Josh, Really a super example of a homebrew flight sim. With the ever rising cost of hanger space, insurance, fuel, maintenance and all of the other expenses, I have decided, going forward, to just rent a 172 or 180 a few hours per month and build a home flight sim; probably not as outstanding as yours
Thanks for all of the videos you have made to show your process.
Now I need to look at MS 2020, vatsim and at least a decent yoke, peddels, and a throttle panel for starts,

Also, it more seems like your pride is clouding your vision. I mean, congratulations for sticking it out in school, but anyone can read a book and gain the exact same knowledge for a fraction of the price. Strange part is.....you didn’t even gain any real knowledge, obviously, since your simple ass believes the Earth is flat when there has been a plethora of experiments showing different. Check your pride at the door and lay off the drink, man. It’s clouding your vision.

That's truly amazing. Had to look hard to see where your side monitors met actual hardware. Props for creating a setup based on a 172. Have you flown a real one yet? This would help. Subscribed. Have to go check out your videos now.
Also thanks for making a video without all the exterior vomit inducing panning. May I recommend no music as I would rather hear you saying what you are doing.

@@HomeSimPilot Spoke too soon. Watched other videos and the music is non-intrusive but yet deserved in this case. Really nice to see someone use a simulator in a useful realistic manner. I think more simmers should master 172 before they A380.
Watched your pattern video. Respect for doing your checklists. Looked bumpy. I went up the other day with my brother in a 180 Stinson as a right seater. It was bumpy. Test flying a new prop. Outside of the pattern you eventually just give up and let the plane do what it wants.

ievgen tiron it’s not a game it’s a simulator. The title of MFS is “Microsoft Flight Simulator”. Do you even know the meaning of a “Simulator”, and compare this to a game? First off, its not a game because there is nothing to unlock, buy or earn virtual money in. Secondly MFS focuses to get as close to the realism as possible, comparing every aspect spectated in the real world.
Also, in terms of physics the flight simulator contains realistic Aerodynamics in all GA Aircraft. I’m not sure what were your friends telling you but I’m sure you didn’t take a closer look to the gameplays or Discovery Series EP. 3 Aerodynamics. There are small particles or layers of simulated wind socks in all directions. Buildings and scenery also affects this aircraft. More information on the episode in their official channel.
You might just be dumb dude. Don’t just spread fake info, but also just telling things you don’t even know it’s true. Also your friends should be testing the “Alpha” stage of the Sim, so this might also be false.

But for #2 depending on the plane - most of them - they did it in their clothes!. At -40C you don't take your pants off. Can you imagine flying and fighting for your life while in that state.
