Set your goal a little smaller Keith, and after you achieve it work your way up. What have you got to lose? You'll always end up ahead! For me, my journey will start with a Highfield dinghy. They would normally hang on the back or be stowed on deck. Afterward, I'll move on. And I too have challenges with severe arthritis.
Can the sails be handled completely from within the pilothouse without even stepping out? Because you for sure won’t want to open the doors when the sea is heavy.
Great boat but clumsy presentation. Still, it wouldn't put me off buying the boat but I think the presenter needs to put a bit more polish into her spiel. I really like the class of boat and would seriously consider buying this or any other good second hand example of the 56MS.
Too much exposed teak... And those warping drums in the cockpit used to run the gennaker? Why would you use a stern mounted warping winch on a sail on the bow?
she works for Nordhavn and the boat is made and sold by Nordhavn. So it's "their" boat/model. Not sure how that detracts from the boat itself, it's quite a common thing to do.
TV? What a nonsense. This ship you can sail without actualy sailing it. To slick for me, i am more a wooden deck and brass kinda guy. Heck you can buy a bluewater vessel for a couple of grands where i live.
Being moderately handycapd, (no legs) I would not hesitat one second to buy this adventure. If only I had the resources. Go forth and dream freely.

She did not mention weather or not the vessel had an ssb radio or radar or weather, the boat can be handled single-handed, or do you need a crew.
Weird comment
Walk through videos are helpful to see the actual layout.

whoa....I'm glad they still making this.
My absolute favorite boat. I love it. MS is what I would like to have. Thanks for sharing
Just wish they had controls to ease the winches from the Stidd.

No do you see any winch’s in the pilot house?
Are they still being made ? Or discontinued?
Great walkthrough

You did a great job Valerie. Jeff Meryl would be proud! This is my favorite boat of all time!
Nice motor sailor, one of my favourites with the Nordhavn name, go anywhere boat!
It's a nice boat, but I would vastly prefer the 3 cabin version. Just can't see a 56' boat that only sleeps 2 comfortably.
My dream to take this baby around the world. Perfect combination of size, durability, motor endurance and sail efficiency.
Nice boat but poor présentation. Norhavn deserves better.
What a lovely combination, however I'll stick to motorboats/yachts for the foreseeable future, many thanks.

I totally agree!.
💯
You can handle the sails from the pilot house, just step out. How funny!
This would be great.

The sheets for the cruising spinnaker need to lead back to the stern due to the size of the sail

Count how many times she says “our” when it is clearly neither hers or mine. Detracts from a really good idea of a sailable trawler.

I love the concept of the MS56 but this was one of the worst and seemingly uninformed reviews I've seen.
