Inspired by this video, went to Marata Darshan today and reached around 2 pm.. 1. food was fresh under preparation and would take time. (wait time was about 35-45 minutes) 2. Only meals (both Chapathi & Ragi meals) and mutton kurma available. (2.45 pm) 3. Hemavathi Amma is at work around the clock. Happy to see her. 4. Identifying the place using Google maps was tricky. Advise is take adjacent road after main entrance of shifa hospital. 5. However, when the food arrived it is was literally HEAVEN! And the people there including untiring Hemavathi Amma serve you with all LOVE like Angels. My 5 stars. Hence the advise is to reach early 12.30 pm to 1 p.m for all varieties! 😀
11:41 Ch.Shivaji Maharaj may have eaten Ragi Mudde. He had spent quiet sometime in banglore. Just a guess, because shivaji raje's diet has never been mentioned in any records.

I used to have food here from 2003 to 2009 almost for 6yrs, best food, before i moved to another office which was far from queens road. I used to still go on and off and i still go when i find opportunity.

Ragi Mudde is also present in Most of the costal (Konkan) part of Maharashtra like Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Raigad, Satara, Thane Districts & in Goa. We called it as "Nachani Chi Bhakri"

What’s best about your reviews is that you call all dishes by their names in the local language. When Kripal Ji gives 9 and above for all dishes, this restaurant is a keeper.. !!! The owners are lovely people. So humble and level-headed.

They used to have a small outlet in Malleshwaram 6/7th cross.. am not sure if its still there. Malleshwaram which is normally associated with veg outlets this little stall turned out to be a real hidden gem for us non veg lovers. Back in 2008-09 when I was living there I used to frequently visit the place. Naveen too had more hair and less moustache back then but the smile on his face hasn't vanished at all. I think he'll be able to identify me if I visit the main branch sometime.. Maratha darshan was always on my mind to recommend to this channel but doubted if they'd consider.. happy to know it got your attention, Kripal. Must try place for all naati style food lovers!

They used to have a small outlet in Malleshwaram 6/7th cross.. am not sure if its still there. Malleshwaram which is normally associated with veg outlets this little stall turned out to be a real hidden gem for us non veg lovers. Back in 2008-09 when I was living there I used to frequently visit the place. Naveen too had more hair and less moustache back then but the smile on his face hasn't vanished at all. I think he'll be able to identify me if I visit the main branch sometime.. Maratha darshan was always on my mind to recommend to this channel but doubted if they'd consider.. happy to know it got your attention, Kripal. Must try place for all naati style food lovers!
