Kraven is such a savage that he roasts Electro, despite being probably the most powerful member of the Sinister Six. I'm honestly amazed Kraven was able to take down Electro, since his powers could've immediately killed Kraven and his team, how did they even take him down?
Electro can easily be countered if you have the brain power. Spider-Man proves this time and time again. Add the fact that Kraven has the wealth and resources to make things to take these villains down, and it becomes apparent how he did it. Plus, Kraven is strong enough to tank attacks from Peter without the symbiote, which is insane. Whatever was in that potion he took helped him out immensely
This is the best representation of Kraven. A complete savage who's focused and determined to kill he's prey at all cost. Truly a golden character in the entire game.
Totally agree!! I was hesitant going into the game, but was instantly hooked on him! Really wish the game stayed on his story more instead of that insane pivot to the underwhelming and repetitive story with the symbiotes.

We saw him throw like 10 shipping containers like nothing during the chase and he has enough juice just to make explosions through steel and concrete. A rubber suit isn't gonna stop him just evaporating you. All his men and robots use metal and Kraven may have super strength but I think lighting shocking him or having heavy metal things thrown at him from the air would be too much for him. He would need to get the drop on him but even then we've seen that he does that and then tries a straight up fight because he wants to die in battle not just stab them from behind
Honestly they should've killed off Rhino instead of Electro and Shocker. Rhino was already featured in both the previous games and didn’t have much to add. His character is also consistent with Kraven's animal theme. Electro and Shocker could've been explored more

I think I may have a guess to how Kraven beat Electro. He mentioned about using his tech after his defeat. I wanna believe Kraven used some sort of special EMP. And I think that was how he was able to beat him so easily which is why he said it was a waste of his time. Because he put all that effort and beat Electro without any problem. The proof of that EMP is those things the Hunter Drones later have in the game which shuts down our web tech.
You know what I think? Since we technically didn’t see Kraven kill him, maybe he only thinks he did. Maybe Kraven caused him to overload and explode somehow. But I think part of his consciousness is still out there, and he’ll return as the new Blue Electro in either the third game or a DLC.

I remember being shocked that the Miles Morales game had the guts to ice Rhino. I remember seeing Scopion's death in this and was equally shocked, but it made thematic sense since y'know, Kraven the Hunter. Vulture was also equally thematically appropriate since it's another animal themed villain. Then I got sad seeing what happened to Shocker, since he was forced into crime against his will by the Demons. ...But Electro kinda tipped it over the edge in my ability to suspend my sense of disbelief...it kinda went overboard considering Electro is typically the most powerful of the Sinister Six. If there was one nitpick I had with the story, it's this.

Kraven hunting Kurt, then kidnapping Tombstone and even beating the black suit Spidey to make him loose control over symbiote makes sense to some extent. Though black suit could pummel him easily but ya it is understandable. But kidnapping Li and killing electro is kinda over the line

To me, he's like a C tier before Spider man 2, and I'm tempted to put him around the same tier as Spot before Spiderverse, perhaps even below that. This Kraven however, he is a monster. He kills half of the Sinister 6, kills Spiderman, and goes toe to toe with Venom, twice. He's easily the best version of Kraven to date.

Honestly, I doubt he's 100% dead. You can't just kill energy, maybe Kraven just incapacitated him for a while or left him for dead (It wouldn't surprise me if Electro comes back in a third game and it's revealed he's barely alive in low-energy mode or something, and either Miles or Peter have to fight him or help him).
I saw one person theorize that his death at the hands of Kraven will inadvertently lead to the pure energy form Doc Ock promised him in the first game, like his physical body dies and only then does he find out "oh shit I can live on as pure energy". A bit like his soul leaving his body.

I'd assume it's like the original comics where he just generates electricity but needs a harness to conduct and control it, but the harness on the table looks to be generating electricity as well so I have no idea.
I just can't think of a reason at all to decide to kill the best of Spider-Man's villains off screen or in the trailer tease that Kraven had a trophy hit list of every Villan that wanted to kill Spider-Man in the first game and just skip past showing anything to just let people learn what happened in a audio recording.

I don’t understand why people think it’s unrealistic for Kraven to kill Electro. Spider-Man and other heroes are nerfed by trying to keep their villains alive. Electro hasn’t fought someone tough trying to kill him. Any human sniper would take him out easy.
How Kraven most likely defeated 4 of the sinister six; Electro, he disrupted his energy flow or lured him somewhere that couldn't let him generate enough of a charge to fight back. Vulture, honestly i wanna say his illness finally took its toll and made him open for a kill blow. Scorpion, we already know. Shocker, used low temps to weaken the suits protection forcing shocker to rely on his wits. Yet the fact Shocker was the one who came the closest to giving Kraven his perfect hunt speaks volumes
I was so shocked that insomniac killed off electro scorpion and a whole bunch of others from Spider-Man's rogue gallery in this game and it's funny too cuz electro is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains

Certainly some potential of that with both Symbiotes still running around post game, as well as a certain psychopath running around with a symbiote that could do just that.
They were killing them off for multiple reasons. 1). To show how deadly Kraven is. 2.) To build tension in the story that no one is safe. 3.)They don’t intend use the Sinister Six again. 4.) Insomniac is concluding their take on Spider-Man in this universe with Spider-Man 3.

Killing someone like Scorpion on screen, who we also saw being captured, is totally fine, but they went too far too lazily with stuff like Shocker, Vulture AND Electro being captured off-screen AND killed off-screen. It's just a silly waste of characters and it doesnt even serve the story to just do "RIP a bunch of characters who dont even appear in this game. Kraven's a badass huh?!" We get it. I've played through the game twice (still no NG+ tho bc they perplexingly didnt launch the game with this mode) and I never even saw that table with Electro's gear. In part bc I'm just trying to breeze through the MJ stealth segments as rapidly as possible bc they suck. They sucked in the first game and they still suck, and now they're being used to cram in plot details that are completely unearned & unaddressed anywhere else.

Honestly, I doubt he's 100% dead. You can't just kill energy, maybe Kraven just incapacitated him for a while or left him for dead (It wouldn't surprise me if Electro comes back in a third game and it's revealed he's barely alive in low-energy mode or something, and either Miles or Peter have to fight him or help him).
I saw one person theorize that his death at the hands of Kraven will inadvertently lead to the pure energy form Doc Ock promised him in the first game, like his physical body dies and only then does he find out "oh shit I can live on as pure energy". A bit like his soul leaving his body.
That would be cool.
It didn’t seem like this electro was pure energy though. Just a guy with electric power, like miles but taken to a higher level.
@@sleepy9102 Honestly it was never even made super-clear how much of his power in this universe is genuine and how much of it is the tech he wears. I'd assume it's like the original comics where he just generates electricity but needs a harness to conduct and control it, but the harness on the table looks to be generating electricity as well so I have no idea.

I just can't think of a reason at all to decide to kill the best of Spider-Man's villains off screen or in the trailer tease that Kraven had a trophy hit list of every Villan that wanted to kill Spider-Man in the first game and just skip past showing anything to just let people learn what happened in a audio recording.

kraven probably used something to make him temporarily lose his powers or not escape or some other scientific shit that makes his fight with electro more fair , dude can go invisible and even managed to find scorpions cure before he killed him .
I don’t understand why people think it’s unrealistic for Kraven to kill Electro. Spider-Man and other heroes are nerfed by trying to keep their villains alive. Electro hasn’t fought someone tough trying to kill him. Any human sniper would take him out easy.

How Kraven most likely defeated 4 of the sinister six; Electro, he disrupted his energy flow or lured him somewhere that couldn't let him generate enough of a charge to fight back. Vulture, honestly i wanna say his illness finally took its toll and made him open for a kill blow. Scorpion, we already know. Shocker, used low temps to weaken the suits protection forcing shocker to rely on his wits.
Yet the fact Shocker was the one who came the closest to giving Kraven his perfect hunt speaks volumes

I was so shocked that insomniac killed off electro scorpion and a whole bunch of others from Spider-Man's rogue gallery in this game and it's funny too cuz electro is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains

He gave respect to Shocker and thought Vulture could be a challenge. But, he has such pure contempt and disgust for Electro that he spat on him after he killed him.

Genuinely how did he take down Electro. The others I can see Kraven beat but Electro could fully take on Kraven AND some of his men with no real major problems
I get Electro isn’t invincible but out of all the villains that Kraven killed Electro seems the least believable. Even if Electro’s losing he can still fly away, definitely had to use some special weapons if he actually managed to kill him which is the case here.
I really didn't expect him to kill electro, he is one of the best and famous villians of spiderman, probably the second best in the sinister six, kraven killed electro, shocker, scorpion, rhino, vulture like they're nothing. This guy was a savage, huge respects to kraven. He became one of my favorites after this game. And the fact that he just wanted to die. But he would not be killed by an inferior, only an equal may taste his last breath

I can understand kraven being able to kill vulture and scorpion and shocker but for someone as powerful as electro we really should have gotten to see that fight
If Kraven took Electro down that easy then it sounds like Electro's over confidence and reliance on his abilities cost him his life by underestimating Kraven's skill.
You know. Now that I think about it, being a hunter, he probably got the drop on Electro when his guard was down. Either that or he really did overpower him somehow.
Man Literally killed 4 different. Members of the sinister sixs group. I'm guessing the reason why he was doing this It's because you're trying to look for a prey that could Be worthy to fight kraven. And to kill him If they did not kill him. I'm guessing they would get killed. Even green goblins crazier than him. Craving kills people that are worth or not worthy. For sport Green goblins, just the one who just loves Torturing Spider-Man for what he is.
We don’t see how electro died just that his tech so no longer with him so he could come back in his blue lightning form or pure energy form.

Certainly some potential of that with both Symbiotes still running around post game, as well as a certain psychopath running around with a symbiote that could do just that.
They were killing them off for multiple reasons.
1). To show how deadly Kraven is.
2.) To build tension in the story that no one is safe.
3.)They don’t intend use the Sinister Six again.
4.) Insomniac is concluding their take on Spider-Man in this universe with Spider-Man 3.

He has actual superpowers, Peter even mentions that he's the first super-powered villain he fought. No tech to exploit, just an electricity man, and all that comes with it.

If he went after Scorpion, Shocker, Martin Li, Vulture and even Electro, why wasn't it because of Rhino, who at least is stronger than Scorpion, Vulture and Shocker? Apart from that, we were only shown how he captured Scorpion and Martín, we were not shown how he also captured Shocker, Electro and Vulture, all three of whom were also on a raft, Rhino was the only one missing.

Killing someone like Scorpion on screen, who we also saw being captured, is totally fine, but they went too far too lazily with stuff like Shocker, Vulture AND Electro being captured off-screen AND killed off-screen. It's just a silly waste of characters and it doesnt even serve the story to just do "RIP a bunch of characters who dont even appear in this game. Kraven's a badass huh?!" We get it.
I've played through the game twice (still no NG+ tho bc they perplexingly didnt launch the game with this mode) and I never even saw that table with Electro's gear. In part bc I'm just trying to breeze through the MJ stealth segments as rapidly as possible bc they suck. They sucked in the first game and they still suck, and now they're being used to cram in plot details that are completely unearned & unaddressed anywhere else.

I am honestly surprised Kraven managed to kill Electro so easily. I mean, Electro is one of the strongest villains Spider-Man fought. I would have loved to see Kraven tango with Rhino and Kingpin.
It seems that everyone is forgetting that in this Spider-Man universe, all the characters we have seen are at their best moment and have been doing this for a long time. Knowing that, you already know why Kraven was able to defeat the Sinister Six.
