I really understand why you have so many subscribers. I believe you inspire people to attack one off projects and make ideas from their imagination reality. I am budgeting to buy full aftermarket body kits, but watching this vid and all the work you did a mr2 really has inspired me to get a decent grasp on fiberglass fabrication and modding oem parts from the pull yard to make a unique kit.
Great job, really cool idea. And what a great and adorable little helper! Also a great idea getting him used to wearing his safety gear at a young age!
I know Ive said this before... but man I have to say you're doing a great job with that boy of yours... someday he'll look back at these and love you for this... It takes a good man to stand on his own. It takes a good man to show the love that children need without fearing that others around in view may feel him weak for it. Great work on the car... as always, but the best work youre doing is with your family. Much love and respect from Cincinnati!
Having your shorty help with the mod, made it THAT much better. I have a shorty that like to help too....SHE loves to help daddy "fix car"! He is soooo cute and funny!! Love him! I like how it ends with your son's Power Wheels working in the background. Tooooo funny!! Great Video!
I dont know what's better: watching you work your magic on the car, or watching you spend quality time with your boy. He's cute! So, did that guy really go ride the oor boor door? ;-)
Not an Audi fan but this info was so important to my ideas for a Lexus bumper, never considered cutting apart a junk pulled OEM set to make a personalized kit, really appreciate the vid 🔥🔥🔥
Your son gonna have a great memory,i and my dad used to make project like this but on a motorcycle..now i in the army,so hard to get back to my hometown..miss my dad
Good work. I modded the bumper on what then was a new 1989 Ford Escort here in the UK. Ford didn't offer fog lights so I fitted a combined fog/main beam that was semi recessed in the front nose cone , along with a universal splitter I made the bumper unique. Even now 20 cars on I am altering my new Tiguans bumper and improved that on my TT. Look forward to seeing it painted.
I LOVE how that bumper turned out. I just got a 2009 Hyundai Sonata & I was thinking of customizing it some in the spring (get my BUILT on), I'll have to save this video for when I do the front bumper. THANKS MAN!
*not sure that make sense? but make sense in my head!* the most word powerful heard in my life like saying *i don't give shit in the world* i loved. you're a men
It's more like a poor mans mod but with skills. I did a very similar thing a few years ago because I lacked money but if I had it I would buy the bumper instead. The funny part is that the car is still around and still looks good and doesn't have a rice vibe to it because it's an upgraded version of the original instead of a rice part.
If you go onto eBay and search B5 A4 L Type Bumper Lip you could buy it for $105 and put it on the front of the car. it would probably look much better with the larger grill modification and help the bumper flow much better with the bodykit as it adds a bit of a flare to the lower portion of the front bumper.
Great job, I would recommend using the 3M panel bond and flexible bumper repair epoxy vs JB weld . It works great but it is pricey, $40-50 a tube and you also need the dual tube gun . Makes things so much easier.
the redesign is a massive improvement but now the bottom looks too thin. I think adding a lip on the bottom will make it look alot more complete. Awesome work though!
This is exactly the stuff I did with my kids this is such good parenting it’s unreal. Man I’m super impressed you don’t see this all the way anymore. It’s like there’s no fabricators either. I have a g35 And I bought a Plenum spacer and I was embarrassed because I could literally bomb made that myself
Bro please dont let your kid in there ! I hope you realise how dangerous are those materials... It is not a joke or "Im tough and my son is too" thing - he is too small and there is no place for him to play dude !!!! I respect your work - you are great, really ! Without bullshit, you are different than 98% of other youtubers . Stay like that - dont be commercial like them ;) cheers
LOVE THE DIRECTION OF THE BUILD! Can’t wait to see the final product. I just actually cut my grill out of my bumper to clear my intercooler on my civic. Could you provide the link to the honeycomb abs plastic you got. I was about to use a chicken wire style mesh to cover the hole. But this turned out soo good. Almost factory! Also love how much you incorporate your little boy into the videos. My goal for the new year is to start a build Channel for my civic and my wife’s civic. And get my little boy who just turned three. Involved in it. Haven’t been a follower for too long. But I’m not subscribed to the notification squad and just binge watched all your videos. Keep up the A1 videos.
I did a similar project in my younger years. Excellent build but if I may suggest, to have the mesh plastic go around the bumper better without resistance , simply use a heat gun to somehow bend it to shape. Is that Corolla station wagon at the back? That is so cool!
I'm reading comments.... wait what¿ l've learned to read the comments because that there's where the wisdom grows--so anyway as a novice builder l'm like oh my goodness l just figured out blues glues now l have to make a splitter also 😳
That bumper looks way more agressive now! But I feel like it’s missing a lip/spoiler underneath, looks kinda naked. If you put a splitter or lip of some sort, it would make the car look lower, and also make that bumper look even more custom
I've got an older Transit Connect van and I do love this little vehicle. One thing that I've noticed about the new model is how much more aggressive the nose looks. The hood is much higher and more square and the lower bumper does look more like this. I love this transformation and I'm really impressed by the difference, but I'm wondering if there's a way to raise the hood in the same way. Get that nose up. I'm thinking that a large air intake vent that's very wide might help with the illusion, but is there anything else that could work for that particular aspect?
nice video, but try with steel or iron wire and 3 component fiber. you tinker thin steel slats of a shape that you want. with the carriers that puncture on the bumper. steel part of the bumper as a skeleton. over this, it disperses and spreads the fiber component as a patch and over it brushes the fiber and so in the layers. simply and not too expensive, and get the shape you want. it means using a steel wool for a temporary skeleton or even allowing the bumper to be full. You can also make a whole body kit
Do the grill with the Audi logo the same honey comb grill you just used. It would match better, In my opinion. Also, yes a splitter or a DIY lip would be awesome!
To me, it looks like it would fit a lip very well with the Silver Contrast of the Body. For cheap DIY, use Black Garden Trim and Pop-Rivets to create a custom splitter for cheap (Depending on the trimming you get.) Keep the Leftovers (There usually is a LOT) for new Projects.

8:30 Nobody will notice but I will notice and it will make me happy! That is a very powerful statement! I like it man.
I love how your kid just plays around while you film lol
It's adorable.
Great job, really cool idea. And what a great and adorable little helper! Also a great idea getting him used to wearing his safety gear at a young age!
Very cool. Your like a mad scientist with your little midget helper.
I think my heart melted when the kid started talking
I know Ive said this before... but man I have to say you're doing a great job with that boy of yours... someday he'll look back at these and love you for this... You're really inspiring man.
Also the B5 is one of my favorite cars ever. such a timeless design.
You should change the top grille to the honeycomb style too
Having your shorty help with the mod, made it THAT much better. I have a shorty that like to help too....SHE loves to help daddy "fix car"! He is soooo cute and funny!! Love him! I like how it ends with your son's Power Wheels working in the background. Tooooo funny!! Great Video!
Awesome! Love diy stuff like this. It's amazing how much more aggressive it looks, even if the bumper does not actually extend lower than before.
"Probably no one will ever notice, but I will notice, and it will make me happy"
That sums up why I do all this car stuff too :)
I think i've seen you before
Wait - you're the guy who modded the MR2!
You really are talented!
Nice to See you at work, i really love your Skill
Best thing about this video is you spending time with your boy.. Awesome.
Every time I watch one of your videos I think to myself this man is a genius the way he can make something stock look good
Your Director is the real boss little on the short side but definitely not afraid to boss you around 😍
Make your sons power wheel custom
True, that would be a good set of videos
Hell yeah run a couple batteries in series.
24v conversion ftw
WIDEBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That would be so cool
you always have the best background music for your sped up montages. makes your vids so much more enjoyable to watch.
Your son gonna have a great memory,i and my dad used to make project like this but on a motorcycle..now i in the army,so hard to get back to my hometown..miss my dad

Father-son quality times at its finest 👌👌👌

I'm learning so much about cars on this channel thank you for making such entertaining videos!
Nice improvement on the bumper, I like the direction that you took it! You're gonna have to get up with your son's style, he's killin' it😎
Found your channel today, found this video, super stoked to see how much there is to catch up on, I’ve been bored.
*not sure that make sense? but make sense in my head!*
the most word powerful heard in my life like saying *i don't give shit in the world* i loved. you're a men
I remember when my son followed me around asking what's that 😂 great video man 💯
@@BUILTOFFICIAL Few more years and he'll being crawling around inside the engine bay with you.
He is *NOT* a ricer

Yeah he's amazing
A ricer defending a ricer xD
I love the fact that you went the custom route and saved some money.
Looks cool, and you're right it needs a something on the bottom, but in my opinion the Datsun on the back ground at the end it's the coolest...
Your son will be a DIY god if you keep on showing him all this stuff

It has a weak chin. Everybody wants a strong jawline.
lol yeah man i JUST got that l type bumper lip today and installed... guess what i'll be doing to the rest of the bumper .... GREAT VIDEO!
heads up... that L type lip is pretty thin, cracked on first exit out my driveway. i can fix it but abs shouldnt crack that easy.
@@organikproduce Reinforce the back side with fiberglass. Maybe even put a thin steel rod in there to reduce flex.
@@shona5512 yep. Just a heads up for those who may be thinking that aftermarket lip would be as sturdy as stock.
Audi’s is the one of the cars that always looks good even without bumper
xdddddddddddd
Really 👌🔥
dude ur grammar is dead if u did type audi with the 's then dont type the is unlike u meant audis its not is its are -_-
looks very kool man . and the little guy makes your video hella fun.
This channel is just what I need! Just love it!
Straight fire bro, keep up and never give up.
Your lad is the star of the show
Looks really cool with his shades and hat

I watched the first 10 seconds and the last 10 seconds. That was a quick transformation! 😂😂😂
😅😃😃
you should have done that to the toyota at the back 20:34
There vids are just perfect for me as i have the same looking car and i'm building it to be better and nicer so these make me more inspired!
just a tip, you can use a soldering iron as a plastic welder. and use plastic strips cut from bottles or buckets as filler rod
The child gives the clip a nice taste Thanks for the work
America is so cool so many options of tuning❤ I wish I could make this in germany
add a lower front lip to sort of make the bottom part look sharper on the side...
Cupra R lip is great for that
That looks dope, a splitter for sure will give it that last little touch
creativity level 100
Thumbs up for his little helper, Hes so damn cute
Your son looks super cool and very smart thanks for the video.
This looking dope
A little lip would make it perfect
And your son is just the best 😂
Cupra R lip
The fact that you started the video with just car noise is calming
good job man , it came out great
Man how do you even come up with this stuff. You are so good at custom stuff. It's insane.

Lol, your son is awesome! I bet he will be an awesome car guy when he gets older, just like his dad 😎👍🏻
It looks so sick with a bumper delete
Looks like you have a great helper in the shop :)
Modifying stock bumper to be aggressive is always a step in the right direction! It’s perfect once you put the splitter on.

The multi saw make a much cleaner cut, about the width of a pencil line, try it I think you'll like it.
You earned a subscriber! Good video guy! I really need to see this finished . If it looks good then I will do the same. I love the way it looks so far
Loving the consistent uploads on the A4

way to go not having lil bit leave this is crucial to kids "learning" im 29 finally getting into cars
awwww hes so cute!! "whats that!" "its a bumper." "whats that?!" lol

Great job so far. Can't wait to see what you come up with for a lip/splitter.
I always wanted to experiment and modify my bumper just to see if I could get different look. might have to do it now!
How to make stock bumper looks cool
Stock looks cool mann

If thats not the dam CUTEST little helper hahahahahahahahah!!!!!, learning aready!!!!

How cute is the little man with his cool glasses 😎
