Omg! You’re playing with both hands up in the air! I haven’t seen a concertina player that plays like that on UA-cam yet! That’s the same way my dnd bard plays. I’ve been looking for performances as inspiration for how my character plays. This is wonderful ❤️
Thanks a lot! In the video I was actually imitating the great English player John Kirkpatrick’s playing. Please don't miss his playing: ua-cam.com/video/WH2t2Sz49Jg/v-deo.html
Your playing is magnificent! So smooth, I can tell just from listening your dedication and love for the concertina! The waltz especially nearly had me standing up and dancing!
You don't just play the concertina, you are dancing with it. The music is marvelous, and the preformence is stunning! Could you make a tutorial for this one? Gald I found you on UA-cam, new sub here😊.
Thank you so much but, I think I'm not even close to accept this title! I've tried many of your performances according to the notes on your website, I'm far from being able to even simplistically reproduce for most of the tunes. Compared to those great players in Japan like you, Miura, Ryo, etc., we the Chinese players still have a way to go! 诚惶诚恐,他日倘有寸进,亦受先生恩泽矣。
Your words sound humble and modesty. I really admire your extravagant brilliance and persistent efforts which make your progress so fast. The more noble, the more humble. 您太谦虚了!您拉琴拉得这么精彩,自强不息,进步神速。真是,人越高尚越谦虚!😀
@@lazynetter8093 Not only did I, as I say, just discover your videos, but Barleycorn was recently news to me and I've been browsing their site. (Too pricey for me right now, and I'm more drawn to English anyway, but some of you guys are impressive.)
Holy crap! How do you play so easily without resting the concertina on your leg? If I do that with mine my fingers keep slipping cuz it's too heavy. Great performance btw!
Wow 😮

I strongly recommend Gary Cover’s Anglo tutors and tune books. Those are available on Amazon.

Well done!!!
Thank you! Your compliment means a lot to me. I love your playing!
Me thinks you listen close to Brian Peter's style. Well done.
Excellent! Beautiful instrument, may I what make it is?
Thank you! My instrument is a Wheatstone antique finished in 1920s.
Great playing. What concertina is it?
Thank you very much! What I'm playing is an antique Wheatstone 40 buttons concertina. I acquired it from Barleycorn Concertina of England.
@@lazynetter8093 Thank you so much
