Ive got a old 87' suzuki gs450l I'm still surprised no ones tried stealing it
I have a 95 gs500e. Still I use 2 locks and a cable to lock it to my car wheel. Right in front of my window.
I'm the 'had the same bike forever' dude. "How many miles you got on that thing?". You can't tell them because the odometer broke long ago. But you've owned for more than 15 years and yes, a whole host of make-shift fix-it repairs.

I’m a COVID nurse and road my Ninja 400 (that I decided on because of you) to Houston. Some asshat tried to steal my bike out of the hospital parking lot. Instead of just picking it up, they got a screwdriver stuck in the ignition and left. 😭 She’s all better now though.

Wow... I am definitely rider #1. Studied automotive engineering, former certified auto technician, love going to track days, got a ton of tools in my garage to wrench on my cars... aaaaaand then I purchased a motorcycle. To be honest, I didn't want a motorcycle, I wanted a mountain bike with a motor that I can also ride around town... that's why I purchased a 250cc dualsport (WR250R).

I know I might sound out of place but I love cars, its just recently I got into bikes. I've seen a lot of videos like these and most I not all of these stereotypes exist in the car community as well.( One more thing some car guys do like bikes but are too scared or just too occupied (by cars) to try). I would most certainly love both.

That’s why I don’t bother with bike night. I’m out collecting miles. But that one time I rode my vintage Honda Cub scooter to bike night. It’s pristine and has a basket. I parked that lil scooter right in the middle of the divide between the sport bikes and Harley’s . They all laughed. But I just smiled and had the last laugh. As soon as the ladies saw that lil Honda they quickly gathered around it and asked for rides. Your kawasukiyahonda rocket or chromed out Harldy can’t hold a candle to The lil Honda Cub, its a chick magnet.

Dammit, I'm a combo of several of these. My Honda is a never ending money pit, and the z125 was the gas saver/keep mileage off the corolla.
I am a 63 year old harley man, gave up riding because of problems from clutch operations. I remember my 600 ninja and loved it. Start to look for a bike with easy clutch operations with a good price. Do you have any ideas? I am 5'11 @ 185 lbs. long waisted.

Subjucts: I have been looking for a good used sport cruiser under 9k. What would you suggest around 900 ci. Looking for dual front disc, inverted forks. Not easy. Off that subject. Since you like track time. What is your opinion on a light sport tour. What is your opinion on the legendary 800vfr compared to your Daytona. It was the bike for a decade. Now it's off the grid.

Our bike nights might have more than a few women riders, but they are almost always married and there with their spouse.
OMG 1 is literally what I am intending to do, my Mustang is an unreliable piece of garbage and has tried to kill me multiple times and I don't really have the space for two cars, so I was thinking about picking up an endorsement and a little Ninja 250 becuase I love the flashy neon styling and "slow car fast" concept.
My dad also rides and I was interested in doing something we could connect with since he doesn't really understand the idea of a "tuned car" beyond the looks, and is more concerned about MPG, even before gas was 5 a gallon.
I've never been to a bike night, dont even have a bike yet, but I quite like adventure bikes. Are there any more off road oriented bikes or is it mainly sport bikes and cruisers?

Unfortunately with this Covid bullshit I have not been able to attend any bike nights and I was really looking forward to this year after getting on a bike after 22 years. I had to make up with it by making a UA-cam channel and trying some more of logging so I can interact with other riders.
I guess I'd be called #4. But guy's like me rarely will ever go to a bike night unless I had something else going on close by

Before I got my first bike I had a scooter. And while nobody stole the scooter itself I did have someone steal the trunk. On Christmas eve they broke the entire trunk off the back of the scooter.

As far as the girl rider, that is my girlfriend. She has been riding longer than most. I don't even waste my time trying to keep up when she gets the itch to cruise at a 100mph on her Softail 103. She is as good as any guy and gets the respect. I'm actually probably the slowest rider in the group
