I have the same kit. It really helped me when I started out. It showed me what all those instruments do. Now I fly much bigger sims. Thanks for posting.

@@jamiedavis2389 Flight simulators are only good if you practice it the correct way. So with every real world flying experience go and redo in the sim.

When in landing configuration Your air speed is controlled by yoke, and altitude is controlled by throttle. Give that a try when you land. When landing...never ever push down elevator to control altitude.
Pitch for speed throttle for height.
Nice to have a stick and a yoke depending on what you’re flying.

Same. I bought the game and it runs pretty smooth on my pc but I don’t have the proper joystick to have the greatest experience. The mouse and keyboard for some reason is too sensitive.

my issue is that I need to be able to use my computer (30 inch display) and still be able to work at my computer . BUT when i install my controls I have to get rid of my keyboard and mouse., I don't know what to do.. buy another monitor and set it of to one side?

You can may Flight aim on a Mac useing boot camp, parallels, virtual game server, or gamepass online.
I use a Mac as well and X Plane looks like a good alternative to MS Flight Simulator

Where can I get it? My son David is 7 and he is so much into this and wants be a pilot when he grows up. He plays every day the airplane simulator on Roblox and sees UA-cam videos about airplanes and pilots , makes airplanes with Legos , and wood sticks. I couldn't even understand the airplane simulator game and he explained it to me to understand it and I still can't 😂. But he is so much into it and I want to buy something like this for him.

By far my favourite flight simulator video ever! This is got me to want to purchase the Logitech items! They have been so fun to mess around with and to get family to attempt to fly with them! Keep up the good stuff!
There are more and more planes using joystick these days. The yoke is disappearing in modern planes

I always have a few standby controllers. Always buy the best controller you can afford.
i use that basic joystick now as my wheel tiller I have the exact same setup I also got to the airbus side stick and throttle
How much is all the hardware including the PC? Looking into building one for myself.
The Logitech controls and rudder pedals is about $300 on Amazon. Pc builds is personal taste. You may be able to build one for a budget under $500. Plenty of videos and sources. Partpicker and Newegg.
Oh god I started with the same HOTAS.
I went with the logic that in order to figure out whether I want HOSAS or M+K in combat games where aiming with mouse is kind of superior, I should get a cheap one and try it out for a few months.
I am not sure it was worth it though because unless the game is better optimized for HOSAS than for M+K, the struggle will just compound with the quality issues of a cheap HOTAS such as large, uneven deadzone, wiggly input and unpredictable signals.

Great video good job you made it to the ground is very frustrating to watch. He try to drive it on the ground with the OK that’s funny. But I guess if you don’t know any better but when you’re on the ground used rudder pedals course in a giant plane like that they actually have a little wheel that years when you’re on the ground but that’s getting way too deep in the weeds.
That blue lever is not flaps. It changes the propellor and engine speeds! And flaps all the way up on takeoff is not correct either, only in special circumstances.

I have the same yoke, throttle quadrant and rudder pedals and will be setting everything up this week. Does Xplane automatically recognize that these controls are present when the program is loaded?
For the most part it does. But you can also assign roles to buttons which originally don’t have functions

I wish these companies create an almost exsct replica of the engine throttle and joystick. These looks like a child's toy with tjose blue red color scheme.
Those are the colors you would find them in a real aircraft. Specifically a Cessna.

Can you tell me about the blieprints behind you? Where you get them?
I currently have a TKL keyboard and I am planning to get these accessories to fly, do I still need to have a full size keyboard for FS 2020 or I will be fine if I have the accessories? I know that if I fly with just the mouse/keyboard it would be ideal to have a full size one because you will be using the numeric keys to control the airplane but I don't know if I need it when I get the peripherals.
the logitech yoke is quite bad and cheap, you should get the honeycomb alpha yoke its much better but it is quite a bit more than the logitech
Top tip when you are in the air you don’t put the engines to 0 because you will stall like your friend did and pretty much have no control of the plane. I think you need to know the basics your self.
You need engine speed to land. Top tip.
Just do the tutorial on Microsoft flight sim that should get you started
It depends on airspeed, if you need to bleed off speed, you can bring throttle to idle.
that logitech setup is what im currently thinking about getting. right now im flying with my sim racing wheel and pedals. it works but its not ideal

If someone playing first time landed with no issues then i doubt its very realistic. I was really keen to buy it but now seeing this im skeptical. It seems too easy.

i want to get one but i noticed in this video the throttle part had an old PS2 connection cable. can this not be connected to the PC directly so I can use a separate joystick with it?
@@cmdrlt.evildead5328 not too sure mate the throttle quadrant has a usb output and plugs into the back of the yok or straight to pc so i'm sure you could use a normal flight stick with either piece
