Swiss001: uh oh my joystick is broken!!
Swiss001: *crashes plane* AAAAAAGGHH *throws joystick*
Where is the ,
realistic
That plastic one isn't gonna survive the first throw LMAO
yeah EVERY ONE SAW HIM DO THAT AT LEST ONCE
@@InklingBoy I've dropped the throttle of my desk a few times and it is just fine. It is different than throwing it but that's still impressive.
2:38 That is actually the trigger that airbus pilots use to make communications on the frequency they are on. My dad flies the A330's for QANTAS and he told me about it when we were watching sully.
@The 2nd aviation qantas is amazing
Up the Qantas especially the a330
@@Towga. yup
I’m so glad my dad told me about aviation and that’s how I know alot about these things and that’s why I’m here
@@orenalairlines6101 it's weird for me, none of my family are pilots and my dad actually has a fear of flying. Lol! I just started researching and found an interest and a passion

Also Swiss 001:presses buttons on the new joystick like a maniac and wonders why his old one is broken

Thanks swiss for all the videos, you deserve to win a prize for uploading everyday
He did win a prize. UA-cam monetization.
Why don't you fly the Flybywire A32nx instead? It's just 100x better
I agree, it’s like the Zibomod 737 of MSFS
or like the project airbus a320 for fsx
the A330 uses FBW avionics
@@rdablock I think he meant the addon, its called Flybywire A32nx.
wait isnt the addon currently broken?
Most joysticks are righthanded due to a lot of combat flight simulators like DCS for example and nearly all of the combat birds i know are righthanded. In case you want to fly boeings or airbuses or other typical civilian airplanes most Sim-Players put their hands on a yoke wich makes way more sense than fly an 737 with a joystick.
Looks beautiful Swiss , always inspiring me :)
Thrustmaster has now introduced Boeing yoke and throttle quadrant. Test that whenever it is available. BTW congratulations for your new setup.
Actually that’a insane I’ve been using the airbus one on Boeing planes
Did you still not get the A32NX? XD
You should do a full live stream with this new setup with the updated A32NX! Would be awesome
the fact he literally keeps on pressing or kicking his equipment like a maniac is so damn funny
Just don't let him on the flight deck😂😂😂LOL
As a right-hander, using the stick left-handed posed no problem for me. I even expected it to do so myself but no issue here
good to know
Same, most things are impossible with my left hand, but the side stick is just so easy to use
Good thing you've got the pedals to control your rudder. These are notorious for having the rudder controls twitching all over the place. Mine does that. Have disassembled it twice to untangle some wires inside, around the sensor. Lasts for a few days and then it starts acting up again. Apparently this was also a problem with the older version of the joystick from years back. Disappointing that they haven't done anything to fix it.
I haven't seen the inside but have you tried using tape?
All I do when I disassemble mine is spray some wd40 in the moving parts and the acting stops. Have to do it like once every year or 2 years sometimes
lock it
@@mentalretardation69420 And use rudder, how? :^)))
@@ThisMayContainNuts uhhhh... pshhhhhhhhh
do not use the rudder! :)
you can also try tightening it somehow or put something to hold the things together e.g. cotton or a sponge(clean=
Great setup Swiss, definitely something new
"..that actually came out today the 12th of October"
Me owning the full set since February
I have the joystick since christmas last year...
he meant the captain pack, all in one box. previously they are available as separate pruducts/boxes.
@@g_pazzini not really! Officers pack was out since forever. I was thinking why is he saying that it launched today?
@@Bhavin_Lathia captain pack is new released pack. It’s the compilation of all TCA Airbus controller pruducts (sidestick, thrust quadrant, addon quadrant)
@@g_pazzini Makes sense, I'm surprised Thrustmaster didn't just release it all at once as a pack in the first place. Was so hard to find the additional throttle add-on as I had to wait an additional 4 months for it to arrive.
Swiss - "shut up gear alert"
GA - "ok swiss"
2:56 the way he said “I can probably make an asmr video about this joystick; Jesus Christ”got me laughing
Let's admit: we all like to see things we can't afford
its more affordable than the honeycomb gear
@@SantaGamerUA-cam Thats true!!!
Omg Swiss I ordered my thrust master airbus joystick yesterday, right before ur vid came out, amazing video byw, tks
you can also use the joystick in a right hand configuration in the box there are 2 more little attachments that you can put on the top of the joystick that swap the autopilot and the black button around to make it a right hand joystick
He said it in the video
I also have this. For me it works amazing in combination with the A32NX mod.
This is why when I saw the video just now it had only 100 views, just realised that it was literally just posted. Nice vid man!
Very informative. Like it. Thrustmaster is coming up with Boeing Yoke as well, maybe do another review?
Thanks FSX, for 15 years of service to the entire flight sim community, since October 13 2006!!
**Swiss001 test the throttle**

**Swiss001 test flaps and stuff work**
Swiss001 : “👹yieSSsSsSs~👹”
How much times did Nick say "Left hand"
LMAO
4:53 Swiss001's Jeremy Clarkson impersonation
The way you used it and seeing that the product is still in one piece has convinced me to go for it😂😂
lol imagine what the sponsors mustve thought when he was handling it so roughly and talked about amsr 😂
Getting one for Christmas can't wait
An Airbus pilot tested it and told me that the feelings of this joystick are quite the same as a real Airbus 👌🏻
As someone who is left handed, the joystick is very nice.
I just got this today and I think this is one of the best setup for a setup
3:00 swiss calls the quadrant a joystick lol
True lol
Swiss001 in today's stream: have issues with the reverse thrust and the sidestick. (Stall always completely out) and butters the bread or actually not
Can you do a series where you review different cockpit setups?
Swiss: if you are going to fly in this control, you must practice left hand
Me: get Boeing Yoker to control
You can still only use your left hand (assuming you are the captain) because you need to have one hand on the throttle
i like how in the thumbnail he is reacting to his own setup
Happy for you you got a new yoke and throttle system
swiss having fun for the first time in weeks
I’m planning on buying that thanks for the review
Im betting my life savings swiss is gonna break this setup in 2 months maximum
1 month
2:39 yes they do. It is a switch to engage the speaker so you can start talking with atc
Good and rather animated review... great work
Thanks for the review I am soon going to be getting an Xbox series X and all the thrustmaster things u showed so thank you!
I don't think they're compatible.
@@smasheduptoaster9186 they are
@@flightsimexplain5026 Thrustmaster themselves say it's only compatible with pc. But it's your money so sure, you can buy it if you want. Just don't be surprised when it doesn't work.
Does it work or not?
this flight stick is smooth for handle the plane !its great !
Congrats!
Still, you will need a bigger desk if all controller manufacturers will send their version 😅
Next thing you know, they will be making entire panels for flight simulators.
Why not
They do already
So you havent seen the 737 MCP on Amazon for 1,0000 dollars. A must have.
0:25 is that a "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" keychain? I have the same one hanging from a USB cable lol
Bruh meanwhile my setup is just a walking stick connected to a control system on the ground and a few realistic buttons (im planning on getting a Boeing center steer thing)
I use a yoke because I can then use both hands or only the left hand and use my righthand for mouse and throttles, pitchtrim, flaps, speedbrakes etc. That is a problem for helicopters. You can let go of the collective but not the cyclic (joystick, unless you have a non-centring version with adjustable friction)
I have a T16000, the same as yours but not blue, and it is pretty good. Electronical and mechanical, after 3 years still good, no noise either thanks to the hall sensors
I don't think not being able to let go of the cyclic is a problem with helicopters. In a plane, you can let go of the throttle but not the yoke unless you're on autopilot. Same with helicopters.
@@smasheduptoaster9186 Real helis have a user-settable friction for the cyclic. There is a video from a Norwegian real life slingline heli pilot where he demos that. However in the sim with a self centering joystick (like 99% of the joysticks are) you must use force trim, normal trim or AP, if you want to let go of the cyclic. In helis without adjustable friction, you can not let go of the cyclic because they are non-centring and drop to one side (depending gravity and movement of the heli) if you do not hold them. (or use AP, but not all helis or airplanes in RL have AP)
The helis I fly in Xplane the most have force trim and normal trim. I use a switch on my joystick for force trim. I seldom use AP, I like handflying everything.
In a plane, if you are not on AP, you can let go of the yoke because you always use the pitch trim (also in real planes) I have made a pitchtrim wheel next to my yoke. In a modern Airbus with FBW you do not need to use trim, the FBW system takes care for that. So in those planes you can let go of the joystick too.
@@pa4tim planes won't spin out of control crash if you let go of the yoke like a helicopter. But irl, you would never let go the control if the plane wasn't on autopilot.
Sup Swiss, actually I use the same joystick and throttle control. The thrustmaster airbus edition one. It’s actually pretty good is my opinion lol.
I have the airbus TCA officer pack and very recently I bought the honeycomb alpha yoke and it’s a whole different story. It’s much much much better, you have better precision, you make better landing and you fly better basically
Also it feels nicer
@@carloumbertocucchi1358 I have the officer pack and the honeycomb yoke. It is not more precise and the yoke doesn't make you fly better. If it did, Airbus wouldn't use sidesticks in the real plane. I choose based on the aircraft and sometimes I miss the stick when flying a plane with a yoke. But I do agree the yoke feels higher quality but it is also $170 more.
@@smasheduptoaster9186 and you will also need a throttle quadrant and rudders.
Do I need rudder pedals for the airbus captain pack?
i was surprised that nothing broke off as he „played“ with the controls lol
I have it. It's quite durable despite being plastic. I have even dropped it off the desk a few times.
Yes. When the Thrustmater new boeing theme comes out im definately buying it.
I am glad you are enjoying the product I am enjoying mines as well although its been a long time since I got my one
That looks like a super cool flight sim setup one question though can you use this yoke on Xbox?
Your telling me that..swiss has speakers near his PC? BRO THATS SO SICK!
He is sp addictive to that air bus lol
I’m not sure if I should get a joystick and throttle quadrant (this one) or the turtle beach velocity one yoke, what one do you recommend (btw I am experienced with both)
I currently own that throttle.. really nice🤙
the stick is both left and right handed, thats what the extra pieces were for, and the trigger on the back is the real radio button to initiate the radio.
amazing swiss thanks i might be getting one thank you btw you are my number one youtuber keep up the good work
The rear lever on the joystick is the ptt (push to talk) and it’s like the real one
I've just bought it yesterday.
It's really hard to set up in X-Plane
are you sure about that?
it took me little time to set it up
+it has some settings set by default, so it's ever easier
Its not that hard with yt help
where did you get it
I have the airbus TCA officer pack, very recently I bought the honeycomb alpha yoke and it’s a whole different story. It’s much much much better, you have better precision, you make better landing and you fly better basically
I swear his intros just get louder and louder lmao
Do you use rudder pedals as part of your sim? If so, which brand and why?
I've got the sidestick for the airbus thrustmaster and I'm on windows 11 how do i connect it and make is work? If it makes a difference I am on a laptop. Do I need do download something, if so what should I download??
Can you do a video with on what do all the buttons and switched do on the plane
Don't want to fly left handed, just change the buttons and fly right handed
What software do you use to move the aircraft to approach
You need the honeycomb bravo throttle quadrant. It’s awesome and worth the price.
My favourite video keep it up Nick!
the cap over the switch is nice
you can set the afterburner on it
Yes would have the as such the trigger on an Airbus yoke (the proper term for them) initiates communication with ATC
I just got a TCA joystick and it's great ....
And I can say goodbye to that horrible Logitech
Of course it is worth it ! Love it!
I have this Thrustmaster joystick and throttle, and they are perfect:)
Holy moly. It looks so sick than your original one
I have the airbus stick, not the throttle quadrant and like it alot. No issues using the stick with Aerofly or X plane 11 good controller.
I own one of the Logitech first joystick and it still works like a champ I still use it
What Pc do you use, because I´m planning to get a new pc that works very well for msfs 2020
I can’t find where to find those things. Where do people get them from?
**Few weeks later** Hey guys! Welcome back to another Swiss 001 video now we are unboxing the new joystick.
I have an thrustmaster Airbus Sidestick and i just love it instead of running on the keyboard.
As a left handed, I see this as an absolute win
Actually the trigger is for VHF/HF/Selcal or ground comms if the hot mic is manually disabled.
the switch behind the joystick is for communication for the ATC
hey swiss i know this vid is old but im having an issue with the joystick. sometimes it just doesn't detect my inputs mid flight and would take like 2 seconds before it recognizes it
How do you get throttle #2 to work?
I connected it and it kept glitching back and forth
Stick rotation doesn’t work either
Could I ask does the tca captain pack work for the default cessna 172 in xplane 11
Im waiting till the 14th of June when it comes out in one of my local electronic stores
looks like my little brother introduce me his fav toys
Me: mom can we have a yoke at home!?
Mom: no we have a yoke at home.
Yoke at home:
Do you know if you can install this on an acer nitro Microsoft PC Laptop?
7:18 Ryanair be like
yup there is a trigger on an airbus sidestick and it is the transmit button for the planes radio
**Get's thrustmaster set, speaks about having a home cockpit**
Swiss should make a video on the L-1011 TriStar
i love all of your vids swiss
Does the thrustmaster and rudder pedals work with an Xbox Series X?
Left handed people be like: Aww Yeah 😎
