      Hahaha, how many situations do you get to walk through freshly laid wet cement?? I know it's ridiculous, but after working in customer service for so many years, gotta add as many disclaimers as possible. ;)

      Aww yay! I would totally go globetrotting and visit Praga in my Pragas! And I would feel like a walking “yo dawg /pimp my ride” meme, haha! 😆

    My dad had a pair of shoes that pinched on his pinky toe, he ended up getting a shoe expander and there was a little nobbly bit that you could pop into various places on the expander, and he was able to stretch it in that specific place. I don't know if that might be helpful to you, but Google is your friend!
    Also, I know I've said this before but in every shoe I remember how your legs are to DIE for!

    • @LucysCorsetry
      @LucysCorsetry  5 років тому +1

      Ooh thanks for the tip! I got some shoe stretch lotion but maybe combining it with the expander will make it even more effective.
      And aww thank you! I’m wearing pantyhose in this one so you don’t see how many times I’ve hit my shin on the coffee table, haha. But these legs are the only ones I have so they do me well. 😊

      @@LucysCorsetry Oh I've hit my shins on so many things over the years haha, currently my right ankle is a nice pinkish purple colour where I skinned it while training and it's lightly scarred.

    Hi Lucy , Very cool shoes for the Fall !! , I like the 'steampunk-ish' look. Thanks for sharing , take care , Gary 

    • @LucysCorsetry
      @LucysCorsetry  5 років тому +1

      Thank you! I didn't originally think Steampunk but I can definitely see it, now that you mention it! It might be cool in a warm brown leather with gold accents. I do love my classic black, though!

    I don't remotely vibe with shoe shopping (sensory issues!) but I keep coming back to this vid and drooling. I don't even want convertible heels - I just want the kitten heels. Such a classy retro look! And of course, like you mentioned, they're out of stock even if I had the money and felt like gambling on an online purchase. Gosh they're so gorgeous on you though.

    You can try to take them to a shoemaker/shoe repair and have them stretch the width.

    Please do a review video for Pashion Footwear convertible heels (pashion footwear.com) . I would love to know what you think of them. Plus, there is a discount code for first-time buyers.

      Therina83 I already own a pair of their shoes, but I injured my foot a few months ago and I lost a toenail because of it, so I’m waiting for it to grow back in before I review any sandals.

    • @Therina83
      @Therina83 4 роки тому

      @@LucysCorsetry Oh no. I'm sorry to hear about your injury. But can't wait for your review on them. Just ordered a pair myself after my Mime et moi sandals started to break down after only 2 months of wear. Wondering if the switch is worth it or not.
      Get better soon.😉

    Lucy, if you need to stretch your shoes, this is what you do. Take a Ziploc bag fill it with water zip lock it, get another bag and sit that bag inside another Ziploc bag that's bigger zip it and lock it now please remember to take the air out of the Ziploc bags. Put the ziplock bag inside your shoe pushing it all the way to your toe where you're having a problem stick your shoe in the freezer when water turns to ice it expands is going to expand your shoe the next day take it out of your shoe and try your shoe on you should have more room.

    • @californiamojavegardener5505
      @californiamojavegardener5505 5 років тому

      No the leather wont crack. Just take the zip lock bag out. Then let shoes come to room temperature and try on. If you think its going to crack condition the leather before wearing, or before putting in the freezer.

    It's times like this that I wish I didn't have feet like Donald Duck. There are shoe stretchers. That might help.

    • @LucysCorsetry
      @LucysCorsetry  5 років тому +1

      Aww! If it makes you feel any better, my true shoe size is somewhere around 5.5 Extra Wide. My foot shape basically hasn't changed since I was a toddler, haha. I just normally wear size 7 shoes because they can fit my width, and I usually have a good 1.5 inches of space in the toe box at the front that I sometimes stuff with makeup sponges, depending on the shoe. I got really lucky with these booties, mostly because of the stretch panels.

    I wish I would pay $220 for a shoe with a disposable plastic heel

    • @LucysCorsetry
      @LucysCorsetry  5 років тому +1

      You might be appalled to learn that there are designer shoes over $700 that still have a molded plastic heel, which aren't interchangeable or replaceable so if you break or scuff them you're SOL.
