In this video we go over one of the simplest easiest ways to make a terrific carp bait. Rice pack bait is well known for catching fish in paylakes but it works very well in wild waters. This is a favorite bait recipe of mine for carp fishing and catfish alike. Hope you enjoy.

How about a video on how to cast pack bait. Your other videos sure make it clear on using and prepairing pack bait. However about 1/2 to 3/4 of the time I end up with the packed bait going one way and my pick up going the other. Your teaching on casting techniques would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your informative works.
I did do a video on how to use pack bait. I showed a couple ways on packing it and in a few of my newer vids I talk about it. I can try to do another one but the truth is its one of those things that you just have to get out there and do it. Everybody I know that I got into carp fishing struggled with it at first and then when it clicks it clicks you can pack it and throw it a mile. The key is just having it centered inside the ball of bait.

Awesome video Josh!! Loved it and Im anxious to try it out this weekend! I gave your Panko recipe a try last weekend in a city park lake thats managed by the Tn. Wildlife Resource Agency and I was very impressed by the results that this bait produced! Thank you again for sharing your tips and tricks and giving new anglers a chance to experience the fight of a lifetime! Oh and a question about bait recipes so living here in west Tn. where carp fishing hasnt caught on yet its tough to walk in a bait shop and get the flavors however Im going to your link for Hawg Sauce now and seeing what I can stock up on and order. In the mean time for this weekend I was curious if theres a substitue you can use if youre out of flavoring. For instance can you take a Jell-o falvor and mix it with say Karo or something else to add a decent flavor to dry mix?
Sure you can use jello Kool aid things like that. If it's a dry flavor mix it into the dry ingredients

Never tried I doubt it. You need a quick type rice like minute rice

I professor to use ( Redbull or Monster juice) , as they have that SOMETHING 🤔 EXTRA ingredients. It's like, you need that coffee in the morning.

Good question and I honestly couldnt tell you off the top of my head if I have or not. I would assume they would hit it but Ive done the best with bean meal and buffs.

I've tried every version of that because i hate ketchup but the ketchup makes a difference haven't caught any on the pop or juices
I uploaded a few videos using rice with soda catching fish. I haven't noticed a difference in catch rate myself. Some days don't seem to matter what ya got won't hit anything

I followed this recipe and my bait seems to sticky. I can't get it to pack nice like yours
@livinlarge103106 if it's sticky then it either hasn't set long enough or you have moisture on your hand. If your hand is wet it makes it sticky
