Nice easier when you hold down analog go into rage mode and tap box combos with the venom and he is toast.

If you go by a roof and he don’t see you then you could use you sneak attack thing and take him down in one hit

I was able to beat him fairly easily by staying in the starting area and hopping on the roof of that little decrepit building and doing hit and run attacks on him by hitting him from behind and occasionally using the venom punch. Worked out pretty well

All late but but if you press ⭕️ to dodge, immediately press X to do a second dodge and you should be able to jump out of the way of the heavy attack like at 0:55.
But you have to press the circle button first.
It’s really useful at dodging immediate heavy attacks that follow after you dodge a normal one from enemies. Just writing because not sure if people knew. I always see people play this game but never do that second dodge that gets you out the way

Just press R3 and L3 to activate the vemon punch and you should be fine. But try hit him right away before the bar goes down.
