Such an eye opener. I'm glad you made this video, it is good to hear you talking about it and not just reading it. It's hard for me to imagine the conditions of battle through text, at least harder than listening to someone tell it to me first hand. Obviously nothing can compare to first hand experience. I hope you're keeping well mate.

hey no duff just got an enlistment date today for april next year, rifleman. I've been working out here and there and maxed out everything in the practise PFA but this definately motivates me to be consistent and to progress in my workouts which i have been lacking in lately, going to watch a bit of this video every night before i sleep so the next day i won't dare miss my alarm for a morning run, or back out of calisthenics. Thank you!

I’m currently 15 and want to join the infantry once I turn around 18 and this video has inspired me shit tonnes to start working out to get a good physique, running with 15kg on my back for 20km at least 4 times a week and also start to train with my gel blaster against my mates and try not to get hit. I just wanna say cheers for this info it is very helpful for my future and I have subscribed and watched the series that u posted.

Fit for purpose, I'm 58 and fit enough to work 12 hours a day 14 days on a swing, but I still remember my days as a Grunt, and combat fitness is still my bench mark, I am not back there yet, probably never will be now, but I can still set that as my goal.

That's it mate, one person's max effort may be significantly different to another person's max effort, but what's important is that they're both performing at 100% of their own ability.

+proud aussie101 Hey mate, firstly good on ya for choosing the best corps in the Army, secondly, how long until you plan on signing up? I've got some videos in the works at the moment to help blokes like yourself enlist in the Army but they won't be out for a few weeks yet.

Good stuff mate, sounds like you've got it all worked out. Training now is one of the most important things you can be doing, because you want to be at the peak of your physical and mental fitness BEFORE you get to basic training. Good drills mate.
