Do these phones still have the huge flaw that bypasses the mute slider, disabling both the volume and vibration? If you press the power and volume up button together you should be able to see this. I've missed many important calls triggering this on my 7T. Thanks
I have a OnePlus 7 Pro which is also curved the same. Durability seems fine I don't have any issues with it in that regard. Accidental touches aren't really that bad either when you get used to it. The biggest issue is distortion. Anything on the sides of the phone get curved as well and that's annoying when watching videos or trying to interact with UI on the sides. So imo it's a downside but not a dealbreaker to have a curved screen.
Bought 8T after his review and had extreme network signal dropping issues.. have to reboot twice a day to resolve this issue and keep checking if I still got network signals .. this happens everywhere if in city or town/home.

Not strictly true about Bluetooth headphones only. Quite a few makers include a usb c to 3.5mm adapter with the phone. I have ordered the 8T to replace my Nokia 7.2. On the One Plus website an adapter is not mentioned. So I have purchased one from Amazon. This cost all of £7.97 , and it includes a DAC as well !! . I have tried on the Nokia which has a type C port as well as a 3.5 mm headphone socket. I have done a A B comparison, and the DAC is very slightly better. What do you expect for the price. The 8T arrives on Wednesday next week. Should be interesting. It’s the 128 Gb version.

They could of done so many cool things with that camera 😞
Downgrade software to use it
Do these phones still have the huge flaw that bypasses the mute slider, disabling both the volume and vibration? If you press the power and volume up button together you should be able to see this. I've missed many important calls triggering this on my 7T. Thanks
Rather than other things ... Have anyone noticed that both of the phone have a same wallpaper from Steins gate ... I can sense a otaku here
Same here man
He always puts anime wallpapers on his phones lmao
Which phone stand do you use
Is curved screen annoying and also does the curves scratch easily?
I have a OnePlus 7 Pro which is also curved the same.
Durability seems fine I don't have any issues with it in that regard. Accidental touches aren't really that bad either when you get used to it. The biggest issue is distortion. Anything on the sides of the phone get curved as well and that's annoying when watching videos or trying to interact with UI on the sides.
So imo it's a downside but not a dealbreaker to have a curved screen.
I was happy for 8pro but now confuse which one to buy🙄🙄 can u suggest me
Just buy 8
Bought 8T after his review and had extreme network signal dropping issues.. have to reboot twice a day to resolve this issue and keep checking if I still got network signals .. this happens everywhere if in city or town/home.
did you have this issue when you bought this phone or after you got updates for android 11?

Oneplus 8 pro or iPhone 12 pro? Which one to get?
Love your reviews...Could you please review the LG Velvet dual screen....Thanks
Can u fix me the problem...which is better 7t pro vs 8t
Which is best
how accurate is the color to memory & ram info? i've been looking online to purchase 8T but they both say the same for both color. any update on this since this video? thanks
Where do you get your wallpapers from, they're awesome!!
Bang for buck the 8t is better IMO. Camera is better on 8pro. Wish they did the silver in 256gb storage. I've had 6t McLaren for 2 years now. Great review as always mate. Like the comparison.
Same. What did you update to, Jay Henry?
@@ak5hayarora I will be updating to 8t. Gonna buy it in the coming weeks.
Yes your over the pond but I love your channel you down-to-earth and tell what's what thank you
Is it just me or does anyone else too find no difference in the camera quality of the OP7,7T,8,8T.
They seem the same to me.
Same hardware. Different processing
All 4 have the same main hardware basically. Some minor differences in the secondary cameras. 7 pro had a 3x telephoto for zoom and the 8T has a new wide angel but no 3x telephoto.
My 7 pro has gotten way better in processing and picture quality from launch day. So they have gotten better but disappointing how much they won't just use the 8 pro camera system
Oneplus 7 pro
Oneplus 7t/ 7tpro
Oneplus 8
Oneplus 8t
hi chris
thanks for the comparison, i am thinking of upgrading to the 8T from the 6T. i have the oneplus warp 30 car charger will this work with the 8T?
Yes
cheers for the video chris. any comment on the security concerns with Oneplus being a chinese company? Dunno why Huawei gets loads of hate, but oneplus and other seem to escape questioning.
I'm still enjoying my One Plus 7 👀
What about the black crush and green tint issue on the OP8 Pro ? did u notice them, have the been fixed? plz let me know bro.
Can someone help me. Which one should I buy? Oneplus 8t or iPhone 11.
decided to go with the 8t when I was looking at the p6. $499 for 12gb ram and 256 storage? yes please! 65watt charging is a game changer. I don't miss wireless charging at all
got mine in august love iiiittt, it's so fast. rocking the 12GB
"It was a sphincter clenching moment".
i think i would like to go for the One plus 8T... why cant they come up with a black color option ?? I so wanted the black ! I am currently using a 6 pro from Mi what do you suggest @techspurt?
Subscribed for that steins gate wallpaper 😊
But it's over 300 euro cheaper, pretty impressive phone to that price
Did the 8T score less because it's using LPDDR4X instead of LPDDR5 that the 8 Pro is using, Or is UFS 3.1 evening things out?
iam from india which one best sir 8T and 8pro selfi and overall
I recently bought the OnePlus 8 pro but have to return it because it does not work on Sprint. Buying the 8T now and im excited!
An excellent display of all the features and features of both phones, but I want you to help me choose between them. What would you recommend for me? I am from Egypt.
I still prefer the 8 pro in terms of display: curved, QHD, bigger and more elegant.
I'm currently still using my 3T and looking to an upgrade, but I'm seriously thinking of getting the 8 pro, which is much cheaper now.
Not really impressed with the new 8T
I just got a OnePlus 8 Pro. It's absolute gem.
@@instantgratification3925 what about the low brightness screen problems, did you notice something?
@@thomascicutto9216 It was a software issue found on early units. OnePlus fixed it with software update. I haven't seen any problem with the display or other parts yet.

@@instantgratification3925 I won't do a curved screen. I'm to hard on phones
I hope you can make a comparison between 8T and 7T Pro... They have almost same price... Is it worth it to upgrade from 7T Pro to 8T?
no
I think 8t is better
thank you for the info I will be picking up one of them next year to be my 5G phone until something truly over the top techwise come out.
Yo People in comments, for Someone who doesnt like curved phones. Is Oneplus 8T best Option out Here atm? For flat Screen type phones not the curved Ones. Or are there few new Ones Coming out Soon?
Your other option in the same price segment will be Samsung s20 FE. If I were you I'd wait for a while as some users have complained about the s20 fe's touch senstivity.
@@prafulsai8020 thanks dude.
Just wanted to put it out there that the One Plus 8 Pro does actually come with a pre installed screen protector for certain orders. I've ordered two (my screen was defected so I ordered a replacement) and both had protectionm
Yeah I wondered about that comment too as I got a preinstalled screen protector too thankfully.
nope
@@kaleishaallen9054 no what loool this was a fact
I think you should make a comparison video for oneplus 8, 8 pro, nord, and 8T all together to spot out the actual preference from all please
Thank you for making this one though
Mi 10t or oneplus 8t???
The 8T has a 402PPI screen and less pixels, is this a deal breaker over the 8 Pro?
Not at all
@@Ach1m7 it didn't matter in the end, I bought an 8T.
@@TheM5Dog good decision. Me too
Another great review where the screen of the 8T seems to flicker. Is that a real issue? I noticed it on another 8T review as well.
The refresh rate of these phones don’t match the 60fps of this video that is being shot in so irl you won’t see the flicker of your filming a video holding the phone then the video result you may see flickering on your phone
Getting myself Oneplus 8 pro in a week, Am I doing a right thing?
Of course

Today I ordered 8T on Amazon great Indian sale 12+256GB... Silver frost color.

It costed me INR 44,250.00 after discount of INR 1700.
@Yashwanth O , Do not buy … not good Phone . Go for pro model
@Yashwanth O , Go for Samsung or if budget is no issue go pro iPhone 12 because price drop .
@Yashwanth O , Go ahead whatever you like . If you frankly ask me I like Huawei P20 , P30 phones . … due to spying & involvement with Chines govt Huawei is not doing good & now there is no support from Google too ! Otherwise technically , innovation , battery , camera in all department it excels all iPhone , Samsung etc . Now I have iPhone 12 Pro as a my primary driver , secondary Huawei 20 X and I will sell one plus because of frequent draining of battery .. lot of issues . My all time favourite Huawei!
Im curious for a oneplus 7T vs oneplus 8T review... Got the 7T and I really think the 8T isn't much of an upgrade when it gets the software update...
If i were you i would definitely wait to buy the 9 or 9t even. I've been using my 5t for the past three years and am only now thinking about upgrading to the 8t. I think spending 750 bucks for a phone with slight improvements isn't really worth it...
@@lourobin5927 did u make the jump to 8T? Im also using a 5T & have been eyeing the 8T but am not sure
@@lourobin5927 good take. My 2 year old 7T has no trouble getting through a long day at jobsite beaming podcasts or Pandora jazz to Bluetooth speaks.

In my country, 8 pro is 720$ while samsung s20 fe cost 670$. Which one should I go?
Definitely 8pro
8 pro if you got the money

just to clarify no expandable sd card storage on 8T? I still use my S9plus no problems but I have been wanting a one plus phone. how would I transfer my SD card to the 8T?

what about OnePlus 8T vs Samsung Galaxy s10 plus?
I would choose 8T just for the flat screen
Did you face any green tint or black crush or hole punch banding issues on the 8t like people did on the 8pro?
Nobody seems to be talking about this issue that is seen on Indian units
This is a huge issue. I’m very curious to see if it is also present on the 8t
Will the price drop after the 9 comes?
Yes but you'll have to to pull the trigger on the 8 the second the 9 gets realeased or they'll be none left. I was going to get the 7pro when the 8 came out but left it too long and they all sold out when they dropped the price!
should i get the 8t for €488??
