+DC Steve For those curious Most of these American Trucks on the Nürburgring have the license plate "BIT" which is for Bitburg, a major US Military Presence is there, so most of these Drivers are actually Americans with their American Trucks in Germany. The same is true for some other license Plates that are from Cities/Towns near or next to a US Army Base.

It's registered as a three wheeler, which means, that 16 year olds are allowed to drive it in Germany. Normally you need to be at least 18 years old to operate a car on german roads.
