Wow, I saved Sanie cu zurgalai (the original) in my yiddish songlist before knowing of this one. That because I know that Romania left an imprint on yiddish music and I listened to Aaron Lebedeff (Rumania) last night and I was inspired.
@@annamari7863 I’m glad you like it. Thank you! One very interesting detail: Aaron Lebedeff, whom I admire very much, always pretended to be Romanian. But he was actually born in Homel, Belarus in 1875 and died 1960 in New York City. Nevertheless immo he is one of the greatest Yiddish artists of all times.
Thank you so much for this wonderful Yiddish version of the known Romanian song "Sanie cu Zurgalai". I would be very much interetsed by the lyrics in Yiddish of this song "Shlitele mit Glekelekh". Do you plan to posting them below the video or otherwise to could send me them? All my thanks in advance for your great kindess and especially for your precious help. All the best to you!
@@RomanGrinberg-Vienna Dear Roman Grinberg, Thank you so much for your reply to my comment. It's a pity that you have no plan to publish the lyrics in Yiddish of Romanian song "Sanie cu Zurgalai". Could you then to send me directly these lyrics in Yiddish. All my thanks in advance for your great kindness and especially for your precious help. Kind regards and Shabbat Shalom! Do you know that EdithPiaf sings it as a love song? Johnny, tu n'es pas un ange.

@@annamari7863 of course I do. ;-)
Thanks for talking to your commenters :)
Interesting fact about Aaron. It looks like being Romanian sounded better at the time, or maybe it was his personal preference.

Varianta yiddish este minunată dar varianta originală este totuși, cea în limba română:

Minunat! Frumos interpretat! În ce limbă se cântă?
Thank you! It's Yiddish.

Die Adaptierung ist besser als das Original
