It had been a while since I’d savoured a good military (local) style oota (meal). I had heard on and off about this 10-year-old eatery located at Devanahalli on the outskirts of Bengaluru, but never ventured out given the distance to be traversed for a meal. And boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised when I finally did. The place may be rustic, but the food that’s dished out by Suresh Gowda and his family in the kitchen here is the sort that makes the 50-km drive here worthwhile. I savoured their biryanis, meaty fries and the curries that have earned this military hotel a strong fan following.

Hello Sir. Thanks for your videos. I relish the taste just by seeing your videos. Due to some reason I could not go and eat outside, but I watch your videos and experience as if I am tasting the food. One observation, many eateries especially serving Dosa, keep the Ghee packet close to the tava to keep it in molten form. These Ghee packets come in Plastic cover. This poses high risk of plastic entering into the food. With the kind of influence you bring in, I urge you to raise this point with the eateries and concerned food security officials.

Hi Kripal, please start your own restaurant/ ask someone to start restaurant in Singapore. I am basically from mangalore. I miss the Karnataka authentic food.. when you give review of the food I note down most of the places. But when we visit India we don’t get time to visit those places. Please ask your friends to start one here

I’ve made it clear in this video that I didn’t fancy the lollipop too much. And because we research the eateries and dishes to savour, we typically pick what people usually like.

Firstly kripaal please know the difference between chicken/mutton palao and chicken/mutton Biriyani, they're not the same ..... The mutton they use is very tough and chewy and taste is very basic, you can find that kind of food in urban Bangalore, you need not go soo far to eat such flavorless food.

in telugu they say muddha……in Kannada they say muddhe…..it’s dose not dosa there is no meaning for dosa it’s called by northern part of Indians
