This is such a accurate representation of how something as small as a toy - khilona can make gender discrimination realted statements. I loved how they switch the "gender roles" here and pass such a positive message of how differently people are built. That not every girl likes cooking and not every man likes sports. These likes and dislikes should not decide one's gender.
I found this book interesting - How Dad made me a superhero. My 7 year old read this quite a few time on just 2 days .. He's actually overcoming his little fears and open to explore the scary situations. I happy with this book.
A stereotype broken in a short film and not to mention the positive reinforcement of the parents shown is something which is very rare. This film brought in light the two major issues which our country needs to deal with when it comes to children and their dreams.
This is such a creative way to both highlight the deeply rooted patriarchal nature in our society and help find a solution to the same. I am sure every girl and boy not only in India but around the world experience some or the other form of inherent bias by their loved ones. The message conveyed through this video is not only amazing but also is the need of the hour.
Loved the whole concept, something aa little and materialistic as toys are a product of our patriarchal mindset and we fail to understand that our gender doesn't define our passion.
This video showcases a very huge concept that the girls are not meant be at home or do household chores or the boys are not meant to go outside and work. The girls can also go outside and work and earn money for the household where the boys can stay at home and help in cooking or doing other household chores.

A truly beautiful message to the society. The bias that children faced should be portrayed

An interesting way to put ahead the wide concept of patriarchy in a minimilistic sense.
