@@starki11a nope, I barely use anything. (: I use GPS when I’m going somewhere I think I’ll have trouble finding it. Most of the time I just use my phone to check the area I happen to be in. I think this is the day I didn’t use anything. I’ll have to check that out though. Thanks!
@@rrmf13 Yes, I recommend it. It is an addon to the web browser. It makes many tweaks to the website and irons out many wrinkles. One of its best features is the "VIP list". Everyone's profiles has a VIP icon. You can click to activate or deactivate it (no friend requests) and then all the logs by those people show up. It is handy to find your own logs, a quick date published (by making the usual reviewers VIPs), and lots of fun when looking at distant caches and seeing the friends who have been there! It is especially handy to summarize caches with many logs. It also kind of opens up the photos in advance for you, so you don't have that click and load going on anymore. Many more features too! Good luck!
ua-cam.com/video/WDiFSr-z01g/v-deo.htmlsi=L0sMU-vjRhn0Clc5&t=241 I use the volume down button (android feature) to take a photo or start/stop video. I also usually use a pen that has a soft "finger" feature for easier clicking around in cold weather. For any serious geocaching though, the old fashioned Oregon touchscreen works well in the cold and can use no problem with gloves.
First time seeing one of these ever pop up on my recommended. Congrats when you hit 366 (hopefully)
@@CalebSix thank you and thanks for watching!
Do you use GC Little Helper? PC, not phone, but mind blowing functionality and does what you wish and more!

@@starki11a I think the phone I use for the videos has a glove setting now that I think of it. (:
What do you have for a phone? Cgeo for android will show friends logs including your own, in a separate tab
@@BrentSmithsimrebel I have an iPhone and an android. I just use the main Geocaching app. Maybe I should check out some of the other apps. (:
