Not too sure about Magnaflow, but I absolutely love the Borla XR1 on mine. Mounted mid ship and no resonator. It does droan a bit it's not as bad as I expected, and a lot of that I found was with the dual walled exhaust tip I got. Replaced it with a single wall and it got waaaay better
i used to have the pops and burbles tune but it got annoying really quick. i do get the ocassionaly pop here and there through the gears. i love the 5cyl natural burble the most.

Currently right now im running catless downpipe stock exhaust. But I really should get a new catback... my only issue is drone. I want all the sound but none of the drone
Still having a battle with the droan in mine, (Catless downpipe to a Borla Xr1 mounted mid mid ship, no resonator) but the biggest thing I found was the exhaust tip has quite the effect. Stay with a single wall, changed from a dual to a single and it had quite the drastic effect.
Just curious but why did you opt for the ipd oval tube instead of regular 3 inch? Does the oval sound louder or deeper or did you mainly just do it for ground clearance?
A couple questions: how much does the "new" setup drone? And did you have to recalibrate your CEM after installing bc the o2 sensors would be reading differently?
@@TheVolvoDude I’m in the cities and slowly starting to work on a 2009 C30. Yes it’s a “girl tronic” as the folks on the Swedespeed forum say but I couldn’t find any manuals that were in my budget. Plus I already have a lot of driver engagement with my carbureted, stick, manual choke TR7
