I know there’s a lot of scumbags who say they are Christians and treat others poorly but there are also a lot of us who are genuine and it does hurt to be mocked and made fun of just like it would any other religion. On my Instagram, I drew this one person who requested I draw them for one of my video series. So I drew them! I posted it and my mom of course immediately goes to her profile, and calls me down to meet her, and shames me for drawing her because she looks satanic?! None of her photos are inappropriate, but she edits her photos very dark with lighting. I had to like lecture my mom on how that isn't even satanic, and she doesn't listen to me whatsoever. It's so sad that ppl have religious trauma but when it's catholic... I don't really put it past them. I know this Filipino woman who was not catholic, she was cut out of every single event for foreigners and just irrelevant things. ‼️my drama‼️ i dont know how to keep this in 1 sentence but like this girl in my class who is known to be the teacher's pet, the quiet good girl and the topper turned out to be an attention seeker. she literally took a red pen and drew some fake sh lines on her wrist and then started flexing that she c*t herself even tho we literally saw her use the red pen. and when we confronted her she literally started denying it. and also she posted a pic of a girl from pinterest on her story and acted as if it was her. the caption was like "do i look good in this or no" like girl that aint even u. she switched the topic when we brought it up to her.

i want to speak as a christian, firstly i’m so sorry for any kind of trauma you experienced from the church. this applies to everyone reading my comment. i’m positive that you didn’t deserve any of that, no one ever does. the church SHOULD BE a safe place, no matter who you are. many christian’s like to use our religion as an excuse to pass judgement on people, even though we are clearly told that it is not our place to pass that judgement. i’m so very sorry that people refuse to see this. as christian’s, i think that we need to respect others, regardless of whether we agree with them or not. so with that, ben, thank you for defending us. you’re truly one of the good ones :)

Honestly - he isn't only offending Christians, he is also offending Muslims because Jesus is one of the important characters in Islam, he also mocked other religious stories that are shared between Christians and Muslims just to get more popular which he did- in Arabian countries we don't even know who he is just a few know him or listened to a sing or two, but after this album, everyone knows him now

The thing about people calling anything that's a little odd 'satanic' is so real. I'm an artist, who is not religious even though my entire family is. On my Instagram, I drew this one person who requested I draw them for one of my video series. So I drew them! I posted it and my mom of course immediately goes to her profile, and calls me down to meet her, and shames me for drawing her because she looks satanic?! None of her photos are inappropriate, but she edits her photos very dark with lighting. I had to like lecture my mom on how that isn't even satanic, and she doesn't listen to me whatsoever. Just thought I would share that to relate to what Ben said. Great video btw, you were very respectful to everyone,

It's so sad that ppl have religious trauma but when it's catholic... I don't really put it past them. I know this Filipino woman who was not catholic, she was cut out of every single event for foreigners and just irrelevant things. Honestly, I've kind of detached myself from being a Christian 'cause I don't want my entire being to revolve around it. I don't think God wants that either.
my whole mothers side of the family is catholic and especially my nan is super religious and she’s so sad that people are misrepresenting christianity and catholicism, because she is not homophobic, racist, conservative or anything like that but i always feel so awkward telling people i’m religious because i’m so terrified that i’m going to be judged, which is completely how it shouldn’t be. people should be able to believe in whatever they believe in without feeling ashamed. thanks for this ben!!

It sounds like you need time to reflect and make a decision. Imo let them know that you don't feel comfortable being friends with them directly. There are levels of "friendship" and not everyone is meant to be your close friend. Use your best judgement.
