Haha this is no fail. The Miata took it to Beemers. It just needs a coolant reroute, and a bit more suspension tuning, probably a set of Yokohama AD08R as well.
It had a reroute at this point but also had other issues. It had AD08R and decent suspension also, just not a lot of seat time on my part. The car has undergone quite a bit of changes since this video however :)

For one thing, I doubt the nurburgring is warm exactly, and for another, it looks like he was running pretty hot. The Miatas cooling system is a bit of a weak point on the earlier generations. Turning the heat on full blast causes some of the excess heat to be transferred away from the engine and into the cabin.

It's a difficult one, they both have their pros and cons, but you'll almost always get more power from a turbo. That said. The MAIN thing you have to worry about with Superchargers is the belt alignment v a turbo where you have oil, water, heat, and the entire exhaust to take into account.
@@Fordfocusstmk3250 no worries. Personally I love a turbo, but unless you spend the money to make it reliable they are a nightmare (when converting that is, an OEM application is a different matter). The MX5 driver has no business overtaking on a TF lap without seeing an indicator from the M3, let alone silly a dive down the inside in a tricky corner.
