My mother would just wash her face with a warm wet towel, drink lots of water , and She would put on vasaline or co co butter. Had the clearest softest skin!
I don't even want to think about all the skincare products I've bought. On reflection, the products damaged my skin. I've especially noticed that my family, who live in countries where there's no skincare like us, with lots of sun, don't even know about the existence of sunscreen. They all have perfect skin!
Not even a sunscreen. Whenever I tried to use it every day it gives me breakouts . The same for toners, serums (specially niacinamide), etc. And when I stop using them bum! Clear skin. The only thing I use is a very basic moisturiser called Mixa (is French), a sponge to exfoliate my face sometimes, and that’s it. Every skin works differently and genetics also plays a role but I think leaving your skin work by itself is the best thing you can do.
I’ve stopped doing face masks and buying all these serums and essences and just decided to stick to basics. Now I have only 3 products: a cleansing gel, a moisturising cream and a sunscreen. My skin is soft and shiny, I barely have pimples and the best thing is that now I have more money and less stress.
@@swaraj1501 buy from big companies that have tested their products with scientifically proven ingredients. For cleanser and moisturizer, I recommend cereve cleanser. For morning, the cereve am moisturizer and sunscreen combo is good. And for nighttime, the cereve PM moisturizer is lightweight and has niacinimide. Why the same brand? cause its the best and cheapest.
Yep this is so true. My skin use to be flawless and I believed to maintain it I had to use these products. I have gradually seen the skin on my face decline and I have come to the point I need to stop. How terrible is it they market these items to ruin our skin.
same, i had great skin most of my life, then once i started using products it just got worse and worse. it's not worth it. i think simple maintenance is the way to go!
@@toonx3419 Almost never, only when they wear make-up. Since then, I've used almost no skincare, just a micellar water or cleansing balm, a moisturizer and azelaic acid from time to time to treat my scars. My skin is much, much better.
Things I've realised: 1- Know your skin. Most important and often neglected. If you know your skin can go on just fine without skin care products, then, by all means, save your bucks. And if you know your skin might need the treatment, then do buy products that work for you. Skin care is very personalised. 2- Keep it simple. stop buying x amount of products to use all at once. Less is more. 3- Have a realistic goal. Pick one skin issue you'd like to address at a time and do your thorough research on the best ways to curb it. And don't expect to look like the people on the cover, they aren't real. 4- See a dermatologist. Your issue might be beyond what Kim or Selena are using and/or selling. Meet with a professional that can tell you what your skin needs. 5- More expensive doesn't mean better. Save your money, pay your rent. Opt for cheaper alternatives that will work for you. 6- If it's working for you, stick to it. Don't be intimidated by others raving about some brand or some product. The devil you know is better than the angel you don't know (unless you know what you are using is essential and the brand you are using isn't effective, then you can opt for an alternative). 7- Take it slow. Don't rush your skin and don't force your skin. If it doesn't want a product, move on. 8- Stop your bad habits. Touching your face, not washing your pillow, certain foods that trigger your issues, etc. Some of you know what causes your skin issues, but instead of solving them, you buy all the products in heaven and earth. 9- Take care of your internal too, not just the external. Eat properly, drink water, exercise and all that good stuff. And if you can, buy some supplements you might be lacking that could help improve your diet (consult your doctor first and watch out for "health quacks" trying to sell you a dream) 10- Finally, love yourself at every stage. Gives you a realistic view of where your skin is at each phase and where you want it to go without feeling like it isn't good enough.
Couldn't agree more. Simple products like moisturiser, cleanser and spf caused me to develop rosacea, perioral dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis and acne which honestly left me suicidal I was in so much pain. 5 months no skincare and my skin is finally healing. Some of us have skin that is too sensitive for products but we are brainwashed by the beauty industry to use all these products to 'fix' the problems that these products actually create in the first place! I admire the message you're putting out there, but what is so bad about wrinkles and signs of aging that we need to consider botox anyway? I think women have become victim to a sexist agenda that we need to have higher beauty standards then men and can't age in the same way which is so sad and unempowering for women. We have become so vain and we just go along with what the beauty industry tell us we need to 'fix'. I'm here for aging natural and saying eff you to the sexist beauty agenda!
Hey Melissa, thats amazing, im glad you figured out what works for you! I totally get where you're coming from with aging naturally! unfortunately, i am not there 100% yet in my journey but hope maybe one day i can feel comfortable and confident enough as you to feel that way!! hell yeah!!
Sounds like me tried different serums my face has been hurting ... this has never happened ive mostly used very natrual things...ps my mom uses very natrual things and she has good skin.
@@sparksoflife101 sorry you're going through similar. Natural products actually caused some of the worst reactions in my skin but that's because I have an allergy to Linalool (a component of fragrance found in almost all natural essential oils and plant extracts). Linalool allergy is actually quite common, so although surprising, natural products can actually as if not more irritating than synthetic! I've basically learnt not to put anything on my skin as its too sensitive to be absorbing any chemicals, natural or synthetic.
spf cannot be worn by everyone, my skin reacted badly to over 10 spfs i tried and caused perioral dermatitis. Not everyone is lucky enough to have skin that is able to not absorb the chemicals in spf deep enough that they cause irritation. some people are even allergic to spf, so please be aware of this before putting out blanket advice that could actually harm others, like using spf did to my skin.@Itz_fairyrosalynnxoxospamsss
I use only sunscreen when necessary, but I used to use skincare all the time, and I broke out into a blister on the side of my cheek, and I kept on saying oh it’s gonna work it’s gonna work, but nothing was working, and I was listening to all these people to buy expensive products, so I stopped using skincare, and my skin is so much better I use a cleanser to take off my make up and that’s about it. I am just so happy you’re bringing this up.
The day i stopped doing skincare shit, the less i care about my skin, the less stress I got, now i literally use water and nothing else, and now my Skin looks normal and healthy
Same !! I stopped everything this year and my skin is healthy : sometimes there’s a pimple or blackhead but it leaves or I remove it and move on ! No stress I don’t even put moisturizer, only when my skin needs it and sometimes olive oil because my skin thrives with it I wasted so much money with The Body Shop, La Roche Posey products🤦🏾♀️
Can you also talk about how often dermatologists say to use sunscreen daily, even for office workers who won't be outside. AND to reapply sunscreen every two hours!
its not even personal opinion ... These are facts. Last week i went to a dermatologist and got prescribed skin products for the first time in my life, (to get rid of a few old covid virus acne scars), but the dermatologist shamed me for not having a skin care routine, and forced me to also buy "cleansers" and hydrators and idk what else.... and on the third day of using these products my skin is VISIBLY worse, dry for the first time ever, not glassy anymore, looks dull, and for the first time ever the colour of my skin isn't even!!! My skin colour was always even and perfect, suddenly, i have yellow pigmentation around my mouth, and under my eyes + forehead !!!!!!!!! i'm never believing this industry again. It's a scam.
@@AdamH-fq1rs no ... just water, and an ice cube every once in a while to increase blood flow and tighten pores. If my skin is every dry in winter, I put coconut oil on it. That's it. Everyone tells me I have flawless skin.
@@AdamH-fq1rs yes, usually warm water. Yes, forgot the detail about sunscreen, i definitely wear sunscreen each time i go out (even winter). But i got a toxic-free Australian brand of sunscreen, its reef safe called juice. I bought it from amazon. I usually don't wear makeup, but when i do i wash with warm water, and cotton. I don't wear foundation, so i don't need anything other than warm water and cotton. I guess foundation doesn't go off easily though. BTW on my yt page, shorts section, the most popular short is a lana del rey glow video, in the first pics it shows my skin without anything on it. Also no filter there, just for context.
Omg same I went to dermat she also forced me to buy bunch of products and after trying them my skin was uneven and was so bad thank god I stopped everything now ive the best skin rn I just use cleanser two times a day thats it
I was recently thinking "why is my body so well even toned with no irritation" and then it clicked, i dont do a supposedly "necessary" 10 step skincare routine for my body like I do my face, in fact over my body I would do the bare minimum wash with a silicone brush in the shower or bath. I cut out all face skincare EXCEPT for spf as I do believe that is still a necessity no matter what, I dropped my cleanser, moisturisers, serums and elixirs and I can say for sure my skin improved, all I do for my skin now is gently wash with water using a silicone brush and applied an spf and at night just washed off with water. The thing that really gets me is our face naturally creates a barrier moisture in the form of sebum, skincare is truly a scam that needs to end
Please, please be careful which type of spf you’re using. If it contains titanium dioxide (most do) throw it in the trash. It’s such a potent carcinogen that it starts degrading your DNA within 30 minutes of application. So, we are just asking for cancer and every other chronic health problem by using this super toxic product everyday
I have combo skin leaning mostly to dry and it's sensitive to boot. Sadly, I wish I can say leaving my skin alone clears all my problems but because I suffer from dry skin, I get dry patches and closed comedones. That being said, I've tried so many hydrating face washes that promise to help my problem but they just ended up damaging my skin barrier over time. You wanna know what finally worked? Oatmeal milk. I used it as a "natural" face wash, then moisturizer and sunscreen. My skin hasn't looked this good in YEARS.
I learned after years as an esthetician that the skincare industry is indeed one giant scam. The penny dropped when I realized that so many of my new clients that were just starting to take an interest in skin care after years of “neglecting” their skin, were in fact the clients with the healthiest, loveliest skin! During lockdown I decided to do an experiment and I quit all skin products except my Cerave face wash and moisturizer. 3 years on that’s still all I use and my skin has never looked better. The only other product I’ve added is jojoba oil which I’ll dab on for a little facial massage twice a week. I also use the jojoba oil sparingly as a body oil and hair treatment when needed. Oh, and I also use a terry wash cloth when cleansing my face, and that takes care of exfoliation perfectly. (facial scrubs are actually quite harmful to your skin, and chemical exfoliants are a total waste of money!)
Wow thank you for sharing your experience. It’s awful how marketers try to use language like “neglecting” your skin to make you feel guilty too. Jojoba oil is amazing!
@leelaalice9390 retinol is the only topical product that is proven to remove fine lines and imperfections. SPF, retinol and a basic moisturizer that replenishes your natural barrier. Thats all.
Thank you finally somebody is saying I ditched my skincare and my skin is super healthy never ever going back to it just water and healthy food are enough for you
So, I am 36. I never really used skincare until this year. Never had acne outside of a few pimples and still never wear makeup. No wrinkles. My new skincare routine is basic, cleanser, toner, sunscreen in the morning and retinal at night, and I've seen a great improvement in my skin. So, I don't think that it's all B.S. but I do feel that people are doing too much, and hop from one product to another so they never know if their skin is responding well to something or not. How can you tell if something is working if you never even establish a baseline for how your skin is naturally?
Honestly this skincare shit stresses me tf out too, but my problem is that my skin wasn't looking good before i started and in spite of my frustration i do still feel like my skin has gotten at least a bit better so idefk what to do at this point... maybe i'll focus on my diet or some shit???
pay attention to what you’re using that has helped your skin improve and start narrowing it down so you can figure out what works best for your skin individually! Diet can play a big factor and has helped me a lot- specifically working out and sweating through my pores has been a big game changer. What’s been the most beneficial for your skin so far?
I used a body soap on to wash my face (a mild soap) and that was all for years. Everyone says that my skin is glowing and healthy. That led me to thinking like "I should take care of my skin" so did a skin care researches and stressed me out like sh*t. What toner should i use? What cleanser? Double cleansing? What brand? What ingredient?. And although my skin still looks the same (clear), I started to aware every single area of my face and think like "I should treat this pore" "I should treat this line" BECAUSE skin care industry told me to. I lost my confidence as "Oh, I have a very good skin" although my skin does! But nowadays, I told myself "Skin will always look like skin" "Skin is clearly not a glass so will has its textures and a few things a skin". Don't get me wrong. I'm still not completely out from skincare. I use moisturizer, sunscreen and cleanser. I just don't go crazy anymore.
thanks for sharing your story to skincare! Thats funny, "you have great skin" "oh I should take care of my skin" lol. same here, keeping it simple works best for me.
Cause everyone else including internet said "Have a skin care routine before it's too late". Yeah, guess you're right. Less is more. Gotta do what my skin needs instead of following what other people do.
@@dylan5320 if you're afraid of aging, lemme tell you, everyone ages. Aging is a natural process, not by skincare. The people u see online who doesn't age achieve it not bcz of skincare but bcz of treatment like laser/botox etc. So don't waste your money.
More people need to see this video. I too got caught up in thinking I needed ‘x’ amount of products in my skincare routine (double cleanse, exfoliate, toner, vitamin c, etc, etc). Thinking I needed to improve my skin, which was perfectly fine to begin with. I ended up doing more harm than good and am now back to using a cleanser and moisturizer with spf in the am, and cleanser and appropriate face cream at night. Presto! Skin calmed down and skin barrier repaired. Keep it simple, folks. Your skin will thank you.
My mom has rosacea and just recently her doctor told her to only use sunscreen and nothing else. And wash the sunscreen off with just water. Her skin hasnt looked this good in years.
It's super easy to get caught up in the excitement of skincare and overdo it when you first discover the subject. You slap a million different things on your face and then end up wondering why your skin looks worse after a year than it did before you started (ask me how I know). 1. Identify your issue(s). 2. Target the issue(s) 3. Don't be seduced by the next big thing; there will ALWAYS be a next big thing. 4. Pare down to the minimum routine needed to achieve your aims. If you're only targeting one thing, you do NOT need 30 products day and night. 5. Leave well enough alone if your products are working. You do not need just three more things to take it to the mythical "next level."
Thank you. I loved your video. I wish everyone just told women 1, drink water 2. Veg and fruit and protein 3. Sleep 4. Relax and be happy. 5. Only one coffee a day. Cutting down coffee and carbs makes huge difference. 6. Liquid vit C, helps too if you follow top steps. 7. I only have milk in my morning coffee. No diary otherwise And you'll be golden.
I totally agree, but do check out the research on synthetic vitamin C. I use food sourced vitamin C if at all, but a low sugar diet goes a long way to not burn through vitamin C
And also wanted to tell you about wrinkles.I m 34 years old and from the age of 32 i noticed that i have wrinkles under my eyes,on the forehead also.I used so many skincare products, but wrinkles just appeared. And nothing helped me to prevent from them.I have 2 children,i sleep less,i have stress and i lost weight and i have wrinkles .And this is normal also. And i still have all those problems that teenagers have : blackheads, rash ,pores .So i decided to stop using everything just because im tired of all that.
I worked in Mary’s & Blue Mercury and a lot of the products are made with ingredients that make your skin addicted. Before considering buying any products, try changing your shower head and getting a filter for your sink head.
retinoid is not a need. It has benefits, but it's a very serious product to say everyone needs it. I'd say it's a step up to the game, cause the basics of skincare are moisturizing, gentle cleanser and sun protection.
I do notice that most skin care UA-camrs who rave about the latest products are being sponsored and use very obvious airbrushed filters quite a lot UA-camrs who say tretinoin is the key to looking “youthful” at 50/60 admit to getting Botox and fillers on the regular so I’m like… 🌝
mhmmm! money talks. every month they're raving about something new- im so bored of it 🥱 like girl what happened to the other product?! in my opinion its just a balance of botox/plastic surgery/lasers when you "need it" and keeping a basic gentle skin care routine.
FINALLY SOMEONE TELLS THE TRUTH. I was about to make my own video even though my channel is not about skincare bc I’m so freaking annoyed at the skincare industry!!! It has ruined my skin. TIP: just let your skin BREATHE YALL. WATER AND AIR. Let me ask you this: when you cut your skin, do you need a product for it to heal ? Or does the skin FIX ITSELF? Or what about a bruise? Sure you might need Neosporin for an infection, but does the skin HEAL ITSELF OR NOT? Moisturizer is ruining YOUR SKIN telling your skin it doesn’t need it’s own oil or hydration and then it becomes dependent In the product for LIFE and making it worse over years
@@COABF you literally replied to people saying you use moisturizer sometimes and sunscreen and face wash. Why agree 100% im so confused whether to use nothing but water or have a skincare routine.😢my skin is bad and I only use gentle cleanser and moisturizer
@@Falseaimx yes, because I don’t think it’s a one size fits all box- everyone has to do what individually works for their skin. My point in this video was to stop buying every single beauty product launch and using ridiculously over complicated 12 step skincare routines. Stick to the basics. A face wash, a moisturizer and some sunblock. I also do not use my face wash and moisturizer every day- I use it based on my skin and it’s needs. if I have a lot of makeup I use a GENTLE & scientifically backed cleanser to remove it. If my skin feels super irritated and dry Because I haven’t been drinking enough water I’ll use a gentle moisturizer. But it’s need bases based on your skin and how it responds. Sorry for any confusion! ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely same! I have rosacea and I tried SO many different products, really leaned into the hype 2020 and bought so much stuff. The best thing I did for my skin since then was … cleansing as little as possible. The less cleanser I use, the better my skin gets. Same with sunscreen (which is necessary I know, but NOT every day!), active ingredients like vitamin c or retinol, sheet masks, toners … my skin is the happiest when I ignore it for a week. That speaks volumes. I still Fall into the marketing gimmicks sometimes, but less and less. I‘m also so done with it! Good video! 👌🏻
Omg Your skin is glowing I just checked out your skincare video I'm in the same boat as you. 2 years ago i didn't know what a typical SKINCARE ROUTINE is and my skin was doing great . But my stupid curious ass thought " if i start having a skincare routine, my skin will look even great " . Jokes on me . I spend so much money on some stupid ass products and my skin just got worse . I want my old self back. Skincare marketing is such a scam.
Ugh same I’ve spent unfortunately thousands on skincare products and never needed them in the first place. We live and we learn ! keep in mind for my skincare video I don’t use those products every day ! less is more but you know this ! 🫶🏻
Before I discover skincare routine my skin was better, not great but better. After 3 years of 3-4 step skincare routine my face is disgusting and tbh I’m done with it. Now I rinse with just water in the morning. In the evening I use tiny drop of CeraVe cleanser, and my face is thanking me. No moisturizer, serum, etc. For Sun protection I just put on a hat

@@Piper_444 not rude at all! everyone has the products that works for them individually. I've used cetaphil before, personally I didn't like it on my skin, it burned! :(
I was like that. I tried a lot of things. I still try a lot of things, but I heavily research first if it actually works for MY skin. I think people just buy whatever that’s trending when it isn’t for their skin type. And also many don’t have the knowledge of ingredients that don’t or do pair well.
My skin used to look way nicer way before I started using facial products and aloe vera on my face Now my face looks so old and dull Those products have caused my face too loose it’s natural complexion Skincare isn’t for everybody The only thing that I used to do is wash my face face with water which have never caused me acne
Stopped doing my skincare routine after remembering that I had almost “perfect” skin when I was still only sometimes using water to rinse to begin with. Always trying to be even better, more beautiful, be More glowy spiralled out of control for me. Now im just trying to be content with what I have even if there’s a pimple once or twice lol
When you're diagnosed with a serious and life threatening illness, in your youth, or in middle age, you soon realise the absurdity of worrying about skin and appearance. Face-lifts, botox, fillers, bull$hit skincare ... ITS ALL INSANITY! Relax and be grateful for your health. Jowls are hardly worth losing sleep over (nor is acne, for that matter!). I would know, I have spent years focusing on both, until a real scary health scare shook the vanity right outta me.
I totally understand where you're coming from. But alas, as human nature is, we are not able to keep that perspective unless we're going through it as a daily reminder. I experienced extreme health issues and I felt exactly as you do now. Once I got better, time went by, perspectives change again to align with your current life and we care about what we care about. but i am happy for you that you're on a different journey and hope you're doing well health wise now. :)
SO true!!! Vanity is an evil thing and only after experiencing health issues have I realised what is ACTUALLY important in life. Definitely don’t agree with the creators reply to your comment. Perspectives don’t shift after you actually experience serious health problems and your whole life changes. Your priorities completely change, and that’s not temporary.
I beg to differ. Acne ususally is an actual skin disease and not just a few pimples. And espeically when it is so deep and cystic, you hardly can move your face without feeling PAIN, it is absolutely something you should worry about!
100% truth… I’m always shocked seeing young women and the amount of crap they put on their faces (they are beautiful without it) it is mind blowing. Make and products should be used to enhance not cover. Embrace your beauty ladies!!!!!
I wash my face with water every other day. Sometimes I use a gentle cleanser or Dove sensitive bar soap once or twice a week. Cerave lotion, when I remember I’ll use Azealic Acid for redness. At 35 my skin looks amazing!

I also wash my hair twice a week. 😉 And of course eating healthy, cut down on the meat, and sugar. So I am not completely off skin care products. I'm using them less. My skin looks better now.
Skincare works but not if you are chasing the newest hot products on the market and constantly change brands. A lot of skincare doesn't deliver on their promises. If you know your skin and stick to a routine which includes clinical proven ingredients (fe retinoids, niacinamide, peptides, moistering ingredients, peeling acids, vitamin C) that address your skinproblem, skincare works. And it doesn't have to be expensive.
I love trying new skincare. But I definitely agree: when I’m buying it for a specific reason it doesn’t always work. I also realize I waste a lot of money trying stuff out and should just use what I know I already enjoy. I started eating more vegetables this past week actually. I use hummus and guacamole to help me get there but it’s really help me to make sure I eat all the veggies.
Occasionally I revisit this video, to remind me not to buy into the bs a** skincare 😭🤣 My skin is sooooo sensitive to everything that I’m also exhausted, especially wasting all that money on it 😢
I really felt so happy to see a person like you who is actually giving genuine solution, in this so called "BEAUTY INFLUENCERS" ERA you're promoting healthy skin not obsession like these influencers, I've been in this trap and I was doing all these 7step, 10 step...blah..blahh..it did nothing just ruined my skin and also waste of money, so i just stopped everything and started a simple routine including so skin friendly oils(trust me they're holy grail) thats it my skin got crystal clear and now I'm happy with my beautiful clear skin
❤I agree my skin looks it best when it's simple. In the morning : moisturiser and suncreen. In the evening: cerave hydrating cleanser, cerave lotion and then a layer of aquaphor. Putting aquaphor and sunscreen has helped my facial eczema so much. Whenever I tried to use more products my skin freaked out. Yes simplicity = happy skin. I could never not moisturise my eczema would be so angry 😮 red, itchy and cracked.
Jessyka said no bs and she meant it. I totally agree with you. I'm buying less on products and saving for treatments that will be much more effective in preserving my skin (PRP, botox, etc). However, let's not forget the necessary evil that is sunscreen! 💜

I struggle with cystic acne for almost 9 years now, and throughout the time my skin just got worse and worse, and every problem that was "solved", lead to another. I tried every kind of cream, chemical peeling, laser and other cosmetic procedures (Also Accutane for a year) and at this point, after so much time and money invested, my face is in it's baddest place, after all the medicine, procedures and cosmetic failures. So yes, i also think it's all a big scam.
Oh my goodness I’m so sorry 😞 cystic acne is so painful. Have you tried a naturopath to look at your hormones and maybe prescribe an herbal solution? I hope you find a solution soon ❤️🩹
In my opinion,If you want to take care of your skin u only need cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen(mvp) according to your skintype and a treatment targeting your skin concern and that's all
Recently, I got to the same conclusion. My skin is over reactive. Even all the products for sensitive skin break me out. I am done. No more actives for my skin, just extremely short ingredient products like a wash gel and some hydrating serum without active ingredients and a drop of squalane. That is it.
When I got my first fine lines under my eyes I panicked and got an expensive age reversing eye cream. Within a few days I had milia, dark rings and puffy bags I never had before. From there I consulted beauty reddit, talked to professionals, tried to do all the right things and use only the "best" products for my skin type and situation but everything stung and made it worse. In the end going back to only just water my skin calmed down and healed on its own. I still have fine lines, but I look way better this way then with all the product damage and irritation. Oh well. Getting older is actually a blessing anyway. :)
ts currently December and since Sept. Ive got horrible cystic acne (with scaring) every single month, and when one would go away another or two or three would pop up. Ive never had acne like this before, so i was confused with what was happening. Im two weeks into quitting the products completely and the dark marks are fading and no recent cystic bumps have appeared. Simple cleanser and lightweight moisturizer from now on.
This. I can understand that some people who have severe acne need drugs like tretinoin but there is a RIDICULOUS amount of people using it for the most minor of issues. A huge cult following of people all over here and on reddit, after perfect skin, but the reality is a lot of time it destroys your skin in the process. I too, started it for blackheads, minor pimples, and a few fine lines, and it absolutely wrecked my skin. Harsh, numerous products are not the answer. Constant irritation and inflammation of the skin is just overdoing it and exacerbating the problem. Less is more.
I think at the end of the day there are honestly only two products that work long term. Sunscreen and retinoids. I think if you consistently use these for years you will look younger, however 99.9% of the other “anti-aging” stuff is garbage. Moisturizer is nice as well in providing immediate hydration and of course cleanser for obvious purposes, especially if you wear makeup. My husband’s routine is sunscreen in the morning and retinal at night and his skin looks better than mine. I am thinking I’ll ditch most of my skincare products and do the same. Edit: Exfoliation is also not BS, I definitely see an immediate difference when I use the Ordinary’s AHA BHA peel. Lots of people say that product ruined their skin but I think it’s one of the few exfoliants that actually contains enough actives to work, just be careful and don’t necessarily leave it on your skin the full ten minutes
I love using Korean skincare products. Their ingredients are amazing and high quality with less cost out of your pockets. I’ve seen the most results from using K-beauty compared to using Western’s brands. However I agree that your diet and health is very important and contributes to the health of your skin! When I was eating healthier, drinking more water and exercising my skin was more consistently clear. And this was way before I started to use K-beauty. But now I’m lazy and “big sized” and since switching to K-beauty I noticed better results like I stated above. ❤
That’s wonderful I’m happy you’ve found what works for you! I have tried some Korean skincare in the past and it actually was pretty good it didn’t cause any bad reactions. I’m a big fan of korean spas and korean med spas!
Sometimes, having bad skin or ANY kind of a skin condition is hereditary, or genetically-based! I had very oily Combination skin from ages 10 to 16 and the only thing that helped was to wash my face about every 2 to 3 hours! It went away totally by junior year of high school (age 16)
I'm on day 2 of using nothing on my face and all the wee bumps that I've tried to get rid of by exfoliating then moisturising have gone. Something I read was children don't have to use anything on their face so why do we. My face feels a wee bit tight but I was reading this should get better over time 🤞
It DOES work!! Trust me. I'm a kid (had horrific acne the worst possible) and I stopped using skincare completely like when I was a toddler and now my skin is so soft and clear and bouncy like when I was little! Trust me, it'll work! Your skin will protect you if you just let it! Much love!💖💖💖
Yes I'm also facing the same problem inhave applied too many products in my face and spent $120 instead of getting results they gave me side effects and Right now I'm facing a excessively damage skin barrier no moisturizer tends to suit on my skin rough scaly patches, consultanted different dermatologists but nothing worked now only 1 hope is to Leave my skin all Alone right now my skin is shit but lets see what happens without any skin care for 6 months hope my skin barrier repairs soon
Jesus H Christ! $70 for a moisturizer ?? Some people go all out don’t they lol I use cheap sht like Vaseline or Aquaphor and Im gold all day. No day creams, night creams, oils, serums, balms, toners .. honestly I don’t even know what half of this stuff is but I hear people always talking about them. All I do is cleanse skin with a pine tar based soap in the shower, exfoliate, (Im a full body scaper so that’s part of my routine) , mild scrub with borax after , and moisturize with either Vaseline or Aquaphor. Nothing else. No special products. I think it’s a balancing game. You don’t want to have no routine at all but neither an overly done routine with the entire store of Sephora in your bathroom lol My theory is that anything that disrupts the skin barrier (microbiome) will cause issues. This can either be done by all the products people slather on, the lack of applying simple products that will re-establish the skin barrier, a bad diet .. or all 3. I’ve also noticed when I take a healthy diet seriously, my skin also improves from that. I remember when I was 11. I have never EVER washed my face. I had perfect skin. My brother was having acne problems so mom was buying all these acne cleansers for him. Then one day mom tells me it’s time i start washing my face. So she used on of those acne cleansers she was using on my brother. It dried the living hell out of my skin and the next day .. I’m not even joking .. I got my very first pimple !!! From an acne cleanser!!! Fkml
I'm allergic to SLS. It was in my toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, prescription meds, laundry detergent. Now I wash with castile soap and moisturize with plain coconut oil. No conditioners, lotions, and no make up.
Exactly I spent hundreds trying to reverse some aging I noticed mid 40s .. they literally did nothing. I’m planning to use up what I have and go minimal, cleanser and beef tallow for moisturizer and Botox if needed. I wanted to try less invasive before Botox but it didn’t work and I wasted so much money. Even tried hifu laser for 400 which also did nothing.
I leave my skin be just wash my face once that too with bathing soap in the entire day and I’m good to go. Only during winters I use moisturiser or else I don’t needany creams
Its sad because before i started "skincare" i had beautiful skin that was truly flawless and always got compliments. At around 18 i started cleansing because i was told i would need it and thats when everything went down hill.... I ended up over producing oil, clogged pores on my nose, breakouts, a lottle red patch on my one cheek that 6 years later still hasnt gone away fully. My mom and her mom would use ponds cold cream and thats it and their skin is beautiful, only sunscreen when they would be out working in the sun and thats it. My mom is much more conscious of sun exposure nowadays and her skin is more even tone so sun can certainly cause issues, but her skin is looking way better than any other women i see that do a crazy skincare routine. My mama is in her 70s now and is the definition of aging gracefully and thats what I want ❤ Less truly is more
Same thing happened to me Had perfect skin throughout teen years until beauty school we had to give each other facials using dermalogica, an expensive brand. I completely broke out and my skin has never been like it was. I'm 24 now and mostly get hormonal acne which is a different story, but I do regret using those products on my young skin . Better to keep a minimal routine
My skin got worse when I started using skincare bc i liked the act of grooming. Im a cleansing oil believer and does everything I need. I even healed my sons horrible acne with the same method. My skin leveled up so much when I quit using these products. I drink teas, high antioxidant foods and eat a lot of fruit. It’s definitely shows when I do. Elaborate Skincare was never doing much.
I started my skin care routine only 2 months ago, i'm in my late 20s and was noticing fine lines so wanted to start looking after my skin properly..... i am now figuring out that i need to stop and that I made a big mistake. I suddenly in a 2 month period have incredibly deep wrinkles (and my cheeks flare up to blotchiness occasionally) - I started panicking a few weeks ago and started buying products that everyone online had been saying are super hydrating and will lessen the wrinkles.... like hyrloronic acid, cerimide moisturisers etc..... the wrinkles look like they are getting worse everyday. I've spent sooo much money. I think i'm going to try cutting it all out and only using a light cleanser, a light retinol and plant derived squalane oil or castor oil. HELP.
i always thought my acne was because of hormones and stuff but now im starting to think it's just skincare because tell me why it has been years using skincare and my skin is either the same or worse. I just looked at pictures of me way before i had skincare... literally not a pimple IN SIGHT. I'm done with skincare (besides sunscreen) for good
Skincare is a scam. I used to love skincare, haircare, makeup and spent a ton of money on all three. The pandemic opened my eyes up to a lot of things. No more skincare for me. No more masks, toners, serums, exfoliators, special treatments, etc. I use a handmade salt soap for my face I buy off Etsy and a natural oil or combination oil on my face and that is it with the exception of occasional exfoliation with a washcloth or a homemade sugar scrub. I used to wash my hair almost every day because it is fine and thin. With the pandemic work from home, I started washing my hair less, just putting it up if I had to look presentable on a zoom meeting. I started washing my hair every four days. Then I quit drugstore and salon shampoos. Now I make my own or buy natural products. I still blowdry my hair but rarely use my flatiron which I used to use almost every day. My hair has really improved. I have less hair fall and my hair looks thicker and so much healthier. For makeup now I usually only wear mascara, sometimes I will add eyeliner, and a bit of lip balm and I am good to go. I bought my last foundation in 2017. Foundation is not good for skin. Now my skin breathes with a light oil only in the colder months. I wear nail polish (I always did my own) a lot less and actually like my natural unpolished nails. I am really enjoying a more natural, healthy look and saving a ton of money too!
It's irritating the skin with chemicals and alcohol!!!!!!!!!1 VERY BAD! I have psoriasis and I am still trying to figure out what is safe to clean and moisturize my face
I'm so glad I found you!!!!! Sophora and ulta products are junk. Tretinoin, botox, filler, chemical peels, etc. That's my routine. I'm 40, so my needs are a little more than a glow recipe routine. These teenage girls buying 90.00 anti aging crap from Sophora is crazy! I agree with you 100%
The only thing I like is the ordinarys lactic acid because when I wear makeup eventually I get crusty skin around my nose from build up even when I wash my face and that exfoliates my face and gets everything out. Plus kiehls moisturizing and a sunscreen. That’s it.
yes I agree! I do like the ordinary products (I use their moisturizer!) and I think it’s been helpful to use those harsher products like acids sparingly!
Yep true. I look at my pics before skincare and i was really beautiful, glowing and since i started using skincare like in 2021 my hyperpigmentation started getting worse, my dark circles are more visible and acne on my forehead is now at it's worst. I've learned to keep it simple: facewash, moisturizer, sunscreen that's all!! 😭😭 I've literally ruined my skin with all those expensive skincare and also got broke!!!
Thank you for speak up! All of my life I wear a dozen of skincare. Cleanser, moisturizer, toner, serums, creams. I eventually had my breakout after wearing korean skincare, as I thought pricey skincare = good skincare but it's wrong. I got plenty of breakouts all over my face that causes fungal acne and eczema. I switch another brand and only use sunscreen but it turns out it causes me breakout again! So that I know that this feels wrong and my skin needs to breathe so that I decided to use only water and in about 2 weeks my skin has already gotten better and clearer that I realize everything is scam. Our skin has their own abilities to protect and moisturise from nature. My skincare is water and eating veggies and fruits ❤
That’s exactly what I did, just washing with water and not using anything and I had flawless skin. Unfortunately I ruined my skin a few months ago and I’m now forced to use products because it doesn’t heal 😔 Don’t do the mistake I did, just stick washing with water and don’t damage your skin using those products.
@@ohlomi114 No not anymore unfortunately. 4 months ago I randomly decided to use a moisturizer and it gave me inflammation, redness that persisted even after using steroid creams. So I went online and looked for alternative ways to treat it and read that if I wouldn’t wash my face at all not even rinsing with water it would heal quicker so that’s what I did for a while. Doing this has changed my skin from normal dry to extremely greasy and oily and it feels very uncomfortable. I also got yellow flakes building up on my nose which I harshly removed using my fingernails instead of exfoliating properly and have this waxy sticky texture since. Sry for the long text but this is basically how I ruined my face and I have only myself to blame 😢 I tried to leave my skin alone for 4 weeks the entire last month and only using water but it didn’t improve so now I’m using a skin repair cream daily hoping to see some improvement. I also shower and wash my face daily but the greasiness just doesn’t go away unfortunately. I get really depressed when I look at older pictures and seeing what I did to myself 😔
@@ohlomi114 No its not unfortunately. A few months ago I decided to not wash my face at all not even rinsing with water because I though it would heal my contact dermatitis that I got from using a moisturizer. Doing this has ruined my skin and turned it into a greasy oily mess. I wash my face with water and shower everyday but my face and scalp just remains greasy its so uncomfortable 😔
@@ohlomi114 Last month I only washed with water and didn’t use any products but I saw no improvement so I decided to use a skin barrier repair cream for 1 week now. I hope things will get better because I feel extremely depressed because of the way I look now 😢
You help me a lot maybe my skin needs rest too... My skin is better before i begin tha skin care routine.. i spend a lot money and get stressed because my face getting worst.. maybe this is the time rest my face.. thank you for the info.. i hope my face will recover too..
Finally people are talking about it. I Never invested so much money on skincare. I have tried only sunscreen after watching youtube videos. But even sunscreen made my skin worse. Then i stopped buying sunscreen and now i only use a gentle facewash and a moisturizer. I dont do makeup. If i do i only use eyeliner, lipstick and a little compact powder to freshen up my face. But that is occasional. I am close to my 30s and what i realize that your skin and hair will look healthy if you have a healthy lifestyle. That includes 7/8 hours of good sleep at night, waking up early in the morning and doing some exercise, good gut health, eating homemade heathy meal , you should include every vitamin into your daily diet, stop overthinking about hair and skin, and of course smart phone, laptop less cause their lights are the main problem For our skin and eyes. I know it will take time to make this habit but it will give you so much physical and mental peace. The gut health plays a huge role for the skin and hair. Dont waste money on unnecessary skincare products, instead invest your money on your diet ..
FINALLY! People are waking up to this whole bullshit ass industry. I just turned 30 and it's engraved into us women (men are starting to get bombarded too) to buy endless products. Even my go to moisturizer doesn't work for me anymore. Idk if they changed the fucking formula or something but yeah it's shit now. I stopped using spf, moisturizer, cleanser, physical exfoliant and my skin is healing. It's been like a week or two and it looks GREAT. I get open and closed comedones (blackheads and whiteheads) like almost instantly when I start using my "go to skin care". But I don't use a fucking thing on my face, it looks PERFECT. No breakouts, no blackheads and other bullshit. I'm TIRED of this industry.
I honestly haven't found a "skincare" brand that I love and works.. I used the cheapest cleansing oil and it worked just fine and way better than these fancy brands. your skin looks amazing!
My skin has never been better since I let the skincare world. I was trying to fix something that it didn’t need to be fixed
if it aint broke dont fix it!
Just accept yourself ad god made u😊
"I was trying to fix something that didn't need fixing." EXACTLY!
So u don't even apply sunscreen?
Haha yess!!! Mo money less problems hehe
Which products do you use?
can you please suggest cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen you use?
@@swaraj1501 buy from big companies that have tested their products with scientifically proven ingredients. For cleanser and moisturizer, I recommend cereve cleanser. For morning, the cereve am moisturizer and sunscreen combo is good. And for nighttime, the cereve PM moisturizer is lightweight and has niacinimide. Why the same brand? cause its the best and cheapest.
The bentonite clay mix with acv is natural. The rest is trash lol
😢
All the members of my family have beautiful skin, they don't use any products. I made the mistake of using skincare when I was a teenager.
@@iseehim-n5h do they use face wash or not?
@@toonx3419 Almost never, only when they wear make-up. Since then, I've used almost no skincare, just a micellar water or cleansing balm, a moisturizer and azelaic acid from time to time to treat my scars. My skin is much, much better.
Things I've realised:
1- Know your skin.
And if you can, buy some supplements you might be lacking that could help improve your diet (consult your doctor first and watch out for "health quacks" trying to sell you a dream)
10- Finally, love yourself at every stage. Gives you a realistic view of where your skin is at each phase and where you want it to go without feeling like it isn't good enough.
finally , people are talking about the craze of skin care
I totally get where you're coming from with aging naturally! unfortunately, i am not there 100% yet in my journey but hope maybe one day i can feel comfortable and confident enough as you to feel that way!! hell yeah!!
How is your skin looking now?
The day i stopped doing skincare shit, the less i care about my skin, the less stress I got, now i literally use water and nothing else, and now my

@@SreeBSNstudent yes supergoop unseen sunscreen is my fav for now!
@moo9293 what kind of cleanser you use
You should wash the sunscreen off your face with a cleanser
@@avfc2025 I use a sunscreen lotion that doesnt really take much to wash it off, I don't break out anymore

Does it take off your spf?
Since i lose my job i stoped buying skincare and my skin is the same
I learned after years as an esthetician that the skincare industry is indeed one giant scam.
So exfoliating face is no good . Some are recommending twice a day , that can’t be good. It would dry out your skin.
Sister could you please tell me..does retinol works or its a scam by skincare industry...I'm so confuse
@@wellnesscanceradvocate8564 Overexfoliating your skin dries it out causing MORE acne.

Cause everyone else including internet said "Have a skin care routine before it's too late".
Yeah, guess you're right. Less is more. Gotta do what my skin needs instead of following what other people do.
@@dylan5320 right, they scare you into a skincare routine when yours was already working for you just fine!
I wish everyone just told women
1, drink water
2. Veg and fruit and protein
3. Sleep
4. Relax and be happy.
5. Only one coffee a day. Cutting down coffee and carbs makes huge difference.
6. Liquid vit C, helps too if you follow top steps.
7. I only have milk in my morning coffee. No diary otherwise
And you'll be golden.
Before considering buying any products, try changing your shower head and getting a filter for your sink head.
love that advice. I have a filtered shower head but not one for the sink yet.
1-Sunscreen
2- A hat
3- Retinoid
4- Moisturising cream
5- Healthy diet
Is all you need.
retinoid is not a need. It has benefits, but it's a very serious product to say everyone needs it. I'd say it's a step up to the game, cause the basics of skincare are moisturizing, gentle cleanser and sun protection.
And cleanser because of sunscreen.. what kind of? Oilcleanser or washcream?
@@svenja5147 I use both.
Seems like you still use multiple products you’re not really happy with your comment js😊
I am using just these but i may stop using tretinoin because i dont see any benefits usimg almost one year.
I do notice that most skin care UA-camrs who rave about the latest products are being sponsored and use very obvious airbrushed filters quite a lot UA-camrs who say tretinoin is the key to looking “youthful” at 50/60 admit to getting Botox and fillers on the regular so I’m like… 🌝
mhmmm! money talks. every month they're raving about something new- im so bored of it 🥱 like girl what happened to the other product?! in my opinion its just a balance of botox/plastic surgery/lasers when you "need it" and keeping a basic gentle skin care routine.
it's been 1 year of me entering skincare world and now i want to quit, no progress it rlly just worsen
Moisturizer is ruining YOUR SKIN telling your skin it doesn’t need it’s own oil or hydration and then it becomes dependent In the product for LIFE and making it worse over years
100%
are you use face wash or just using water?
@@teknopedia8894 both! Depends on how my skin is feeling. Check my skincare routine video :)
Good video! 👌🏻
Omg
Your skin is glowing
I just checked out your skincare video
I'm in the same boat as you.
How is ur skin now after youve stopped?
Before I discover skincare routine my skin was better, not great but better. After 3 years of 3-4 step skincare routine my face is disgusting and tbh I’m done with it. Now I rinse with just water in the morning. In the evening I use tiny drop of CeraVe cleanser, and my face is thanking me. No moisturizer, serum, etc. For Sun protection I just put on a hat
Yeppp!! Minimal works ! don’t need too much- better to trust your instincts and listen to your skin
The last sentence got me 😅
😂😂😂😂 "it's the hat for me"😂😂😂
Not trying to be rude but I would recommend cetaphil gentle moisturizing cleanser it has very good ingredients that are natural also if you’re looking for a moisturizer the cetaphil ones my favorite
My skin used to look way nicer way before I started using facial products and aloe vera on my face
Now my face looks so old and dull
Those products have caused my face too loose it’s natural complexion
Skincare isn’t for everybody
The only thing that I used to do is wash my face face with water which have never caused me acne
Did you use aloe Vera gel from a bottle? I use the raw plant and feels it helps rejuvenate my skin. I apply it and then splash water to rinse off.
my dermatologist asked me to stop applying hyaluronic acid
The best way to heal your skin is from the inside
Stopped doing my skincare routine after remembering that I had almost “perfect” skin when I was still only sometimes using water to rinse to begin with. Always trying to be even better, more beautiful, be More glowy spiralled out of control for me. Now im just trying to be content with what I have even if there’s a pimple once or twice lol
if you leave skincare your skin become like before???

All the skincare world did was mess up my skin, now jm stuck with premature aging at 20. Going back to basics now, what a big mistake
I quit skincare after spending 10 million dollars on products that made my acne worse. Just use water and my skin has never been clearer.
At 35 my skin looks amazing!
i had to throw away all the skin care out of my bathroom after watching this i feel like its not doing anything in fact making my skin look worse i also calculated how much i spent on them realizing its almost $500 worth of product...they are a super waste of money lol
Oh my goodness. I know how you feel I had to go through that same process and the rebuild with simpler basics. What products were you using?
@@COABF it was usually most from the beautician's office skin medica i think it was called one was an exfoliate with bha and stuff another was a glicolic acid moisturizer that was around 70 bucks sunscreen spf 30 snail cream from Korea (strange i know lol) and 4 different face masks with hydrolic acid and vitamin c eye creams ranging from 4 different companies and night cream and after all that i still had people tell me i look tired lol
@@moonlight5070 yep that was me! All those exfoliants really did a number on my skin- I was consistently irritated and breaking out. give your skin some rest with nothing but a simple cleanser for a week or so and let it calm. I hope it gets better !!
I use skincare products sometimes, twice a week to be precise. (I also want to add that I almost never use make up).
Occasionally I revisit this video, to remind me not to buy into the bs a** skincare 😭🤣
My skin is sooooo sensitive to everything that I’m also exhausted, especially wasting all that money on it 😢
I truly believe it made my skin worse than ever at this point
I really felt so happy to see a person like you who is actually giving genuine solution, in this so called "BEAUTY INFLUENCERS" ERA you're promoting healthy skin not obsession like these influencers, I've been in this trap and I was doing all these 7step, 10 step...blah..blahh..it did nothing just ruined my skin and also waste of money, so i just stopped everything and started a simple routine including so skin friendly oils(trust me they're holy grail) thats it my skin got crystal clear and now I'm happy with my beautiful clear skin
ugh seriously, i cringe thinking about all the money i wasted.
I’m glad you found a routine that doesn’t trigger your eczema! Do you use retinol?
Jessyka said no bs and she meant it.
I totally agree with you. I'm buying less on products and saving for treatments that will be much more effective in preserving my skin (PRP, botox, etc).
However, let's not forget the necessary evil that is sunscreen! 💜
Haha Same same ! Less products more effective treatments to age gracefully. Haven’t done Prp but a friend of mine loves it. Which sunblock do you use? I’m back to using supergoop unseen !
@@COABF I have eczema prone skin so I use Aveeno's Protect + Hydrate. It's non greasy, absorbs so well and is completely invisible, plus pretty inexpensive.

I try to keep my routine pretty simple nowadays, I have mild rosacea and when I start adding in too many products/ingredients, my skin freaks out! Niacinamide seems to be in EVERYTHING and my skin can’t tolerate it.
Skincare is such a huge scam, but my skin looks so good, I keep getting scammed. I've been getting scammed for 30+ years with skincare. I don't know why my skin is in such amazing condition even though I am old AF. I cannot figure it out.
Im also having a breakout right now i purchase a lot of good stuff product for my face and they did work for a while but it didn't last long and eventually my break out came back again. And now im planning to stop using them but stick only to cleanser and suncreen which is basic and important.
my aunt is 60 and has used skincare regularly since her 20s- its worked for her, she looks incredibly youthful, like a woman in her 40s. everyones experience with skin care is personal and not the same. also the poors skincare routine is literally just cleanser, sunscreen, and maybe retinol- which is what most trained professionals advise you only rly use anyway. along with having a healthy diet and regular exercise, which shld be obvious.. and those creams to prevent wrinkles? theyre clinically proven to work ...
I use water and lightweight Jojoba Oil on my skin. Its the best its ever been! Soft, moisturized and clear. No products made it feel this way.
ugh i love jojoba oil too, its fantastic!
Hi, does this still work for you?
And when, how do you use the jojoba oil on your skin? Hope to hear!
@@user-gc3rv6jw3n hey, yes it has worked wonders for me. I cleanse my face and dry it. Then I make my hands wet and tap my face a little bit with the fresh water. If you do it like that, it will keep the face moisturized once the water has dried and won't leave an oily film if you don't use too much oil. Hope it helps!
These skin care products have not worked for me i swear...i had 10 times better skin when i never followed a skin care...and now even a spalsh of water dries out my skin .....my face is full of pimples and my forehead ..ahhh!!!! 1. Quality sleep
2. Drinking water
3. A sugar free diet
That doesn't work against sun damage. You still need spf and antioxidants
Skincare industry needs to be regulated. 😊
Exactly. Avene 50+spf and Effederm tretinoine cream are the 2 products that are really effective.
Do you have a suggestion for a Korean sunscreen?

I use cheap sht like Vaseline or Aquaphor and Im gold all day.
You don’t want to have no routine at all but neither an overly done routine with the entire store of Sephora in your bathroom lol
My theory is that anything that disrupts the skin barrier (microbiome) will cause issues.
Fkml
When I used just water on my skin it was perfect no skin care products work on my face anymore.
My mama is in her 70s now and is the definition of aging gracefully and thats what I want ❤
Less truly is more
Same thing happened to me
Had perfect skin throughout teen years until beauty school we had to give each other facials using dermalogica, an expensive brand.
HELP.
How r u now
i always thought my acne was because of hormones and stuff but now im starting to think it's just skincare because tell me why it has been years using skincare and my skin is either the same or worse. I just looked at pictures of me way before i had skincare... literally not a pimple IN SIGHT. I'm done with skincare (besides sunscreen) for good
i honestly think all you need is cleanser and moisturizer
You are an amazing person who have true insight ❤️
Water and vaseline for me maybe some sunscreen
do not get botox!!! use red light or blue light to get rid of wrinkles.
It's irritating the skin with chemicals and alcohol!!!!!!!!!1 VERY BAD! I have psoriasis and I am still trying to figure out what is safe to clean and moisturize my face
I was wonder why my skin look good when i forgot or to lazy to using night skincare ....🤦♀️
I agree with you 100%
we don’t talk enough about makeup too! it’s all so damaging to our skin. the second i stopped using foundation, my skin got so much better
I think that’s what people are forgetting about improving their diet water intake and exercise
True!
😭😭 I've literally ruined my skin with all those expensive skincare and also got broke!!!
i had really bad acne i stopped skin and went on a keto diet hmm crazy how when i stop skin care my acne gets better
Mhmmm !! My skin is sooo much better without a complicated routine
@@Dan24. yup! How long have you been doing that? Is your skin still flawless?
Sry for the long text but this is basically how I ruined my face and I have only myself to blame 😢
I tried to leave my skin alone for 4 weeks the entire last month and only using water but it didn’t improve so now I’m using a skin repair cream daily hoping to see some improvement.
My skin is better before i begin tha skin care routine.. i spend a lot money and get stressed because my face getting worst.. maybe this is the time rest my face.. thank you for the info.. i hope my face will recover too..
aww im so sorry, give it some time to breathe and see if it improves. Less is more.
Thank you ! You know, my face never looked more horrible than when I started using "products." SHIT
Yeah I think at some point they’re all similar ingredients with different packaging. Thanks boo!! Miss you
