I'm a 57 year old Brit. I flew to Japan last year just to see these ladies play live. I saw them four times across Japan in nine days. They didn't play the same set twice. They are the best live act I have ever seen - and I have seen the best. And just think, usually their shows (they call them 'servings' - well they are maids after all) last for 2+ hours at this level. No support bands, no encores. The serving this song was recorded at lasted a legendary 3.5 hours! So yeah, see them if you can, you will not regret it!
No question, Band Maid is the best live band I’ve ever heard. I saw them in Phoenix in October of ‘22, Austin in May of ‘23, Salt Lake City in August of ‘23, and again March of this year in Tokyo for an acoustic set. Absolutely amazing at every show they put on!
Oh, the Acoustic show was AMAZING! Standing in the super windy freezing rain waiting to get in wasn't fun, but it was so worth it.😂 There were a lot of cameras there, I hope it means a show release. Maybe another Acoustic Christmas Present? PO!🕊
@@BRO-HI808 yeah the rain wasn’t fun. Froze my butt off on the way to the izakaya after the show, but it was a great night all around. Really hope they announce a release for the acoustic show whether it’s on BD or their prime site. I really want to hear that acoustic version of Bubble again!
I'm a 74 -year- old guy and I have not been so excited about a band since the 70's bands. Incredible songs, talent, style. and showmanship. And the barefoot assassin Misa (bass) is mesmerizing to watch. She is called that because of the outfit she wears and that fact she usually performs barefoot. Hats off to Miku (backup vocals, guitar) for coming up with the idea for this band!
I saw them 5 times in 2022 and 3 times in 2023. Each show was somehow even better than the last. Maybe partly because they're just overwhelming and you kind of have to adjust. And those were US tour shows without all the lasers and whatnot in this one - and yet they were just as good because of the connection they have with their audience. A Band-Maid concert is a magical experience.
They did TWO thirty days tours in the US last year and one in the fall of 2022. It'll be smaller venue like 2000 and none of the extra bells and whistles like screens and lasers but they honestly don't NEED it. After Lollapalooza last year, the Chicago Sun Sentinel called them "hypnotic," because you simply cant take your eyes off of them.
@@XplorationXpedition they'll be back. The only reason they haven't left Japan this year is probably because they're recording a new album right now. After that I'd expect them to start touring again.
This was recorded from their tour finale, so there is much more stage presentation. I saw them last year in Houston, and it was in a much smaller venue, and didn't have all the lasers and lights. However, saying all that, I enjoyed the concert just as much, the music, the Ladies themselves, how they interacted with the audience, how the fans interacted before the show waiting in line. When the concert was over I left the venue in my wheelchair, with almost no voice, my arms and shoulders were tired and feeling the good kind of sore, and my cheeks were hurting from smiling so much. I also was wondering how the time had gone that fast. It didn't seem like 2 and half hours had gone by, yet it had. So if you ever have the opportunity to see the Ladies live, Take it. I guarantee you will enjoy yourselves.
For me..Kanami Tōno, lead guitarist and composer, is the most impressive musician of the 21st Century. Pure genius as a composer and true Rock n’ Roll star on stage 💥 She is The Special One ❤️🔥🤘 Greets from Finland 🇫🇮🤘
Never thought my favorite Hard Rock band would involve 5 Japanese women dressed as maids. But here we are. Discovered them during the pandemic and have since seen them twice in the US.
I am 55, I have heard many great bands, but these ladies are the best. There was some merchandise on Amazon, I got a tee shirt from there. My playlist is 90% Japanese bands now. They are that good. And when you watch their live performances they are even better than the studio versions.
Listening to your comments you totally get them. They are their own thing and unique. I describe them to my friends as completely familiar, completely different, and just completely perfect. I'm 56. They improved on all the music I've loved my whole life. The last 5 yrs have been better because i found their music and their story. It's all great. Enjoy, and hopefully welcome to the club.
This show happened to be the first concert which I ever attended. Been a fan for two years and I had to go to this show. It's been nearly 6 months since then, and I have flown to HongKong and Japan to watch them 6 more times. They are incredible live! Cannot wait for their next show with The Warning! 🤘🏽
It doesn't matter if you've been here the full 11 years or the last 11 minutes you're welcome on board. I hear people say they feel bad for not hearing about Band-Maid earlier and to that I say don't be. These ladies have been growing strong and stronger with each passing years and they are poised to break into the mainstream soon so in that regards you're still ahead of the curve. So just explore their catalog and rock on.
Thanks for the reaction and comments. You are experiencing what is arguably the best live rock band on the planet. These ladies don’t disappoint. You can randomly pick any official video and you’ll be thoroughly entertained. As you mentioned, Band-Maid’s sound is uniquely their own. My personal recommendation is check out either Moratorium (Zepp Tokyo 2024), Play!, Domination, or No God(all official live videos) next. Until, next time…Cheers!
That's part of Band-Maids charm.....they always leave you wanting more ! 😏♥️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘 Try the live video of " Endless Story, " it's the 33rd and last song from this show. It's a special moment as it conveys their humbleness and the love they have for their fans.
They did US tours in both 2022 and 2023 ... I saw them both times. Chicago and Detroit respectively. Small intimate venues close to fans. It was the best :) .
This version of Hate? was from BAND-MAID's 3½+ tour final show at Yokohama. It has so many amazing set pieces & stand out moments that it's difficult to express just how awesome the whole concert was.🥲
@@PANIC_aka_PinD I thought you might. The Maids having a walkway that ran around the whole upper tier that they used to walk around the arena whilst playing being just one of many. All those fans at the back that had been watching little ant Maids suddenly got not much bigger Maids walking in front of them.😂
Seen them twice live so far and they're the two best events I've ever been to. Whether the venue holds 100, 1000 or 20000 these ladies place so much emphasis on creating the best show possible for everyone in attendance. Best rock band on the planet.
Band Maid is the most complete (and BEST) band on the planet! Heck, the most complete band since I’ve been alive and I saw Van Halen and Rush in the old days. In fact, I haven’t been to a concert in years…..UNTIL our Maids came to town!! Best Rock band EVER. If you want a contrast to this performance, try their newest song “Bestie” …. instead of ‘hate’, it’s all about the love of ‘besties’! I LOVE BAND MAID❤❤ (And yes, If you get on Saiki’s bad side you are toast, but as you will see in Bestie, if you are a friend you have a ‘bestie’ for life, she will have your back!!!)
In your face Hard Rock - "Warning" MV - "After Life" MV - "Rinne" MV - "Dice" MV - "Choose Me" MV - "Don't You Tell Me" live - "Yolo" MV ... the list goes on. The "Softer Side - "Daydreaming" MV - "Catharsis" Live Acoustic - "At The Drop of a Hat" live Acoustic - "Page" live ... the list goes on. Songs without official clips - "Unfair Game" - "Matchless Gum" - "Awkward" - "Yurago" ... the list goes on. Honestly ... I could pull another 15 out ... an then another 15 ... the list goes on.
Hah! Me too. I was at the "Mr Rocknroll show" . Next down in Houston and way up in Minneapolis where I was one off the rail in between Misa and Kobato. Unfreakin' believable.
Discovered them in 2019 just in time to see them in concert in NYC. Small venue, Mercury Lounge, had a capacity of around 200. Then saw them 2x in 2022. They have become my favorite band. You're right their concerts are so fun and entertaining and the fans are some of the nicest people you will meet.
I saw them in concert last year in Salt Lake City of all places and they are incredible. The light show etc. was minimal, but Band Maid was phenomonal! I an in my seventies and these women are among the very best bands I have ever seen, They are up there with Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabath, Aerosmith, Guns and Rose. You just can't get enough of them. Rock/metal had died for me until I heard my first Band Maid. God I thank you every day for giving us this band. Excellent reaction you two! I love that you let it play out as much as you dared to. I also really liked that you had turned up the volume for this performance, since with Band Maid there is so many little things they are doing all the time that is lost with the volume down. Thanks again guys! I am looking forward to traveling down that music highway with you and also getting to hear some more of these woen along the way!!!! BTW, if you get to listen to "Endless Story" from this same concert, you will encounter another special reason their fans love them so much. I have never seen a band do what they did in this, ever!
They toured in the US twice last year and once in 2022. Only the 'special' larger Japan shows have all the production, normally because they are streaming the show and/or releasing it as a Blu-Ray/DVD. They don't need the production anyway they are entertaining without it and every show is different, setlists and shenanigans change each time.
I’ve seen them twice in the last couple years. 2022 and 2023. I’m sure they’ll be back in a couple years, poor Europe needs some love too, I think they’ve been waiting since pre-Covid. They are awesome live, light show in the states is a lot more simple, it’s in much smaller venues with like 1000 people. Incredible experiences.
Nice reaction thanks for sharing XX .I have seen them in Houston on May 14th at the Bayou Music Center,a 22-song set, and then followed them to Austin literally followed their tour bus and got to meet them all at a Buc-cees stop incredible band the best on this planet right now
*BAND MAID!* Yes the tour in the US last year.. I ended up seeing them in August, one of the best shows I ever went to. That's from hundreds of live shows since 87' forward. Well worth it, and when they come around again be sure to get yours 😉
Band-Maid writes all their songs with live performance in mind. They actively engage the audience in performances, encouraging sing-a-longs, moshing, etc. They talk to the audience during "breaks" and include a lot of humor; it goes over very well even though their English isn't perfect. That's part of their charm and they invent new ways to troll each other for every show. I saw them twice in 2023: at a small club in Detroit where they played for over two hours, and an outdoor festival in Ohio where they play 8 songs. They almost always start their shows with "Domination" and end the show with "Endless Story", a rousing sing-a-long. Otherwise, they could easily play a different set list every night; their catalog is incredibly deep.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. The lead guitarist has been learning piano since the age of 3 and has composed over 130 original songs, none of which are boring. The rhythm guitarist writes the lyrics for the original songs. The guitarist and bassist are amazing as you can see in the image, but please feel the amazingness of the drummer as well. Currently one of the top rock groups in the world. Please enjoy. (using translation software)
I was lucky enough to see them do this live on their last tour (my third time overall seeing them). We were just feet away from MISA during the dual. Just a life highlight, that's all.
Band-Maid doesn't do battles and duels because they're so nice. They have conversations. I flew to Japan from Norway for this particular Okyu-ji (serving) to see them live for the first time. 3.5 hours, 33 song setlist (this was 27). Even standing in line was an experience. As Ryan Mear told me: A day in a Band-Maid queue is a day making new friends. One thing is for sure, it was not my last Okyu-ji.
I have a live recording of Hate? on my humble channel from Band-Maid's 2022 10th anniversary tour stop at a small venue in Charlotte, NC. It is the album version with the single bass/lead guitar hand off, so I guess it is rather ordinary compared to this extended version, but you do get to see MISA's strap come undone in front of everyone.😁
The perfect next song for you would actually be the last one of this concert, "Endless Story". It will show some of the diversity of this band has and their love for their music and their fans.
Sophia and Cody, one of the people who commented on your reaction is S.J.Nix. If you are looking for Band-Maid merch, he can probably hook you up. S.J. and Peter Lim created MNN (Maid News Network) that keep all us Maidiacs informed of Band-Maid news on a regular basis. They are so legit, I'm a Patreon. Welcome to the Band-Maid community It is the friendliest, kindest, and most fan group you will encounter in the rock music world.
Band-Maid is their own genre and they were in the US in 2023 as well ! I saw them at the Rockville Festival in Daytona Speedway =) Great Reaction and Your sound is pretty good ! The Blooming MV is a must ✌🤘
They've toured here a couple of times. Don't worry, they'll be back. However, the first tour I was a mini tour. Just small clubs. Then bigger rooms the second tour. They should be playing arenas like they do in Japan, and I think eventually they will. But if you want to see them up close and personal, see then ASAP. There's a version of this some from their appearance at Lollapalooza. Miku usually writes the lyrics, but Saiki wrote these words herself. She was in a long term relationship. Maybe that's what inspired her. They are energetic. This was the finale for the 10th Anniversary Tour at Yokohama Arena and they played over 3 Hours with no opening act.
In concerts, you can see them performing with big smiles. That will tell you about the band. I think Band-Maid is the best live band. You just can't go wrong with Band-Maid.
You're right. When they were in the US in fall 2023 I saw them twice. And summer 2024, I saw them two more times. They are an absolute blast live. Obviously, they're great musicians but they are also funny and play with the crowd. They are also the kindest group I have ever seen. They truly love their fans.
I’m 55 yrs old heading to Japan in June to see them perform for the 7 th time!! They are doing a dual concert with The Warning in Japan. Another great rock group ! 🤘#bandmaid #thewarning
I've seen them stateside twice, over the past 2 years. Both shows were amazing! Sadly, they did not bring the light show overseas, but they still put on a heck of a show. If you're on the floor, there's a chance you might catch a pick, when they're done.
Great reaction. Been following since 2017 and have seen them live twice. Please continue watching and supporting the Maids. They are indeed the greatest Rock/hard rock band on the planet. And it just keeps getting better. Thank you from all the maid fans worldwide.
This concert was the venerable highlight of their ten-year career. Welcome to the fascinating world of japanese Hardrock and Heavy Metal. Do more of their songs, especially the live versions. Great musicianship. And try other bands too, like Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie, Fate Gear, they are all phantastic
Great reaction to the Maids. Welcome Master Cody and Princess Sophia to the wonderful world of Band Maid. Love seeing reactors being transformed into Maidiacs. Really liked the expression by Sophia at the "Ten minute..." lyric. And you both had your expressions moments.😂 Many try to genre lock the Maids, but Band-Maid is the genre. They mix and match at will, often in the same song. Subscribed. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘 Definitely worth seeing them live if you can. I've seen them multiple times on their 2022 US tour, multiple times on their split 2023 US tour and multiple times in Japan, including this show and their spinoff show. They have so many great songs,, their 10th Anniversary show of 33 songs (technically 32 different songs) and 3hrs and 40mins wasn't enough for them to do all the songs they wanted to include in this show. The spin-off show featured a 23 song setlist, which included 20 other songs not performed in the Yokohama Arena finale show. BTW...if you can see them in Japan, it's a great time to go. The Yen to $ makes it a time to visit. PO!🕊
Subbed to hopefully see you checking out more of our Maids. I was at their last show of their 2022 tour at the House of Blues in Chicago and then saw them at Pointfest in St. Louis in May of 2023 and am waiting impatiently for them to return to the States. They're amazing live!
With Band-Maid songs, you don't need to worry about whether you're pausing often enough. They don't do copyright blocks. Band-Maid loves and actively follows several UA-cam reactors. They did US tours in 2018, 2019, took a break during COVID, and returned again for US tours in 2022 and 2023.
I am so happy that y’all enjoyed Band-Maid because they are awesome and I really love them for being great musicians that write amazingly consistent great songs and are incredible sounding live and pretty fun on stage making their loyal fans smile and laugh while playing high energy music. They are my favorite band for about the last few years and I saw them live in Austin, Texas in May last year and they are so appreciative of the fans. I recommend songs from that same concert, Don’t You Tell Me, Unleash, and Choose Me. Other songs to check out, Domination(live), Play (live), Freedom (live), Puzzle (live), Shambles, Dice, Blooming, Warning, Manners, Sense and many more great songs I could list.
Yup there were the tours in 2022 and 2023 as well as a whole bunch of festivals as well, including lollapalooza which was the first time a Japanese band has been asked to play there in quite some time.
They don't quite so many lights when they play in the US, since they play at mid-size venues. But the all the sound and energy are there! I got to see them at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis last year, about three standing rows back from the stage.
They actually did US tours in both 2022 and 2023. Saw them in Chicago twice, including the debut of this guitar duel. No US shows on the schedule it seems this year, but possibly next year.
Things you will see in the comments: Their Genre is Band-Maid. No egos. Mutual support and respect. Pigeon. Doing Band-Maid things. Bass solo? Multiple genres in one song. It's all true. You can listen to one part multiple times and hear something you missed. There is no stand out member, they all do. Also, Japanese bands support each other. They go to each others shows in Japan. (as it should be) We love this band.
I’ve been a fan since 2018 and I’ve seen them live in LA 3 times. They are amazing live and they usually do a tour here in the states every year. I highly recommend you checking them out live if they are performing near you at all. Their live shows are amazing and fun!
Funny that you said Saiki had some latina in her, I've seen them four times and one of them was in Mexico City🇲🇽. Heading to Japan 🇯🇵next month to catch their gig with The Warning. Digging your channel!! Keep Rocking amigos!!!👍🏼🤟🏻🤙🏻
Thank you for reacting to the greatest rock band in the universe. Saw them live twice last year on their US tour. No need to go to Japan,. They tour the US every tour except for Covid. Edit- 1 last thing. They are known for sounding amazing live. It's no editing or studio tricks. They sound this great in person.
It's such a bittersweet feeling, balancing the pure joy at seeing Miku's dreams of world domination come true with the realization that they probably won't be serving at small venues like the Ace of Spades in Sacramento (@1,000 max) or August Hall in San Francisco (950). As INCREDIBLE as that 10th Anniversary tour finale was (and I WILL get to Japan to see one of their Big shows!), theres something really special about the connection that you feel at the smaller places. 🤘😂🤘 Thanks for the great reaction! 🤘🤩🤘
Saiki, vocals wrote the lyrics. The back story is a close friend's husband cheated on her. So Saiki came up with the lyrics, with the band creating the music. Next - "Puzzle" live and for fun a Miku's Time video, just search YT several will come up.
Band Maid is absolutely fantastic and you will never have enough. I love this group, and in the same way I love 5 other fantastic ladies of another Japanese group called Lovebites, which is strictly metal. Allow me to suggest you take a look at them too, and I'm sure you won't regret it. In the meantime, thanks for the nice reaction.
I drove from Canada 🇨🇦 to USA 🇺🇸 with my sister to see Band-Maid live and what incredible experience we where lucky enough to see the 10 year anniversary show to was amazing 🤩 MISA MISA MISA the bassist smile at twice got it once when I was recording the show Akane on drums is a beast she amazing she smiled at me and my sister when we were standing outside by the tour bus 🚎 we kept our distance to respect the band but Akane noticed us and she wave 👋 to us was amazing the lead singer Saiki noticed my sister in the balcony and pointed up to my sister Kanami lead guitarist she amazing 🤩 one of the best guitarist around and then Miku the founder of the band she learned how to play guitar 🎸 she never used to play guitar at all until Kanami started to teach her and now Miku is amazingly talented musician and singer thx 🙏 for checking them out one of the best bands around if you ever get a chance to see them live do it it’s worth every single penny 😊🤟 cheers 🍻
Favorite band in the world, bar none. Merch is only sold 4-5 times a year for about 2-3 weeks at a time. Only buy from official sources as there are many sites that sell bootlegs. I’m a MAJOR collector and have extras I’d be willing to share. I’m sure people here will vouche for me. Fan made merch is a huge part of the fandom. SJ Nix - MAID NEWS NETWORK.
Like others I saw them last August. Fun show. My friends who have been to many shows didn’t want it to end and that was after a an hour and a half show. The tour last year was part of their tenth anniversary tour. Some songs to check out Thrill, Dice, After Life, Warning, Glory, Sense, Different, and Don’t Let Me Down. The last was from early in their career.
Their 1st US visit was at an anime convention, Sakuracon, in Seattle 2016. 2nd was the J-Pop Summit in San Francisco in 2017. Their MV "Before Yesterday" was filmed during the Seattle trip. Then their first regular concerts where LA and SF in 2018. In 2019, NYC, Dallas, LA. Then COVID happened. So they came back in 2022 for a big tour and another big tour in 2023, where they did a lot of the music festivals. They haven't been to Europe since 2019 so European fans hope their next tour will include Europe.
At live shows, you get these added or extended solos and intros. A bonus for the Masters and Princesses who attend their Okyu-ji's (what they call their live shows..."Servings"). Their MC's are also very entertaining. Especially in the MC where Miku (second lead, backing vocals, rhythm guitar, main lyricist and band founder) does her Omajinai Time (Magic Spell Time). She is often trolled by the other members during this time. But the master entertainer Miku is, she moves with the flow and incorporates into her routine, which just makes it more fun to watch. This along with the fact they tweak every show's setlist, make each show unique. BTW...They also call their fans Masters and Princesses. This along with the Okyu-ji and Omajinai Time and their Maid Battle Armor (what they call their outfits) all ties in with Miku's vision for the Japan Maid Cafe Theme image she wanted the band to have. PO!🕊
Wow guys, good reaction there, a little warning, the more you hear, the more you want to hear. The maids have a large catalog of songs, there is actually not a bad song in their 130+ catalog,.Concert with The Warning 12th of june in Japan so watch out. Just subscribed
Us? The MAIDIACS? Tight knit? Devout? Hmmm…I never noticed! LOL All hail Roger Chance! XX - Thanks for the reaction! Next up: From now on! More BAND-MAID please!
I don't think Saiki has any Latina blood, but they are about to have a bunch of Latina company! Band-Maid and The Warning are playing together in Tokyo on June 12th.
After two song you are Maidiacs Welcome , next just go to there channel n pick anything Live or Mv they are all great BAND-MAID will never Dissapoint , They toured the U S in Oct 2022 I saw them in Seattle that time , during that tour Kanami composed a song n Miku n Saiki did the lyrics , as a Thank you to the fans for showing them so much love , the song is Memerable , in 2023 they toured the U S twice once in May then again in Auguest saw them in Spokane in Aug Fantastic shows they are Amazing , MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Bass Assassin .
The talent they have is ridiculous, but if you watch their behind the scenes documentaries, they are so grounded and humble. Plus, all have a genuine friendship with each other.

Others that come to mind are BRATS (cofounded by one of the members of Ladybaby), Drop’s, Stereopony, Scandal (still touring globally), and Princess Princess, which all tend more in the pop direction. On the metal side, there are the Bang-Dream projects, which are live groups based on Manga series (there are 9 bands so far in Bang-Dream). And of course, there are other female-fronted Kawaii-metal groups like Ladybaby and Ironbunny, to name the two best-known after Babymetal. I have found listings of over 600 such bands dating back to 1980. The ones listed above are my picks as the most interesting for reasons of quality, longevity or historical impact. If you find others you think belong on this list, please let me know. And if you find a dead link, also please let me know so I can fix the list. Thank you!
You have opened an amazing can of worms. Band-Maid has so many great songs I would recommend Play & Puzzle live and then to see a little different side Manners/Blackhole live. And to expand your horizon more they are playing with The Warning on June 12 in Japan. The Warning are 3 sisters from Mexico who will rock your socks off check out their song Hell you call a dream live at Pepsi Center
Okay next songs should be Don't You Tell ME and then Endless Story from this same show. When watching endless story remember that this is the last song of a 3-hour and 15 minute show to commemorate their 10th year together. It's very emotional. Leave the subtitles on for sure for that one.
This band is awesome!!!!! More reacts please!!!!!! Also, down the Japanese rabbit hole check out "LOVEBITES" (Holy War), "NEMOPHILA" (Oiron), and "FATE GEAR" (Headless Goddess)!!!!!!! No disappointments with any of their songs really!!!!! Thank you for what you do!!!!!
I'm a 57 year old Brit. I flew to Japan last year just to see these ladies play live. I saw them four times across Japan in nine days. They didn't play the same set twice. C'mon ... what band would play with them? Ok, maybe The Warning ;) .
@@PANIC_aka_PinD They are worthy!
@@PANIC_aka_PinD The Warning and Band-Maiko. That's it. 😝
Wow you are so lucky that is insane!!!!!! So jealous!!!!!
I'm flying out in June to see them & The Warning in Tokyo! *can't wait*
@@raddofzennla Izakaya by Po-san?
@@BRO-HI808 yeah, were you there?
@@raddofzennla yup, but it's a big group...I was at the end of the last table. On the smaller table seating side. One of the 2 guys from Hawaii.
Honestly you are so lucky that is amazing!!!!
So you got to raise your hand when Miku asked for people that have seen them multiple times. Lucky lucky dog with great music tastes.
Worth searching "Rolling Stone bandmaid Lopalooza" for their take.
Wow!!!!! Well hope they come back if not I’m dragging Cody to Japan!!!
@@XplorationXpedition they'll be back. The only reason they haven't left Japan this year is probably because they're recording a new album right now. After that I'd expect them to start touring again.
@@jeffersoncosgrove1910 new album! Sickkkkkk
went to 2 shows (Philly 2022 & Houston 2023) in that period! They were great!
Yes, Yes, Yes👏🏻🤘🏻✌🏻
Exactly!!!!!
I am 63 years old and grew up listening to Jimi Hendrix. Kanami is the most interesting guitarist I have heard since Jimi.

Ah ok thanks!!! I gotta check out Amazon!!! Yes, we are definitely enjoying the Japanese rock scene now!!!
I'm so jealous! I got a ticket but can't attend the show with The Warning, darn work...LOL Enjoy for all the Maidiacs who can't make it! PO!🕊
It has so many amazing set pieces & stand out moments that it's difficult to express just how awesome the whole concert was.🥲
Go ahead and try ... we'll wait :p .
Difficult, but never impossible for Gary to tell the tale :)
@@PANIC_aka_PinD I thought you might. The Maids having a walkway that ran around the whole upper tier that they used to walk around the arena whilst playing being just one of many. All those fans at the back that had been watching little ant Maids suddenly got not much bigger Maids walking in front of them.😂
Did you catch the Day Of Maid live stream? Another amazing performance and excellent sound. They just keep getting better.
@@GaryHolloway-810 Too realistic ... I was hoping for a story about you flying around with Mincho while filming UNNLEASH!!!!! ... animated Gary ;) .

When you're right you're right... 2022 (I saw them in Dallas) AND 2023, twice in '23. Thanks for the reaction!
Hah! Me too. I was at the "Mr Rocknroll show" . Next down in Houston and way up in Minneapolis where I was one off the rail in between Misa and Kobato. Unfreakin' believable.
@@me262a1 My dumb a$$ shoulda just got in the car and headed south. Missed opportunities!
THE best Hard Rock band in the history of Hard Rock bands. And, yes, that does include all future history too! 🤘🤣
Nice reaction thanks for sharing XX .I have seen them in Houston on May 14th at the Bayou Music Center,a 22-song set, and then followed them to Austin literally followed their tour bus and got to meet them all at a Buc-cees stop incredible band the best on this planet right now
Wow 22 song set sounds intense!!! And that’s so cool you followed them and met them 😮
Nice reaction. To me Band Maid has remarkable ability to sound like everyone without sounding like anyone.
100% agree!
*BAND MAID!*
Yes the tour in the US last year..

Band-Maid is their own genre and they were in the US in 2023 as well ! I saw them at the Rockville Festival in Daytona Speedway =) Great Reaction and Your sound is pretty good ! The Blooming MV is a must ✌🤘
Not LIVE the MV. This is rare because no matter how excellent the MV is the LIVE version is nearly always superior. IMHO.
Thats how the best current rock band on the planet does it !!!!!!!!
Glad to see Roger and the rest of the B-M posse have been feeding you guys right. Couple of bangers to start off the journey with for sure.
going to be an easy 1500. Lets go Maidiacs! watch Blooming MV, you guys will really like it. luv your reactions
You're right. When they were in the US in fall 2023 I saw them twice. And summer 2024, I saw them two more times. They are an absolute blast live. Obviously, they're great musicians but they are also funny and play with the crowd. They are also the kindest group I have ever seen. They truly love their fans.
Do not feel bad that you just discovered them, be excited!! You have an incredible catalog of music to look forward to. 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂🕊
I see you are loving the lyrics. Band Maid's lyrics are fresh, deep, and beautiful as a haiku, accented by brilliant musicianship.
Ohhhh we so deeply enjoyed them!!!

I've seen them stateside twice, over the past 2 years. Both shows were amazing! Sadly, they did not bring the light show overseas, but they still put on a heck of a show. If you're on the floor, there's a chance you might catch a pick, when they're done.
Ohhhhhh!!!! Cody can catch a pick!!!! Hahahaha

Than you for reacting to BAND-MAID. But the way love the shirt man.
Subscribed. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
Definitely worth seeing them live if you can. PO!🕊
I definitely agree that they are their own genre. Great way to put it. It is an incredibly intense long set list for sure!!!!!
Thank you!

The reactor Mr. Rock and Roll was recognized from the stage by Saiki and then the other Maids! It was a cool thing to see!
Going to their live show is beyond just watching their musical skills, they sure will serve you with a very warm and intimate vibe,
I am so happy that y’all enjoyed Band-Maid because they are awesome and I really love them for being great musicians that write amazingly consistent great songs and are incredible sounding live and pretty fun on stage making their loyal fans smile and laugh while playing high energy music.
Hate live is one of the best hard rock songs of recent years🎀
I love seeing this band live, I'll go see them every time they come to the US. I guarantee they'll be back next year.
The Maidiacs love the Maids. So much great music from Band Maid
The best live rock band I have heard...and I have been making music for money since 1967.

Thanks for the great reaction!
Was there (from LA), and the icing on the cake was meeting the Band Maid fan base, Po! 🦍🍌
Band Maid =happiness

I don't think Saiki has any Latina blood, but they are about to have a bunch of Latina company! Band-Maid and The Warning are playing together in Tokyo on June 12th.

There are many more.
The Maids are absolutely the best band on the planet
Okay next songs should be Don't You Tell ME and then Endless Story from this same show. When watching endless story remember that this is the last song of a 3-hour and 15 minute show to commemorate their 10th year together. It's very emotional. Leave the subtitles on for sure for that one.
WELCOME TO BANDMAID
This band is awesome!!!!! More reacts please!!!!!! Also, down the Japanese rabbit hole check out "LOVEBITES" (Holy War), "NEMOPHILA" (Oiron), and "FATE GEAR" (Headless Goddess)!!!!!!! No disappointments with any of their songs really!!!!! Thank you for what you do!!!!!
May I suggest Domination LIVE (NOT the MV) next? Before Hate, it was the de facto introductory video to introduce the Maids.
Nice reaction greeting from germany
Thank you 🙌
