    All printed parts except the strap collector (black green part) using the printed bottle and the final cost of this printer is $ 100 and this looks good.
    I am waiting for your comments, thank you for liking, if you like this type of video, become a member of our channel and ring the bell to be informed of our new ideas.

    So, it's plastic bottles, stepper motors, several sheets of acrylic, a laser cutter, linear bearings, lead screws, extruder, limit switches, extruder, controller board and another 3d printer.

    wow great project. There are several videos on how to assemble 3d printers but none that goes directly to the point without many complications and well explained like this one. great job.
    I want to leave a separate fact: I have a tronxy brand 3d printer and unfortunately there are no improvement parts on the internet created by the community to be able to modify it to direct extrusion. my printer has a bowden system so it is difficult for me to be able to print with pet, but I have discovered that if I cut 9.5 mm bottles, I can print with bowden and at least with my printer the ideal temperature is from 248 to 252 degrees and the pieces come out with a transparent tone. I have achieved the best results with a nozzle of 0.4 at a layer height of 0.1. increasing the flow between 130% to 150%.
    Obviously if they can have a printer with direct extrusion it would be better, but at least with these tests I have been able to print. I share this in case it helps someone too...

    Hi, I was wondering why you utilize PET bottles rather than also using HDPE? Is there any particular reason to not use HDPE bottles for recycled printing?

    • @mr3dp
      @mr3dp  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you for your opinion, all 3D printing of this channel is using plastic bottles and the goal is to use plastic bottles better and recycle them better.

    In the Industrial Age, the factory employed (used) you. Now, you can employ the factory.
    In the Industrial Age, you made what the factory was designed to make. Now, the factory makes what you tell it to make, and it doesn’t need to be retooled to make something else. It makes exactly the number needed, exactly when they’re needed. Mass-production is no longer the only way to make things, and mass-production no longer needs to be the model for all our institutions - business, school, government. The Machine is no longer giant, scaled outside the grasp of human hands, but small, inexpensive, and available to all. The Machine is no longer special purpose, but general purpose, and reprogrammable on the fly. It is no longer strictly about the endless reproduction of the same product, but now an engine to enable individual creativity.
    The 3D printer (and the laser cutter, and the desktop CNC machine) shifts the locus of agency from the corporate to the personal. It disperses production from the center out to the periphery and the margins. It marks the end of the Consumer as a primary identity. It will never be a consumer product because, by definition, if you’re using a 3D printer, you’re not acting in the role of consumer. It converts the waste and trash of the mass-production economy into more of itself. The more inkjet printers get mass-produced and thrown away, the more stepper motors and toothed belts and ABS plastic cases move swiftly from tech to trash to treasure to tech.
    How could a global pandemic disrupt the supply chain if production and distribution were radically decentralized? We’re seeing the brittleness of the centralized, mechanical mass-production/mass-consumption paradigm exposed by a virus. And we’ve seen the decentralized production of PPE with desktop manufacturing tools. Open Source/DIY printers like this one pluck manufacturing out of the hands of the corporations, and there’s no Prometheus to be tied to a rock. A million little fires are already burning all over the world. A million and one. A million and two...
