I have to admit as a professional filmmaker and photographer I have pretty high standards for what I will accept with cameras and I had to try and keep that in mind with this camera. I like to try out unknown budget cameras just for fun to see what they can do. I was impressed with the specs as the camera shoots 4K 60 and 120FPS at 1080p but the image quality and the data rate are so low I just couldn't personally enjoy using the camera. The camera also shoots 48mp still photos but there is no optical zoom only a 16X digital zoom. I think this could be a fun camera for those not serious about photography or video but if you plan to make either a serious hobby I would have to steer you towards a different camera. This camera does come with some helpful accessories like an external microphone an extra battery and a handheld stabilizer. Its not a terrible camera its just that there are so many other good options it's hard to recommend it over them.

This camera promised a lot from the beginning, but it is what it is for the price it comes. I'll say for serious filmmakers or aspiring producers it won't work, but if you plan on just taking clips and snapping them together without much process, it might work for it. With that bitrate, you can't expect something amazing.

Was looking at this for my son to get into filming. I know the review is a year old but 4k 60p would be a heavy file for even this cam Corder I'd assume. Thus having quick storage to keep up with the data coming in is a must. I have a bmpcc4k and I have to use an ssd to keep up with the data coming in. Idk if ppl pay attention to the actual speed of Sd cards they buy, but even my dji mini drone warns me that my sd card import speed is slow if i choose the wrong one. Thank you for the review!
Get him a different camera something more robust even older like a GH3 GH4 or any of the older 4K M43 cameras.

To add to the idea of an old iPhone filming setup, here’s some accessories that add up to about $150 to toss in there. Not needed, but nice to have for sure!
New budget setup is about to be an old iPhone, a battery bank, the small rig smartphone stabilizer, a VXR-10 mic, lightning to 3.5mm adapter, and the filmic pro video app.

I have had Red and this one is much better!
The best camcorder for around 200 is the Sony CX405 👌🏼 you might want to check it out. Shoots 50 bitrate 60 x Zoom, and it's a great handycam. I hope this helps

I’m looking for a camera I can leave on a tripod on the beach while I surf. I’ve seen the Soloshot and it doesn’t fit the bill. Too expensive, too buggy. Also, I am usually between 100-500 feet from the camera and don’t move around more than 100 feet laterally.
My thought was that with 4k, I could edit later to zoom in and remove some of the background. Does that make sense? I’m not looking to publish the video, it’s mostly just for my own use. Using it to train technique etc.
I feel like this camera would work for me. Do you have other suggestions?
No this camera will not work for you either get a camera with good zoom or better yet use a 360 camera like the Insta360 One X3 camera and film yourself in the water.

My 4k video camcorder is problematic with its MIC that came with the camcorder. I switched it to various settings. Pls direct and provide some troubleshooting option on this issue without having to buy another MIC. Thank you.
This camera and mic are trash the only option is to get a better setup.
In this similar 4k hd camera. I am not able to transfer video file from handicamers by usb camera. At least usb button is also not available on this camera.
Try removing the memory card and transferring from the memory card.

No I did not make a video about the Wi-Fi feature on here in fact I don't recommend this camera for anyone because I felt the image quality was so poor that you would get better quality out of a budget smartphone that would cost less money.

hello! i was wondering if the you've experienced any sound delay with this camera. i was hooking the camera up to my tv and i started to notice the sound was delayed even when it wasn't hooked up. do you know how i might be able to fix that?

@@TodayIFeelLike yeah i think it mightve been a storage issue or maybe i didnt format it yet(i was having issues putting the SD card in because I didn't want to pressure it too hard)because once i formatted it(i lost my videos and photos sadly) and started recording videos for testing, the sound wasn't delayed.
Sony 24P Hi-Def. cameras offer better video & stable codecs. Chinese clones are probably 8-16MP upscaled.

No I would not I would recommend that you go get a mirrorless camera of some sort if you don't have a much of a budget I would recommend you getting a smartphone the image quality on smartphone even the lowest iPhone is going to be better than this camera.

What app do I download for this camera?
RoadCam [I just got this camera and downloaded the app that an unboxing UA-camr said goes with this camera. I haven't used the app yet though. I did record some footage last night, but I can't seem to hear it on the playback. I think I'm going to have to use an SD reader instead. Fingers crossed.

Imagequality is really awfull, ok, its cheap, but it doesnt`t match up the specs. They should say it`s 720p and I am fine with it.
