Hi Kirsty In this video at 7:26 it says work from light to dark, however you seem to put the darker shadows in first and then the lighter highlights at around 7:46? Im a bit confused. Maybe it just looks like the lighter highlights are going on after the dark ones because of the contrast?

I have a really important question/s. I'm trying to design and draw a poster with several pictures of the same person. What would be the best way to be sure that you can see/draw the features without them being tiny and a pain to draw bc of how small they are? What is the best way to blend all of the pictures so that they go together smoothly? Like should I just add pieces of one image on another like birds or something in the air (as some examples) or should I just blend the colors of the background and make it fade, like blending a bench into the color of the next image? What would be the best method to ensure that everything is straight and proportional so none of the images look distorted? Really hope you can help bc rn I am stuck and have no clue what the best way to proceed is.

Can you suggest some colors please. Also, a good white and black. This will be my palette so I can learn how to mix colors and develop my skills with colors in general. Thank you.
