Dude i wish this was a bumper you could just buy .this eould sell out quick .it looks so uniqe but uniqe dosnt always meen nice looking but in this case i have no words dude you put so much time and effort and it looks sick props.keep up the good work.
Bro, I'm from SA, and honestly, I appreciate what you do . Keep on doing what you're doing ! I have a citi golf 1983 model with an original 4 speed transmission and a 1600 engine . It's a working progress, but I wish to get it close enough to what you've built 😂
Do you not squeegee the resin out and not use any peel ply to pull excess resin out of the carbon? Too much resin makes it heavy as well as weakens the structure.
@@eurokevin I've never laid any carbon, but have been watching a few videos for when I want to try my hand at a mini cooper build I'm going to do. Check out Mike Party and his Scrappy build. Its a plane, but he lays a lot of carbon fiber parts on it. Learning a good bit about it there and other channels. I do like what your doing. Keep up the work. Can't wait to see it all done.
Looks good man, should use that CF to make a over lay for the roof put random patches all cut down the pokies then finish it with another layer of resin to seal it. Then polish it! No one's done it yet
Hey you needed to rough up the fiberglass before applying the carbon at the beginning. This would give you the best bond. Also next time tape of the bottom bumper with plastic to stop drips. This will lessen the time of sanding and clean up. Also lay the inside with a layer the strengthen it.
Will be interesting to see the end result and what it will look like - I can not imagine right now but I am sure you have a vision 😁 So keep it up , greetings from Germany! 👍🏻
keep it zipped one day I will build a clean build but this is my baby and I’m gonna do it way wierd I’m bored of the clean mk1 look I do appreciate your opinions thanks though 🤘🏻
