I'm not sure. I'd go to a camera store that carries them and bring your camera, ask to try them out. The body of the XA11 is a little bit bigger than the G40, so I'm really not sure about a small gimbal.

Thanks. I have the Canon Vixia HF R800 and I've been having a really hard time finding a compatible gimbal. People seem to have best luck with the Zhiyuns I've noticed.
I haven't used the gimbal for hours and hours with the camera, but the batteries last about 11 to 12 hours on my GH5s, so I imagine they'd last at least 9hrs with this camera. It is a little heavier.
I'm not sure about that because I've never tried it with the gimbal before, and I don't own one either. it seems to be about the same size and weight though, so it should work.

They do seem to accommodate a lot of different sizes and types of cameras. Not so much for the Black Magic Design ones though.
GH5 struggling to auto focus is one reason why Camcorders are not dead yet.
Exactly what I was thinking. The newest Panasonic and Canon high end consumer camcorders have fairly large sensors now as well.

I prefer Canon G70 than G40 because it have 4K Uhd video and usb-c ports.

What control cable did you use for the camera?
There is no control cable for this camera. You have to use the camera's wifi, browser control.
Vixia hf 70 will work fine ?
