cant wait🤩🤩
👍
Great progress…
No respirator?
Nice job Chad and Nate Good video Jolene
Finna is sweet!!❤❤❤
Very enjoyable channel,
