You are actually right not to color your hair
Hi Alisha thank you for your sisterlocks update. Tiday 5th February is Mt 2 year sisterlocks anniversary. However, U have funeral low density hair ans Mt retughtens are scheduled every 6 weeks. I did colour Mt hair and have a minor regret because it caused bunching at some of the ends of my locks.
I have the same issue….I cant keep my hands out my hair, but it’s been my soothing mechanism since birth soooo…issa struggle 😩😩😩

I'm looking to color my locs too (similar to your color) but am scared of breakage, so good to hear different people's experiences. What products do you use on a daily basis? Do you condition?
Currently, I don’t condition but I’m going to start soon because my loctition told me too. When I do, I’ll make a video on the conditioner. Thanks so much for watching.
Hi is it okay to use rinse out conditioner and leave in conditioners... My hair feels soft, is that ohk or it has to feel hard.. Thanks
Are your locs bigger in the middle ? Like your parts too? From your top .. looking at when you first got your establishment it looked like the parts in back were little bigger than usual that’s why I asked .. I just got mine and getting them redone bc you can visibly tell they’re different sizes and I wanted one size all over
With the Sisterlocks system, the locks are a different size in the front than in the back. That’s how they have their method. However, some stylist may do their sisterlock method different than what’s learned in training. I hope that helps.
With Sisterlocks, they're not supposed to be the same size all over. They are trained to make them three different sizes on each head. It varies with the different length of your head from front to back. For microlocs, it's really up to your loctitian.
How often do you retie?
Every four weeks. Faithfully.
