as a younger sister, whose older brother watches andrew tate daily, this made me realise how much of a bad person my brother has become. andrew tate is putting in his head that women belong in the kitchen, women suck they are useless ecc, he already had this idea in his head, cause of my father, i remember when we were younger, our mom forced us to wash the kitchen, and for the whole time he complained about how this is a woman’s jobs. it honestly shocked me. i personally think that andrew tate is an awful influence to male teen, cause since he watches this guy, he went as far as hitting and saying that i’m weak (he goes to the gym daily) i doubt that he would do that if i were a guy. i know he won’t change, and it’s sad.

i am 16 and a junior in high school and i just want to mention that there are so many guys at my school (literally the majority) that really respect him and it just goes to show how much his videos are targeted to impressionable teens. These young boys just want an older male role model that can tell them they’re perfect and that they can be masculine in ways that they always wanted to, but his advice is toxic and harmful.
Being masculine isn’t about being the strongest or toughest or the most “alpha”. Men should build eachother up but we’re the ones tearing eachother down and shaming ourselves for not being masculine enough. You’re masculine by just being yourself and being a good and respectful person. You’re not masculine because you can lift more or how awfully you treat women. Young mens mental health is awful and the reason for that is people like Tate putting a toxic voice in their head to constantly battle each other and themselves and to compare themselves to other men.
For people who honestly like Tate, I wish you can see how toxic his advice is. Get actual advice from someone who has a background on helping people with mental health, not some stuck up millionaire. Stop fighting each other and putting down the opposite gender and the same gender. You’re masculine just by being you, not being a toxic man or putting other men down for not being “masculine” enough.
If there’s anything I want people to talk about it’s how these young men are going to Tate to help build themselves up, but he’s like an abusive father feeding his child with awful teachings. He’s hooking these young boys in with teachings on how to better your mental health which is a great message but he has to couple that in with being a better man than the others and how to treat women like trash. My dad loves him and makes me listen to him. He told me women should "stay home and be women!" because the divorce rate went up since we got the right to vote. But then again, he also thinks we're in the matrix. My teachers from my small christian school were the same. I transferred there in the middle of 7th and graduated in 8th because I was getting bullied and my mom works there. The tiny Lutheran school was basically a cult, there was only 7 total middle-schoolers and we had word of God everyday. During word of God, my principal/teacher (who was a man) told us he hates his kids, wife, us, his job, his mom's dead, etc. He'd make us cry and yell at us, make us feel guilty, and then bring us "peace" only thru God. My sense of self was so warped in 7th and 8th grade that i couldn't remember my personality (my personality was that school's beliefs) and i forced my mom to go to Church with me every Sunday because I couldn't drive. They also told us that women have to submit to men, but never the other way around, and that "opposing the gays and adulterous sinners is you letting your God-given light shine". This is what I mean when I say I have daddy issues (which goes WAY deeper to me still being in contact with his ex gf who I watched him beat) and religious trauma. Not that my dad makes me do chores and a Christian online told me I'm going to hell. No hate but I'm SO sick of people using those terms loosely. But anyways there's my vent have a GREAT day!
