I was there on Monday the 14th and got a tour around the aircraft , very impressive , just missed out on this weekends flying display as I was due elswhere , would have loved to see them flying, Its a tribute to MR David Lowy for his contribution to this fine flight line of air worthy fighters , I think a big well done to all the people doing their bit to have this great museum .
I'm not keen on any background music. It's always too far in front. Especially on TV programs. It's all about dramatic effect. I hate it, like most others.
I had to turn the sound off to watch this. Please, for future videos, tone it down a bit. We come here to see the aircraft, not listen to overpowering music.
Great aircraft, good to see these are looked after thanks to all involved , please head the background advice given in previous comments Congratulations.
Great to see Airfix coming out with 'Grey Nurse' in 1/24 scale! I bought their 24 scale Mk IX thinking they'd never do an Aussie Spit in 1/24. Planned on converting it to a mark VIII and took a bunch of photos of Grey Nurse last year. Needless to say I've got their new kit on pre-order!
@@combataviationdefenceNot quite - it was maintained in airworthy condition until Martin Baker ceased support of the Ejection Seat. Last I heard the team is working to retrofit a newer generation seat.
@@TheKittyRanch yet the A-37 and Canberra both still fly with inactive seats! And why hasn't the Meteor flown for several years now? 100 SQN don't seem the most transparent organisation!

@@combataviationdefence I actually didn't mind it and thought it quite suitable.
Background music low please… and with some sort of heritage flavour in mind.
If you are going to do a narration, turn the background music down so the audience can hear it.
Thanks for the feedback

You lost me with the volume of the music

I will remake it without music.

Interested to know the status of the CAC Sabre...it went to Illawarra recently but I have not seen it featured in flight.
The Illawarra Sabre does not fly. I think the Sabre at Temora does
@@combataviationdefence Ok - I wasn't aware Illawarra had one. Thanks

Illawarra was Jeff Trappet’s Sabre.

Visited the museum. Disappointed not much to see. More in the service hanger which was not able to be viewed.
On the flying days there was lots to see and experience.
You can view the contents of the service hangar from upstairs; you just can't, normally, get up close to the aircraft.
Temora
Probably get more views if you spelled Temora properly, but good video, cheers.
Thanks for watching
How is it supposed to be spelt, thanks
