This was only 1 month after his baby died. I know people grieve in different ways, but it seems like he didn't grieve at all. It was like Prince just wanted to pretend the baby had never happened, and just went on with his life. And then he made Mayte do that awful Oprah interview where he showed the empty nursery but wouldn't say where the baby was. Weird and sad.

i think prince had a way of dealing with sadness by reassuring to others and himself that everything was under control and ok. from lots of stories it didn’t sound like he was good at emotions so, in this case, i think he was in heavy denial or something. the Oprah thing was probably him trying to get people to stop talking about the baby but i don’t know. its all still awful tho.
