    - Foam Roller Pilates Mat Workout -
    Move with Foam Roller Pilates Exercises in this 30 minute workout. Because the foam roller is unstable it will challenge you with some exercises. It will also offer support to some of the Pilates exercises.
    This is an Intermediate Pilates Class because the roll over exercise is included in the Pilates workout. You can always opt-out of this exercise or do another variation that’s best for you.
    This is a Full Body at home Pilates Workout and brings a little inspiration from the reformer on the mat Pilates workouts. You won’t need any equipment for the class besides a cushy Pilates Mat. And as a helpful tip, for the standing exercises, you may want to step off the mat so the surface is more stable.
    Have fun and move with this 30 minute total body Pilates workout.

    I hope you enjoy this class. As a helpful tip, if your hamstrings cramp with the pelvic curl exercise, try it without the foam roller.

    Another winner. Thanks, Beth! Long time fan of the foam roller, fun to do new stuff with it. My pandemic daily "trifecta" is to write a page of journal, do a Trifecta Pilates I haven't done before, then get outdoors for walk no matter what the weather. It makes a nice difference in my mood and imparts a feeling of well being. It's amazing how much more uplifting a walk is right after a mat workout; it helps me hit my stride. I very much appreciate Beth's creativity, her technical expertise, and her sharing them both!

    Thank you for another great class! I discovered your channel a couple weeks ago and have been enjoying the workouts so much. There's a problem I keep running into that I haven't been able to find a solution for by searching online. If you don't mind my asking, do you know of any modifications for movements that have you holding onto your thighs or shins? Like in a single-leg stretch, for example? My arms are too short for me to get a grip on them. If not, no worries at all. I really appreciate your classes and can't wait to join a Pilates studio when it's safe to do that.

      I have two... You can always keep your hands behind your head or just reaching the arms forward as well. Same exercise, different arm position.

    I really like working with the roller. Strangely, though, with it under my hamstrings, I couldn’t get up into the teaser variation at all. It was like my back was glued to the mat! Anyone else have that issue?

      Sometimes this happens with new options which isn't a bad thing. try the class a few more times and see if that makes a difference.
