I may be across the Tasman however, I'm all the more grateful that the usually pretty crap youtube algorithm managed to direct me to this channel. How could this woman from Aotearoa/New Zealand not subscribe to such great content? Cheers.
Boy there sure isn't much plant life out there to forage on if one needed to live off the land. Wonder what edible wild plants there are there? I used to love to go foraging before becoming disabled. Plants are usually plentiful here in the South of the USA though. But we don't have quality opal here! Nothing like in Australia! Wow that looks so dangerous and scary...and now we see why opal is so expensive! I'd be wearing me some goggles and mask to beat the dust...I can't imagine how they can tolerate all that dust and dirt. Not to mention miners can get silicosis, a lung disease. Blessings for the opal miners to soon come to an agreement and get all the new paperwork done that they now need so that opal mining can resume!
Thank you for watching! We have Aṉangu friends who we have gone out bush with over the years and found bush bananas, quongdongs, and tea tree which is good for all sorts of ailments.
Thanks mate! These days the hard work is almost as good as opal, especially in contrast to sitting at a desk in the city! Yeah, that cave in would not have been a good look, squashed people and stuff lol..
Thanks mate! We really should hey! Only thing is we are usually just mining, the video bit is 'whip out the phone, chuck up the drone or whack on the gopro' haha..
Amazing to learn more about the effort that goes into the search for the beautiful opals offered at World Class Opal! 🤯
Another bloody awesome video!
Thanks guys! Coming from the total YT KINGS, that’s much appreciated! 😄
