So I am a 41 yr old woman. Diagnosed back in 06/2018 I had been taking a very large dose of ashwaghandafor years. A chiropractor/massage therapist recommended it. I used to run 6 days a week and 4-8 marathons a year. But I had a break in health care as well as suffered an “unknown” illness. Low & behind after my grandma passed away I found that she and I have the closest biohealth to anyone in my family. Moms mother. Dads adopted so I had to do serious digging to find anything on his family. Then at the funeral found another cousin and a few distant relatives ,(all female) had similar problems. No one had been diagnosed. Now I’ve tried everything they told me too. It’s exhausting. I’m exploring more on my own as my favorite rheumatologist has now left to go teach & write med books with Mayo Clinic. I cannot for the life of me find anyone to truly help h since he left. The new R Doc says stay off the internet. However I find I learn more on here. I am now told ashwaghanda causes an auto immune response and to discontinue it? despite my cortisol and Pyrrolies being high am told not to take it. So I leaned to Organixx 7 blend Magnesium & L-theanine. New neurologist has put me on lipoic acid, turmeric, lions mane, D3, iron, lyposomal VitaminC, etc… thinking I need to explore more with the endocrine system now as I think with my own research I see it could be what’s effecting other organs & neurological issues now arising. I’d list my other doc prescribed meds but feel that’s private. I’d love to go over them and was wondering if they could be what’s now causing an imbalance? My doctors would never admit if something they prescribed me gave me another condition. They play the blame game a lot. I just really want to feel better. Never have I ever watched a video that says these symptoms could be anything besides PCOS. I want to be aggressively proactive right now as summer is here & heat is not my friend. Willing to do anything to feel better. Do you just do this or do you still practice medicine? So telegraph visits? Can I take these other things you suggested with what I’m taking now? Sorry so long winded. Thanks.
Living at this time, dealing with ppl mentality and behavior, driving, watching and hearing the news, dealing with economy crises… I think it’s weird if someone actually does not have high cortisol.
It's also headed towards a complete disaster right now within the education system and teachers who are resigning due to extreme stress and mental health crisis, because of children who are refusing to learn and being passed anyway, but also due to their entitled and extremey bad behavior within the classroom and an equally toxic and enabling administation whose placing a huge burden upon them.
Cushing Syndrome Her doctor started her on 300mg Korlym about 4 weeks ago. Mood is more stable now but we were told not to expect any real improvements for at least 6 weeks to 3 months
Add raising young children and explaining that they can't run freely down the street because someone might have a knife. Now I wonder what their cortisol is like?
Living with complex PTSD, I became a caffeine addict for 15-20 years, consuming 3-500 mg steadily throughout the day. Often having a cup between 6-10 pm. This certainly elevated cortisol and reduced sleep quality.
Wow it never came to my mind that drinking so much caffeine was linked to my PTSD, how did you realize that and is there a way to solve it? I wonder why I don't drink tea but coffee, what does it do that I can't stop drinking
@@ashley14579I’m the same way, I was telling myself I wouldn’t today, and had a big cup of coffee and 2 Red Bulls at 4 pm and I’m still up at 3 am now.. I think it has to do with escapism, coffee is an antidepressant and offers a sense of euphoria for a brief duration, and it’s worth it for our brains at the time.
@@greg9069 it is sad that while I though I was not running away from life caffeine was that way of not confronting how I am feeling Thank you for a reply!
What’s sad is the number of people who are saying their doctors don’t listen to them or they can’t see one.I know what this is like and it’s a real shame.I think just attacking your ailments head on is key through things like diet and exercise and mental health strategies can only help you as you work to get some sort of medical help.Just don’t wait for it to start making changes. If you feel off or like you have this then it can’t hurt.

I really appreciate your content! It is probably one of the best speaking to hypercortisolism. I have battled Cushings Disease for 20 years. I had neurosurgery twice and a radiation for anterior pituitary adnomas. After radiation, I developed panhypopiyuitarism and take eight replacement hormone medication and injections. It has been a LONG journey! It might be helpful for your followers to hear the differences between Cushing's Disease and Cushing's Syndrome. As you know, the origin and treatment are very different between the two. From what I have read in the responses a quite a few individuals do not know what to look for in an endocrinologist, what tests confirm either disease, and the types of treatment. Keep up the great content!
By the time you get those red marks it's way too high, I was treated by a doctor with steroids, I went from 133 lb to 165 lb I had to find another endocrinologist they wouldn't lower my cortisol because they told me it was in normal range, finally I've lost 20 lb. I had no red stretch marks on my skin at all but I was developing a hump on the back of my neck I was getting moon face and I was 20 lb heavier and my legs were swelling and now I've developed Venus insufficiency. I don't recommend taking steroids for anything.
Hey Gina! Glad you are doing better. Any tips you can share? I’m going to start taking l-Theanine and cordyceps to reduce my cortisol level and anxiety. Already have implemented yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises. Would love to hear. Much continued success to you🙏🏼
@@ninamarie8654Have you tried a low carb diet? I know corticosteroids mess up your blood sugar/ insulin response. Maybe a very low carb diet would moderate that? If you tried the carnivore diet that could even have a positive effect on your health, so much so that you can stop the steroids. High healthy fat, as in meat with fat, and butter can significantly help hormone problems. Check out Dr Elizabeth Bright. She's been interviewed on YT by a number of people. Good luck! ❤
My spouse was recently diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome. She has all the symptoms that you mentioned except the skin discoloration. When I wanted to check up with my doctor about this, they ignored me and I never got a check-up time with them. Sucks to be ignored when you really feel like a check-up could lower your stress.
Some big time medical gaslighting for which right along with ignoring, stonewalling, blameshifting, walking out of the room, giving their unwanted opinions, leveling or refusing referrals are toxic tactics used to shut you up. They are extremely arrogant and could care less about their patients and making sure that you stay sick, stuck and coming back only means more profit in their pocket. Many of them even attempt prescribing psyche meds for which also means huge kickbacks from big pharma or refering you over to mental health where the whole lot of them are claiming to specialize in trauma, when as a matter of fact no they do not and are making things even worse.
Omg! I have all the five symptoms you mentioned. I couldn’t figure out why I can’t loose weight. Thank you for all the information. This will help me moving forward.
yes! A doctor that gets herbals can help support the body. I had a stroke in 07 with no known cause. I completely changed how I take care of myself and worked with a Naturopath, Acupuncturist and a Shaman to get back to health. The doctors gave me a statin just because, they said oh you must have inflammation somewhere to cause this, although ALL your tests came back normal. The drug almost killed me. So swore I would not become my mother who was taking 12 -13 pills a day. I am now 60 years old and take zero pharmaceuticals and use oils, herbs and food as my medicine. ( I do use doctors for emergencies and conditions that for whatever reason aren't responding to my protocols or come on too fast for the herbals to take affect)
8am to 8pm - Work Commute & Work Stress, Overtime so not surprising Cortisol is higher during this period for most 9-5 workers. Night shift workers it would show a reverse of 8pm-8am high Cortisol. Never knew my Hisutism was likely caused by Stress ie High Cortisol levels (I wish I knew this in my early years then I could have managed it better much sooner).
Try out nofap and cut music, those 2 spike the most dopamine and cortisol in your body leading to high levels of anxiety, I’m not lying when I say this, try it out for 1-2 weeks and you’ll be surprised by how calm and strong you become at the gym
My niece has high cortisol since the stress of her parents divorce I have custody now she is on medication to control her blood sugar she is 9 now any vitamins etc! I would appreciate
I started getting stretch marks a while back and i didn't gain enough weight to justify them. But my blood revealed nothing. I also had mottled skin . I still don't know what caused my symptoms. I managed to mitigate these symptoms by not being vegetarian anymore, i even went low carb. I supplement vit d, cod liver fish oil, iodine and magnesium. I try to eat more protien and more good sources of fat.
Eating more meat and protein with fat ( like in 80/20 beef and ribeye steaks) has been incredible for my skin quality and has totally erased most of my stretch marks! I also eat collagen broth, with I make from beef or chicken bones (or chicken feet/ which is an amazing source of collagen!). This has not only eliminated stretch marks, but I’ve also noticed my skin has a glow and is firmer than when I was a vegetarian. For me, my species appropriate diet includes meat nearly everyday. I also feel better!
Thank you. I have so many questions. Can you have a lesser form of cushings, which is just caused by a persistently very stressful life? I don't recognise the Apple shaped body but I do recognise other symptoms. I also think I have sleep apnea. I also wonder if people with face-skin issues (acne and rosacea) actually have cortisol issues. Also are there any links with heavy periods? I would very much appreciate another video I found you very credible
Lifestyle changes for acne fighters: 1) change ur pillow-case every other day. Make sure ur pillow case is soft (silky) Buy new or wash a pillow if previous one is smelly 2) use 1 time tissues for face instead of towel (e.g. a box of kleenex tissue for hands) OR wash ur personal face towel every day 3) exclude soya (for ladies before menopause), dairy milk, sugar 4) do not touch ur face unless u washed hands 5) clean ur smartfone every other day 6) use headset to talk by phone 7) do not press/extract by urself anything on ur face. He has pinned a comment with Thorne products after you commented, just so you know in case you're still looking. Thorne products are generally a good choice to my knowledge if you can afford them.
I have been addicted to caffeine. my childhood caused anxiety. I always suspected i’m in a constant state of hyper-vigilance, I’ve had problems sleeping, low energy, muscle loss, and cognitive issues, memory/concentration. Had my Testosterone levels finally tested and it was 86. Should be 200-400. I’m 42, 5’11” 185lbs. In decent shape. But I’m struggling.
Cut your caffeine intake in half or as much as you can, supplement zinc and magnesium citrate. 400 to 800 mgs per day for magnesium. Healthy fats are important, include eggs daily and some quality red meat.
Another question I have is whether the high cortisol can make you perceive more threats and therefore create a feedback loop. I am a very anxious person (I have ASD) but sometimes I get a stress response or anxiety/palpitations for very little reason
@@ravireddyism try a magnesium spray with lavender, half b4 bed spray your feet 👍🏻, getting nervous about something, spray it on your stomach 👍🏻 it’s totally changed my life 🥳👍🏻 im not longer a bag of nerves energy..
Ashwaganda is not recommended if you have any fibromyalgia type conditions it aggravates the inflammation unfortunately. I have found ylang ylang a good source of lowering early morning cortisol. I dilute the yy in some oil and spread on my philtrum to inhale.
@@CandyGirl44 like everything it will affect people differently. It seems to affect the knees mos according to studies. I gave my ashwaganda to my daughter for sleep not thinking it would affect her as she doesn't have any known conditions but after taking for some weeks developed pain in her knees. 🤷♀️
I’ve had high cortisol levels for 2 decades now but sleep isn’t the answer for me because my cortisol peaks at bedtime, early hours and is lowest first thing in the morning. Kinda rough tbh
Have you had done anything about seeing if your circadian rhythm is off and if you can get it back on track? I believe it’s related to your pineal gland.
I had Cushing’s Disease but mine was due to a micro adenoma on my pituitary gland pumping out too much cortisol 24/7. It was a LONG process to get diagnosed and it was more like ruling out other things in order to arrive at Cushing’s. It’s been 5 years and I haven’t had a recurrence.
Ugh this sounds like my life. Granted I don’t know if it’s cortisol or anxiety but I can’t sleep at night. I start feeling more relaxed and sleepy as soon as it’s 6am. Thankfully I dont have a full time job at the moment but am worried about what’s gonna happen when I get a full time job and have to start work early in the morning.
My question is why if we KNOW this can be so damaging to health is the testing and treatments so difficult to get. I have Cptsd and my dr gaslighting me instead of referring me to actually address this is simply bs. He has dismissed me more times than I can say. He wants to put me on weight loss medication BUT not address the REASONS why🤷♀️🤦♀️
If your Dr is not an endocrinologist, you need to get a referral or go see one. Most PCP's do not focus on specific endocrine disorders. They pass it off and tell you that you need to lose weight because they do not understand. Would you go to PCP for all your gynecology needs? No, you would go to an gynecologist. It is the same for endocrine problems. In medical school, future PCP only take ONE endocrine course! I only know this because my endocrinologist teaches at an university in the medical program. Do not wait any longer to see an endo. It took 15 years to confirm I had Cushings Disease. If it had been found 5 years earlier, I would have recovered my quicker from my brain surgeries and radiation sooner. Good luck. And, ALWAYS trust your intuition. If you feel your doctor, if not listening, fire him or her! I fired four endocrinologists in a 15-year period. My fifth and current endo properly diagnosed me and saved my life!
These videos mean absolutely nothing when you can't find Doctors, especially specialists, to take you seriously. I JUST WANT TO GET BETTER. I clearly have Cushing's, most all the symptoms, especially a massive buffalo hump but I was gaslit by Virgina Commonwealth University endocrinologist after she only did ONE TEST! I booked her in April 2023 for January 2024.
American healthcare sucks. Fly to Korea and speak with Dr. Choi at Asan Medical Center's international clinic. Or Mexico City could be less expensive, but I can vouch for Dr. Choi.
Does high cortisol increase the ldl cholesterol? My cholesterol levels have been increasing even though I’m sleeping 8-9 hours a day, eating healthy, I don’t do any physical activity. But I suffer from stress, I’ve been prescribed statins today, but my cholesterol has been high since June last year and that’s when my stress levels were the highest. I’m just wondering if high cortisol is related to high cholesterol

could be, cholesterol levels can reflect your thyroid health and cortisol inhibits thyroid function
I’d love to see a video concerning (C)PTSD. I’m suffering from cptsd and i believe ifs the root cause for my current issues. No doc could help me so far
I’m having Hashimoto since 35 years and now with 72 years my Doctor told that I have high Cortisol Levels with 228 ?! Don’t know how what’s measured in. So and I’m prediabetic. I’m 5.2 high and 130 pounds heavy! I’m since last Fall on Statins. I take Supplements like Milkthistle, Selen, Magnesium, Calcium. I also want to take Bilirubin Acid . I do exercise. Yoga and Bike. Milkthistle, Iron, B12, 6:27 Selen, Magnesium Mag
I guess my Hashimoto is causing High Cortisol, because my Heart rate is elevated too and I take Metoprolol for it. Is that all what I can do? Hope I won’t get Diabetes!
I have been having symptoms increasingly for 3 years and finally got in with an endocrinologist and she wants to do testing for Cushings disease, which I had never heard of. Now that I am researching it, I realize exactly why she suspects that I have it. I am curious, why did you mention that if you have a Buffalo hump that you hope a treatment plan is already in place?
I wish you much luck in getting results quickly. It took me 5 endocrinologists in a 15 years to get a Cushings Disease diagnosis. My neurosurgeon told me before my first brain surgery, the average time to get a diagnosis is 10 years, so if you at 3 years you have an amazing endo who knows what they are doing!
will i have to ask my doctor specifically for a cortisol test, or is this checked in a standard blood test. i've had high blood pressure for a long time, and the meds are not working very well.
What is your opinion about whether or not regular sauna/cold plunge are good for you with regard to lowering/raising cortisol? I noticed you did not mention it as a solution for reducing cortisol and so many "experts" do. Dr. Elizabeth Bright (respected adrenals and thyroid expert) states that sauna and cold plunge are stimulants and raise cortisol which is a stressor. When you do it on a regular basis you're introducing "chronic" stressors which make your body think you're in a fight or flight situation chronically - which is damaging to your health long term. This makes sense to me, but in direct conflict with what other experts are saying regarding the amazing benefits of sauna and cold plunge. I don't know wtf is the right thing to do to optimize health??! Thank you so much! I appreciate your professional opinion.
thank you for this i really appreciate it Dr Arsalan. this is so prescient for me. Ive had terrible PTSD through being homeless and losing everything and having been unable to work and walk and being bedridden. ive had to manage nearly everything myself althernatively. in the UK we have the NHS that does not want to do anything for us. fortunately ive always been alternative. been doing intermittent fasting for a while and following Dr Mindy Pelz fasting protocols. blessings brother
I have CPTSD from lifelong trauma. I currently am unable to remove the current cause of stress. I go to the gym daily, no carbs no sugar, calorie deficit, and still no weight loss. Doctor doesn’t believe me when I say I exercise. Refuses to give me the blood test for cortisol. What can I do to lower it? I’ve tried everything you suggested.
I found out I was having adrenal gland issues due to weight gain and craving BLACK LICORICE. I have HATED black licorice my entire life and suddenly started craving it. I was even ordering salt encrusted black licorice candies and couldn't get enough!😬😅 (Once I got my stress levels, eating habits and exercise levels in order, the cravings stopped. I now hate it again!😂)

I have these signs, plus many other alarming ones associated with Cushing's. I practically have every single of the 30 or so symptoms of Cushings. Despite 5 referrals to endos I can't get an appointment and I am experiencing severe hypertension, cholesterol, and borderline type 2 diabetes. All of a sudden I have that moon face, hump, and look 9 months pregnant. I'm having vision problems, cognative decline and fatigue that knows no end. Can you talk about this crisis with endos and why, despite having tons of tests and referrals, I'm condistently gaslit that I have a psychiatric problem? I even have a letter from one stating this isn't a psychiatric problem. I read that if untreated, I could easily suffer a heart attack. As the single mother of a young child, I am devistated that I have life-threatening symptoms that nobody will address. I was told I have to wait a year for an appointment. I am so impaired I dtopped driving, I dropped out of an MBA program, and I can't work. What the heck can I do, and are you seeing new patients? I honestly don't want to die, and my daughter ends up in foster care. I've had a high power professional career, iwn my own home, and have several graduate degrees. Is my life not valued? Wht has to happen before an endo will take me seriously. I need help! Badly!
First, I believe you. Second, you are not crazy. Third, get the book The Adrenal Reset Diet by Alan Christianson. Buy online so you can read it now or have it shipped to you overnight. That book literally saved my life. It may take 1 or 2 weeks for you to start to see results with it, but you must follow it exactly (no cheating, no guessing), not just the diet it says but everything else related it says, for whatever stage you are in. Skip the other chapters on the other stages, you need to read the intro, take the short quiz, & jump to that stage you are at, in the book. If you are unable to read or follow it due to your current state, you must get someone else to read it & help you follow it. You will come out the other side on this. I know you will. I trust you. You must keep your faith & hope, any way you can.
Don't worry too much, it makes you sick. And try to get a doctor's advice atleast from online. Come to India you will get very good endocrinologist here. 1.Make yourself happy and watch some comedy movies. 2. Many videos are available in online regarding yoga and breathing techniques, please learn and do it atleast twice a day probably early morning and evening. 3. Be strong and you must tell yourself to I am very strong i will be able to come back 💪 4. Do your work continuosly, enjoy the nature every day. 5. Food is very important search your right food and have it. Stay calm and happy will helps you to get out of this situation 🙏
Thanks for the suggestions. One of my doctors had to advocate for me to get me into see a specialist. My symptoms have been getting much more severe as time has gone by and I'm about at my wit's end. I did get a diagnosis for Cushing's and meet with my MD to discuss. Fortunately I live in a city that has about eight hospitals, and some of the best medicine in the country. I know it's going to get worse before it gets better, but I am glad to live where I do
U may not get stretch marks! I had Cushings and did not get this. The best way to diagnose Cushings is the saliva test. Go to an endocrinologist. Primary care physicians can miss the diagnosis.
A lot of people don’t mention the affects on Dhea-s. What are your thoughts on that? I have had high saliva cortisol for a few years and my dhea-s is extremely low. I am hoping to get an adrenal scan.
Clinique actually has a good one for men. And the thing is do not wash your face in the morning only before going to bed do not use toners use a moisturizer
Sporadic Sores in back of mouth/gums?? I believe this is stress. I thought it was apple cider vinegar but I never had problems before- then realized mass stress situation coincided.
I have very high cortisol levels as a result of my immune system attacking my spinal cord and brain. Triggered by vaccination. The immune insult is over but the cortisol is still high.
I feel so lost in this stress mess... no matter what I do I can't get back to my normal weight. If I do too much at the gym I gain weight. I can't adjust my sleep because my job is very demanding and I don't eat when I'm supposed to because I'm exhausted from my job....it's so frustrating
I’m experiencing the dry eye symptoms since 3 years back.. is there any scientific proven it relates to cortisol? All the dr I met they said are the lifestyle issue… I’ve been switching around for years. The situation was improve but I wonder is it any relation here?😮
@gwendowning9050 I had to take care of what was causing it....I had/have uncontrolled autoimmune disease....I am now on hydroxychloriquin, humira, methotrexate, and short and long acting pain medications.... controlling my pain and inflammation...as well as I can.... has helped my cortisol to go down. It's a struggle to do though. Most people have an adrenal or pituitary tumor causing theirs though
Can you tell me what tests are to be asked to test for cortisol & other female hormones? Like full hormone tests or directly ask i want to test my cortisol level? In india, i have tested for thyroids n rbcs wbc, but dont know which test is for cortisol.
Hirsutism can also be genetic. Many of my female relatives, including myself, have it. None have been diagnosed with any physical illnesses causing it.
What type of doctor should I see to get my adrenals checked? I can’t get my primary care doctor to listen to me or check my hormones. Should I try to see an endocrinologist? About 6 years ago I saw a functional medicine doctor. She tested my hormones and said I had 3 “stress hormone” that were at abnormal levels. Cortisol was high. She recommended stress management, dietary changes, and some supplements. I followed her recommendations, but I’m still struggling. Unfortunately I could no longer afford the function medicine bills. I’m really struggling with all the symptoms you mentioned. I’m just not sure who to turn to.
Have you had a full thyroid panel? Don’t recommend an endocrinologist for that. Functional or integrative med dr is best. Anyway, untreated low thyroid can absolutely affect all of the other hormones and somewhat mimic Cushing’s.
I had these scars on my arms as a kid and my father dad was convinced I was shooting up drugs. I was like 11.... I hadn't even smoked a cigarette or lost my virginity yet but yeah dad I'm shooting up drugs I don't even know names of at this time
Very informative video🎯. I'm definitely going to look into the supplements you mentioned. One very helpful supplement I took to lower cortisol was adrenal CORTEX. That stuff was a lifesaver during an extremely stressful time in my life when my blood test results showed very high cortisol. One good thing to note is never take adrenal glandular if you have high cortisol. That actually increases it causing mass panic. Cortex is legit👌😊

Good to know I’m a senior , chronic pain for a long time and started ashwaganda for high cortisol from nerve blocks and high prednisone. I didn’t know aswaganda affected the narcotic . I will stop taking it . I’m always careful with these things because my own mother took st John’s wort and it messed up her system I feel.

Manage it - meditate/pray,exercise,cold shower,sleep early,diet etc.
Swap coffee for green tea and ashwaganda and do daily cardio
Love this!
Dandelion tea is also good for the evening to help you relax. I drink it and take magnesium 2-3 hrs before bed.
Gentle cardio, as intense workouts are a stressor and will raise cortisol
Ashwaghanda can cause somnolence in some people.
Did nothing
Living with complex PTSD, I became a caffeine addict for 15-20 years, consuming 3-500 mg steadily throughout the day. Often having a cup between 6-10 pm. This certainly elevated cortisol and reduced sleep quality.
Same.
@@greg9069 it is sad that while I though I was not running away from life caffeine was that way of not confronting how I am feeling
Thank you for a reply!
Have you cut back down now? If so, how many mg's of caffeine do you take now?
What’s sad is the number of people who are saying their doctors don’t listen to them or they can’t see one.I know what this is like and it’s a real shame.I think just attacking your ailments head on is key through things like diet and exercise and mental health strategies can only help you as you work to get some sort of medical help.Just don’t wait for it to start making changes. If you feel off or like you have this then it can’t hurt.
You won't need to see a doctor if you just stop living an unhealthy lifestyle. That's the secret and it's not very complicated.
The most simple cortisol lowering agent is vitamin C
There was "an attenuation, albeit transient, of both the adrenal stress hormone and anti-inflammatory polypeptide response to prolonged exercise in runners who supplemented with 1500 mg vitamin C per day when compared to < or = 500 mg per day."

I really appreciate your content! It is probably one of the best speaking to hypercortisolism. I have battled Cushings Disease for 20 years.
Thx

Good luck! ❤

Many of them even attempt prescribing psyche meds for which also means huge kickbacks from big pharma or refering you over to mental health where the whole lot of them are claiming to specialize in trauma, when as a matter of fact no they do not and are making things even worse.

Never knew my Hisutism was likely caused by Stress ie High Cortisol levels (I wish I knew this in my early years then I could have managed it better much sooner).
i am so tired from anxiety...
Right there with you, Sky, it can be exhausting. Hope you're having a better day.
Try out nofap and cut music, those 2 spike the most dopamine and cortisol in your body leading to high levels of anxiety, I’m not lying when I say this, try it out for 1-2 weeks and you’ll be surprised by how calm and strong you become at the gym

Yes! They often do.
Lifestyle changes for acne fighters:
1) change ur pillow-case every other day. Make sure ur pillow case is soft (silky)
Buy new or wash a pillow if previous one is smelly
2) use 1 time tissues for face instead of towel (e.g. a box of kleenex tissue for hands) OR wash ur personal face towel every day
3) exclude soya (for ladies before menopause), dairy milk, sugar
4) do not touch ur face unless u washed hands
5) clean ur smartfone every other day
6) use headset to talk by phone
7) do not press/extract by urself anything on ur face. If u need it, u should go for a professional cleaning
8) never go to sleep with make-up or sunscreen on
9) keep skin hydrated
10) exclude stress (analyse the reasons and exclude the source of stress)
11) make sure u sleep well and enough hours
12) never use any physical exfoliator (scrub)
13) exclude skincare which has fragrance or drying alcogol
14) revise ur make up and throw away expired one
15) wash ur make-up brushes with soap without fragrance every other day
16) try not to use make-up during period of treatment
17) sunscreen spf 50: go for hydrating oil-free one
18) reduce alcohol and smoking as it dries ur skin (dehydrated skin means more oil production =》 acne)

Why don't you address the reasons then? Stop going to the doctor and take your health back.

That book literally saved my life.

I have Anxiety about thinking of my many "Anxieties"!
Because the glands are on top of the kidneys could that cause you to urinate more? Or give the sensation that you have to urinate?
Hirsutism can also be genetic. Many of my female relatives, including myself, have it. None have been diagnosed with any physical illnesses causing it.
Yes!
An endocrinologist, have you consulted with any?
@@ArsalanAspires no. I have not seen an endocrinologist yet. I’ll definitely do that soon. Thanks so much for your insights and support.
Have you had a full thyroid panel? Don’t recommend an endocrinologist for that. Functional or integrative med dr is best. Anyway, untreated low thyroid can absolutely affect all of the other hormones and somewhat mimic Cushing’s.
A naturopath who can do a full panel
Get a different doctor. Don't keep a doctor that won't listen to your health concerns.
Can too much cortisol cause a sudden temporary vision issue ?
What color are those stretch marks for black people?
Black
Does sport contribute to high level of cortisol
Depends on the intensity. More importantly, the time you give yourself to rest and recover is significant too.
I heard the same from another video. How long did you take it for? If you don’t mind me asking.
Please could you tell me the time you take it because I bought one from Thorne on Amazon and afraid to take it.3years with severe insomnia can't fall to sleep at night
Recently I have removed one side of adrinal for high cortisol, now I am feeling better and came back to normal life.
@@yaathumoore360How did you do that?
@@RareGem369 with my doctor's advice, I went through the surgery and I am better now. Don't know any other options from my side.
Ashwaganda is not all that great, there are side effects, and it can potentially block medications. For me, it blocked my narcotic pain relievers for about 90 days, after only a few doses.. and yes, I’m taking my meds as prescribed for severe chronic pain.
I have high aldosterone hormone picked up from.special blood rest
I am taking a minoxidil spray. I think it is causing high cortisol in me.
Now make a video on adrenal insufficiency which is life threatening
