It looks like the hole is there , they just didn't put rod in? Can't you just put a rod into the neck? Or even have the hole drilled and a rod installed ? Would it just be cheaper and easier to put a new neck on it? A Warmoth flamed maple neck would make that problem a thing of the past. ***Edit*** oh... I read that the fret board has to come off first. Well guys , go ahead and let me have it.

Just buy a seven string, sand it and spray paint the hello kitty design. It'll be better
If it’s a bolt on guitar he can literally just use any neck off of most bolt-ons as long as things match up and it fits
You could also alternatively do a truss rod "replacement". I've seen a video where someone cut off the fretboard, swapped out the truss rod, and glued back on the fretboard on like an old Telecaster. Maybe if there's a cavity they can add a truss rod or route one if there isn't. Like the other alternative though, it is gonna cost a pretty penny. At that point it'd probably be cheaper to get a cheap Ibanez or Jackson 7-string, spray paint it pink, and add on the pick guard.
Take the finger board off, put some carbon rods in there and a 2 way truss rod, oh and replace the wood screws with threaded bits, sorted. Absolutely a dumb think to do, but since when has that stopped you.

There are surprisingly quite a few knock-off guitars that work pretty well with the right modifications. For example, you can easily get a replica of James Hetfield's EET FUK explorer for $300 rather than spending $2,500 on an original MX-220.
I am planning to order a Rickenbacker copy & modify it to create a replica of Cliff's famous Rickenbacker

dude, Warmoth 7string neck roasted flame maple with stainless steel frets and you’re GOLDEN. you could easily get them to paint the headstock to match the body too.

A refret will straighten the neck, as long as the luthier knows that's what you want to do. If it's bowing in, they can use frets with thicker beads to spread the fret slot. After you do several frets, it'll start to flatten. If it bows the other way, they can use thinner beads.
I've refretted several old acoustic that didn't have truss rods.
you can make a hello kitty pick guard at nearly any sign company for like $50 and you can paint a strat pink....so, that might have been a cheaper route.

You should try to talk a luthier into seeing if they’d make a neck with one of the old 80’s Banana headstock designs like you’d see on a lot of old Kramer’s 👀
Warmoth might make a neck for that. I know they make excellent standard Strat type necks. Not sure if they make 7 string necks, but if they do, that might be your best option.
Warmoth DOES have 7-string necks, just not anything fitting the strat look
I put about $700+ into my son's Harley benton 😂. James Hetfield pickups and floyd rose FRX, new nut locking tuners and custom knobs. Even a custom camouflage paint job. It's amazing.
I remember when the first hello kitty guitar came put at guitar center it was a squire strat and it was actually decent for 350 dollars back in 2008. And i put some nice slash sig pickup on the bridge in it and a floyd rose with locking tunners and locking nut and its a beast

Bro thats an epic guitar! I wish i had one of those! But to be fair what did you expect ordering off of Alibaba express. But wanna hear a fun fact? Hello kitty is like the japanese equivalent to goth and all that stuff supposedly. I can't remember the specifics source i was reading from but i found out that around the same time as goth and stuff was becoming popular so was cutesy pastel color stuff in japan. Whats funnier to is that both were a theme all about rejecting old and outdated traditions that no longer served to favor younger upcoming generations. Its funny how both have the same motives, around the same era but have completely contrasting styles!
Edit: then again this while tidbit was from a random repost of an article i found on Pinterest. So take this info with a decently sizable grain of salt. But the possibility of that being the case sounded really interesting!

If the neck is now too bowed to play normally, then just tune it to an open chord such as Amin, and use it for slide. The overly high action will help prevent the slide from clunking against the frets, especially for single note lines on the High E string. I'm kinda' eager to see and hear you do some rippin' slide leads between some low sludgy slide riffage... A dedicated 7 string high action slide guitar could be an extremely cool addition to your arsenal...

Either with a Strat styled seven string guitar or a DIY Kit
So... the less costly/timely/better option is buy any other seven string guitar and have it painted with Hello Kitty?

Take the neck off and look at the other end for a trust rod adjustment cause alot of cheap companys put them in the wrong side so you cant adjust it unless you pull it off the body

I’m 16 and I would say that I look around what I’m supposed to in my eyes. However of others that might not be the case. I’m a 4’11 black girl and in a Uber to go to work one day the Uber said that I “look too young to work”. I don’t mind maybe looking a little older in the face but at the end of the day it’s my hight. All of my relatively short existence people I’ve met have always assumed that I’m younger than I really am. When I was 7th grade some woman I met said I looked like I was in 5th. It was an odd experience. For me I just look appropriate for what I said be and not younger or older if that makes sense.

If you're gonna throw in a bunch of upgrades, just get a Warmoth body in pink, a pickguard off etsy and whatever else you want. That would be one high quality instrument.
My sister in law gave me a alliexpress SG knock off. Put epiphone bridge, pots, pick ups. And though it's not a great player it sounds massive.
You could try and find a good luthier and have them put some carbon fiber rods and a decent truss rod. And make a video on the subject, I mean, we're as your audience would apreciate. Probably the guitar makers and repair shops would apreciate it too

They just didn't add it, I have a cheap electric I use for.. experiments and destructive tendencies I got for $100, it sounds fine but it's neck is wonky too lol it came with a cheap amp even! It's a little small but not kid sized too, genuinely was impressed when it got here

I own a heavily modified Mitchell md-300. I bought it when I graduated high school. Needless to say the only thing that is stock is literally the body. Everything is swapped INCLUDING the neck. Just buy a 7 string neck and mount that bad boy up. And before everyone asks "why did you drop so much money into am entry level guitar?" Well that's because the body felt fucking amazing to me

dont worry its never too late just make sure you get an electric guitar as your first guitar and you dont need an amp since you will spend most of your time practicing anyway
All of those problems are on pretty much every three-quarter/kids guitar. I bought a Kawasaki Pro and it didn't have the truss rod, the nut is 💩, and the bridge wasn't put in the right spot. I put Gotoh tuners on it and a tele bridge of some kind off ebay, but yeah, the neck will never be perfect, although it's a little thicker than that one
Would you like to buy a My Pretty Pony Rainbow Dash custom, with glittery pickups, and a handmade strap, with "BF4Lyfe" spelled out in sequin hearts? I'd say about $1200 worth of modifications would make it sound as sweet as it looks!

I got this guitar and asked them to make it 8 string. I always offer to pay extra for premium upgrades.
It costs me an extra $30US.... I always ask for "premium" upgrade now- but tge standards of Chinese guitars has been improving at a scary rate the past few yesrs

Incorrect, the most metal guitar is similar but its an acoustic and it is played by a viking with a pick for a thumbnail. If you know what video I’m talking about, props. If not, look up zakk wylde hello kitty, I promise you wont be disappointed.
