Hi Ronnie: In the past I had traditional locks, and regular natural hair styles. I started my Sisterlocs journey as a birthday treat to myself, October 2020, therefore, I am 4 months in! I have and had been searching the website for ways to care for my Sisterlocs, especially on a daily basis. The very first time I came across your particular video, I immediately fell in love with it, with your delivery, your beauty, and your dialect! I went online to Amazon, and purchased each product you described and exhibited, and could not wait until they arrived in the mail. Just the other day, I colored my hair back to a color I used many years ago, Honey Blonde. The products I ordered could not have arrived at a better time, which was the Heritage Rosewater & Glycerin, Palmer's Coconut Oil Strong Roots Spray, Hemp Hair Oil, and I already had on hand, the distilled water to place in a spray bottle. Today, I visited your Channel and subscribed, so I could find your instructions once again. Your instructions on how to refresh your Sisterlocs in the morning, and on a daily basis, was "right on time"!

I am confused about this sisterlocks though, how is it different from dreadlocks?
it's a different size and uses a specific grid pattern to section the hair before interlocking.
niiiiiiiiice!!! My loctechnician told me not to use any oil on my hair. Should I? You look beautiful! : )
it's advisable not to use any oil on your hair. but i have very dry scalp and need regular oiling. if you have to try and avoid it for the first few months until you know it won't cause your hair to unravel.
You do this every morning?

Be careful using tap water especially in that bottle where u cant see the water. The water can mold, that's why most ppl impose the distilled water
I understand and appreciate your opinion. This is how i’v done it for years and it has been very okay for me. I make sure to change the water regularly. This may not work for everyone though.

The water they use depends on their location. If you live in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, distilled water will make a difference.
Well true. But at the end of the day it’s still the same water you will use to wash the hair right? For me it doesn’t really matter . Distilled or Tap
