11:55-12:33 One more thing worth noting about Ichiro's rookie year. He's one of just 2 rookies to win the MVP. The other one is Fred Lynn back in 1975.
6:45 I never expected that version of Giancarlo Stanton on the Yankees to begin with but if we can at least have half of what he was in 2017, I'll be satisfied since right now he's not even 5% of that anymore. He was about 70% of that in his first year in pinstripes.
Not a Cleveland fan (quite the opposite, as big Tigers fan), but J-Ram always missing out on an MVP is sad. He’s one of those guys who’s always in the top 2-5, and he’s so good you can’t help but think he should’ve won one somewhere.
1:10 So Baltimore Orioles have won the MVP in my lifetime. That may change soon though with Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, or Jackson Holliday. Or maybe even a free agent signing now that the Angelos no longer own them.
5:07, Cheating or not, Aaron Judge got robbed. The 2 month slump did hurt Judge's chances because his batting average dipped so badly by then but he still walked a lot and hit 22 second half home runs. Judge is also always has been the far better defensive player. Yes batting average still matters but does defense not matter too?
I can see the argument for either player. Judge's numbers were actually superior overall, Altuve had him on hits/average/steals. I don't think the race deserved to be that lopsided esp considering both teams made the playoffs.
I got to see 2 players combine for 3 MVPs on my team. A-Rod and Aaron Judge Hopefully either Aaron Judge or Juan Soto make it 2 or 3 players combine for 4 MVPs in my lifetime this year.
How does the Big Unit not have any MVPs during any of those dominant pitching years? 2002 his best chance should've been his, if not for the Roid monster.
He didn't cheat tho, but even with that theres a helluva argument Judge should've won, unfortunately he was a victim of old school thinking proritizing average and strikeout rate, the only two stats that Altuve demolished Judge, whilst being beaten in pretty much the rest (higher fwar if I'm not mistaken tho)
Wow I can't believe it's been 70+ years since a Cleveland player won MVP

As a Padres fan, can’t believe Tony Gwynn Sr haven’t won an MVP
I will never forgive the Red Sox for trading Mookie Betts
Good job on these! Subscribed.

That was an awesome video
Can you make this, but with Cy Youngs?
Thats on my list
@@homerunproductions162nice can’t wait to see it
In my opinion the greatest MVP caliber player is Mr. Cub himself Ernie banks he is a legend
Didn't he get caught beeting dawgs in the streets of philadelphia though brugh?
Buster Posey is just THAT GUY.
Freeman was and is crazy. Love airtime thrills
Thanks for the video. I just picked up a Lenovo Chromebook with low specs (4gb RAM and 16gb EMMC storage), and hope to install Small Damn Linux on it.
Bobby Witt Jr will break Kansas City’s streak
If they can get a winning team then yeah definitely
Well I can at least say I’m glad STL has had a few MVPs and that Nolan Arenado was the only one to go to the All Star Game in 2023
Noland Arrownado is nothin' but a Bunt Citch brigh.
@@jennyanydots2389bro what
3:35, so my parents weren't even born last time a Cleveland Indian/Guardian won the AL MVP! Wow!
Ripken is so underrated. Everyone agrees he is HOF worthy, but his offensive and defensive numbers actually have him as one of the greatest ever.
A lot of people think he was just the guy who played every day, but he was really geat
9:13 One of the things Moneyball didn't highlight!
every time i see a cubs play i go and wash my hands im a cardinals fan
2016!!!!!!!!
you are losing the best players not looking good for you just saying
Every time I see a cub I cry. I’m an Indians fan

13:45-14:24 That version of Josh Donaldson would've been so much nicer to have on the Yankees instead of the one they got instead.
Mookie Betts is a amazing

8:38 Not only did Judge need a season for the ages to win MVP but also just for the Yankees to make the playoffs that year.
That was a wild tailspin they ended up in during the 2nd half
Trout is still officially on pace to retire with more MVP awards than playoff hits
Hahaha oh that's savage
can you make this but with world series?
That could be an interesting one
More expansion? Isn't 30 teams enough? Do we need to water down the talent pool even further?
There's enough talent. You just don't know what it looks like boy.
Where did you get expansion out of this video
Does "Every Team's Last Rookie of the Year" appear on this channel?
Not yet, but it will soon
I still say that Ryan Braun one should be vacated.
Donaldson won over Trout because he was better after the all star break and put up an obscene August while Trout was horrible in August.
Trout still should’ve won
I am not happy about Jose Altuve getting the mvp in 2017.It should be judge.
Womp womp
What is up with all these AI VoiceOver videos lately?
Not AI, just a guy trying to speak words into a microphone without slurring

Just a correction, it's not the "Los Angeles Angels" They dont play in Los Angeles and aren't even located in Los Angeles County, it's Anaheim Angels
That seems like an issue to take up with the Angels organization , since they made the decision to change the team's designation in that regard.
@@robertmurdock1848 Logic & reason dictate that it changed
2017 was tainted but 2018 wasn't? lmao. Also it was a league wide issue, so get over it.
Never heard anyone claim Mookies MVP was tainted but maybe you can make a point
How does the Big Unit not have any MVPs during any of those dominant pitching years? 2002 his best chance should've been his, if not for the Roid monster.
His dominance pretty much coincided with Bonds and the other roiders putting up gaudy offensive stats
Great video, but your speech rhythm is the worst I’ve ever heard.
Thanks, but worst ever dang that's harsh
